The sibling energy just radiates off of Jacob Anderson and Delainey Hayles. She, especially, taking over from another actress, has really managed to capture it immediately.
This show is a 10/10, everything is so immaculate. The acting is phenomenal I can’t
Love it 💯💯
Exactly who I imagined Lestat would look like. He beats Tom Cruise’s Lestat hands down. I can’t wait to see if they make Armand the leader of the demonic band of vampires or if they will twist it.
looks like AMC raised the stakes with the show's promotion. keep it up guys! no one will know about the show unless you talk about it.
I'm so happy this time you're really getting into bigger episode insiders and behind the scenes! Not only it's fascinating to hear insights and see more of everyone, but to see some of the hard work the crew puts into it, they're all very appreciated 💜
The only thing I can say is that they REALLY took it home, they did an exceptional and thoughtful job and I can't wait to see the other episodes❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jacob and Delainey are a force! 🔥
There was no Delaney in the Novels AMC just making crap up
@@kaylaclarkLove Jacob and Delainey are the names of the actors 🤦🏻♀️
Why are you not streaming globally? Let's get the word out there! This show rocks! I want another season with these lovely people!
LOVE LOVE LOVE getting behind the scenes!!!!!!! I’ve wanted this for 2 years!! Please more more more!!! Can’t wait to see the development of the Theatre des Vampires!!!!!!!!!🙏🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The ACTING was AMAZING. A master class. The writing... mind blown 🤯. Loved it❤
Man what more can I say about this show? I can’t recall watching a show with this level of talent from the cast, everyone fits his/her role so perfectly. From the actors, story telling, directing, everything is top notch! Definitely 10/10 once I started this show I couldn’t stop watching.. I’m on episode 2 of season 2 so I’m trying to slow down until the other episodes are released but when a show is this good, I can’t help myself 😭
UK RELEASE WHEN
(But also thank you amc for the bts AAAAAA IT ALL LOOKS SO COOL)
Such an incredible first ep! ❤ love seeing all the care and details that came together to make it! Was so impressed with all the different languages and cool stunts ❤️
Thank you for including the revenant storyline! 🧟 🧛🏻♂️ It was one of my favorite parts of the episode!
This was a great introduction to the season. It wasn't as explosive as the pilot, but I feel like it's easing us into the chaos that's about to unfold once they meet Armand and the coven.
They included the remnants is awesome because the movie cut them out
Because they don’t come up again in the books either. It was an abandoned concept and doesn’t add much
*Revenant*
When I found out that they (had to) replace the actress who played Claudia, I was truly upset and thought about dropping this show.
But the actress is doing such an amazing job that she blends in perfectly.
Even though the pace was slow, I was so mesmerized I didn't care about anything.
I was just sitting there, mouth open, barely blinking ... pure delight!!!
If people are hating on this show there missing out this show us extremely good and I can’t wait for ep 2 to drop the show is so suspicious and Entertaining I can’t wait
Only people hating on it are homophobic anti woke MAGA types
Episode 1 was beyond amazing 🤎🤎🔥
Love this show!
The louis, daniel & armond scenes are the most intriguing.
This show is so amazing!
Go for the eyes😂
Now *THAT* is a real fucking vampire! Really cool and interesting seeing a more traditional/classic vamp in a series of mostly byronic and charming/pampered ones~!
Amazing series
Grande 🎉 show🧛🏿♂️🧛🫵🏿📽️
💕💕
So relieved that he has the correct milo technique. There is right and wrong. I will not tolerate any argument.
I’m going to be reading Louis, Claudia, and Lestat
Like they are c-pses and I’m a forensic investigator
And I can’t hold in my excitement
🚶🏾♂️
I actually prefer Delainey Hayles as Claudia, she seems more natural :)
UK release date please
My only complaint. The episode soo much in the dark,it hard to watch.so where's lestat now?now back then.but, when louis telling daniel the story, where could he be & claudia?
It sure would be nice to get a series for interview with the vampire Based on the anne rice novels. Does anyone know when we're gonna get that
What Anne Rice book is there a zombie/revenant vampire in it?
