I once ran Terranort as an EchoKnight Shadow Sorcerer multiclass. The Echo acts as your guardian and shadow sorcerer allows you to do all of the fun darkness stuff as well. Taking War Caster allows you to make cantrip or spell opportunity attacks from the location of your Echo; going Variant Human/Custom Origin lets you take Magic Initiate Warlock at level 1 so you can grab Eldritch Blast. Boom, you have a keyblade wielding fighter with a shadowy guardian that fires off beams of darkness. You can recall him back to you or resummon him every turn as a bonus action
That wouldn't really work for Ansem, but that's really cool for Terranort, since the Guardian is *spoilerspoilerspoiler*, and that's exactly what the Echo is. Cool build! Might have to borrow it!

So there's this kid, right, and there's this old dude, wait, try again; there's this sword, right, and Mark Hamill? And he's playing chess with Leonard Nimoy...
Okay, so let’s start from the beginning. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. There was a key party, and someone got into a fight. There were no survivors. But some guy was like “That made for a hell of a party though!” and tried to set it up to happen again. A party like that only happens once in a lifetime, so he found a way to Freaky Friday teenagers, so he could work toward his ends. But, he hit a snag when he ran afoul of Disney characters, and Haley Joel Osment. He died, and his party never happened. The end.
The limited resources for xemnas is why my idea was less warlock and less fighter and a lot of sorcerer for more metamagic stuff and i thought of feylock instead of hexblade but shit i cant argue that build thata so mean
Hey there, love the video. I plan to run something like the Ansem build soon. Quick question though. You mentioned 'multiclassing minimums' in the stats section, but you didn't change out of wizard. Was that just an editing mistake?
Forget about using these guys as player-characters... appropriately enough, they're just PERFECT as Boss Characters that the party have to fight. Particularly Xemnas, with his terrifying array of powers but cripplingly low resource-counts - in an actual campaign, you'd be running out of everything all the time which wouldn't be much fun, but as a VILLAIN it's ideal. Even provides a weakness for the heroes to exploit, assuming they can survive long enough for him to get winded...
I know this is from a while back, but I might be confused on where you’re saying Xehanort is getting 40+ damage reduction from each round. Unless I’m missing something, I’m assuming you’re referring to the Arcane Ward, but you can only restore HP to it after it’s summoned for the first time until You long rest, meaning if it’s been knocked down to 0 HP, casting Shield only restores 2 HP, not 40+.
can't wait for you to do shippo (which you said you would get to eventually, back when you made inuyasha), and seshomaru (who you haven't said was happening, but I think would be truly amazing). I haven't put much time into researching this sort of thing). he is definitely charismatic though.
I don’t think the arcane ward refreshes every round. The first time it is used in a long rest it is at its max hp but after that the only way to give it more hp is to cast abjuration spells or take a long rest and use the ability again
I'm surprised Strength was as low as it was for Xemnas considering where that body came from. If I ever get to play him, I might make the Strength the 14, Dexterity the 13, and Wisdom the 8. I know it's been a few years since you were as yoked as you used to be, but dang if Ansem was that ripped, Xemnas must be too
Maddening darkness is my favorite spell and I feel like you did not give it its due. 8 D8 psychic damage, 60 food radius sphere that goes around corners, magical darkness that can not be illuminated by anything 8th level and lower, and it last 10 minuets 100 rounds of combat. Cast it on a fort or castle before your party attacks and everything inside will be dead before you even try to go inside, nothing can see where the spell is coming from, and creepy noises are everywhere.