The first book, Interview with the Vampire. It pretty much happens close to what happens on the show. They come across them in Eastern Europe during their travels.
@@LLChhiArmand I'll have to reread it again.
please bring back Breaking Bad and Better Call Sault to AMC+ :')
I don’t understand why Daciana killed the vampire lol in the books it’s canon that they can reattach eyes, limbs, digits, near instantly. They’re nerfing them so hard. 😭
Eyes don’t generate back in the books. Thats one of the few things that they can’t heal
@@ihavenonamep oh I know, that’s why I mentioned that they can be reattached just as easily as their limbs can. Lestat reattaches his eye after memnoch returns it in the book, and one of the twins/ the blind one, regularly takes eyes from her human victims and places them in her sockets, her body accepts them but they don’t last since they’re mortal ones.
@@lordthetir honestly, this scene seems like a mercy killing to me, even if she did know about reattaching eyes. Seems like she wanted to create more, but failed constantly due to the unhealthy blood. When she was trying to turn the soldier, she basically said it was another failed attempt. Reattaching eyes to an already decomposing body seems worse.
@@ihavenonamep I understand, yeah I would t want to live if I was that thing. I’d want someone to end it for me too.
Since they changed basically everything Anne Rice wrote, they should have just turned Louis English and let him use his real accent.
I'm hoping the IWTV world doesn't come at me but, I was disappointed. After watching and re-watching S1 last October when sick with covid (thought I missed that bullet), S2/E1 seemed more suitable for tweens and teens. The acting was great; really liked (as always) the Daniel/Louis component. It was the storyline in general in S2 E1 that seemed... ahhh... young.
Young? How??
The storyline is actually what happens in the book before they reach Paris.
What is that a zombie, AMC there aint none of that if you actually not be lazy and read the books
There's revenants in the first book. Maybe you're the one that needs to reread.
What an asinine thing to say! Revenant, zombie vampires are definitely in the book! It’s the first vampire they meet in Eastern Europe before going to Paris!
Honestly AMC I think this remake is garbage 🗑 if you read the books 📚 which i hardly doubt u even did. 😤 Louis and Claudia are WHITE, not black why change the whole story line just to make things all woke garbage 🙄 😑 im not watching this tragedy of a show because none of this is in the book. The movie is better then this
Gurl stfu with this. All you managed to do was look racist as hell with no real point being made. Based on your comments about wokeism, I question if YOU have even read these books. Frankly, you not watching would be a blessing to everyone
Nobody will miss you. BYE!
Delainey should have been Claudia in season one. In my opinion, I love her portrayal of Claudia, doll like looking, smart, funny from what I saw of episode one and previous scenes from the trailer. Sorry, but Bailey's Claudia was very not interesting. I'm glad they changed her. And Armand giving looks to Daniel in episode one, that was sexy. I can't wait for the next episode when we see the gorgeous Armand, Santiago, and the theatre of the vampires!!!! Season two, in my opinion, seemed superior to season one.
I am still iffy with Lestat in the tv show still, but maybe he will win my heart like he did in the books. Sad, I love Lestat, my prince of darkness in the books, and Tom Cruise's magnificent portrayal of him (which I wanted Lestat to be in the tv show). But again, maybe I would love him in the end.
Edited: He was just a creepy, perverted, jerk in the show. I mean, Lestat wasn't nice too in the books, but he still has this charming, funny, can't help but love him side. In the show, I just HATED him. Also, I hated that he was effin jealous and dislike Claudia in the show, whereas in the book, he loved her and she was basically his partner in crime when killing people. It was Claudia who wanted to get rid of Lestat, he wanted a effin family. But in the show, it was the opposite. But then again, we can't trust Louis's memory. Maybe Louis is telling a lie, but I don't know.
Remember, they are reading Claudia’s journal as well
In the books lestat r**ped a woman. Not all charm and fun. The show shows his dichotomy and for the first book/show this is not his version of himself but how other characters see him.
I’m not quite sold on the recast that quickly, she barely had lines in this episode. I didn’t connect with Bailey’s Claudia either, just haven’t seen much yet to really decide
