The way that this series has fulfilled every hope and dream I've ever had since hearing about it first becoming a thing 7 years ago. My inner obsessed teen is ✨salivating✨
Can you put a timecode for Assad's name being pronounced correctly? I've seen people complain that his name is mispronounced often, so I developed a fear to mispronounced it, even tho I literally don't need to pronounced it out loud 😅 but still, I need to know
@@lenakataeva7525 apparently he doesn’t really care lol but it seems like most Americans emphasize the second syllable whereas he (and Jacob and Eric in this vid) says AH-sad.
The theater was so amazing! ❤️ the ep went by soo fast but there was soo much to see. Ben Daniels as Santiago was so chilling! You could really feel like his contempt for humanity. The actress who played Annika did such an awesome job as well- I felt so bad for her 😭 Eps keep getting better and better ❤️
It's very interesting to see how everything came to live. It's amazing what great job everyone on the show had done. This episode is still the most horrifying to me
I had a little flashback to Cabaret with Santiago's introduction. Poor Molloy, he has such a fear of his disease and what it is doing to him and sometimes I feel like Armand and Louis tease him by being older and still so young looking.
As a fan of this show...I have to share that there are 2 youtubers who are wonderful: The Articulate Coven. They are well versed in the Anne Rice cannon and for a great laugh , Avatar Adrian. Just wanted to share. Thanks for a great show!
Reminder to everyone who can to please get an AMC + subscription and stream it the second you can! We want a season 3 and it took a bit of a rating dip
The show was never set in the 1800s Season 1 takes place during the 1900s It's been very clear that the show would time jump across time That's essentially one of the pros of vampire media you can show your characters in different eras I'm.sure we will probably end up in the 70s or 80s at some point
I can't say I agree; the exchanges between Daniel, Armand and Louis alone were worth the episode not to mention finally seeing Santiago and the Theatre des Vampires!?? A fantastic episode from beginning to end.
Looking forward at some point to seeing Ben Daniels...but as a whole...this entire remake of Interview...from Season 1 to Season 2 has very little, if nothing to do with Anne Rice's originals books, which I read when they were first released. The characters...especially Louis and Claudia are completely wrong in this adaptation and the nuances of the characters were sacrificed just so this "woke" version/series could be made. If you want spectacular...go back to Anne's original story, characters and books. She was a master writer...this retelling is tiresome and bottom of the barrel.
I loved this episode, BUT I have to say, I dislike, again, the changes. I wished it was Armand instead of Santiago who come hypnotize the woman that is being captured. To me, it just took away his spotlight, took away in showing how seductive, powerful yet scary he can be! I swear, if they change Claudia's death and made her runaway or whatever, I will be very upset because Claudia should be done, not be alive. But season two is far superior to season one. I really like this season.
Molloy's bit with the Telanovelle made me burst out laughing 😂
I spit out my drink!
😆 YES!
Sammme!
Playing the Young and the restless piano theme song made the scene even funnier 😂
@@shippendales8543 omg YES, when it started playing I was like we've totally changed the genre!
Ben Daniels debut as Santiago was breathtaking! Fun fact, the actresses who portray the female coven members run a theater company in real life!
Assad is such an amazing actor. He is adorable
Can't get enough of Ben Daniels...magnetism and brilliance!
Episode 2 was the definition of art. The score, the visuals, the acting, the writing, the direction. Everything on point 💯

CACKLING at the idea of Louis doing a little French cosplay
This was such a good episode! This episode is the perfect example of why we watch this show! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The thing Assad does with his hands and eyes when he says “vintage noir romance” OMG
I finished this episode and immediately watched it again straight after. Perfection.
I had to watch it 4 times
Where can i watch iti'm literally dying
@@focusonu9668 Same!
This was a fantastic episode I adore Armand and Santiago
This was one of the best episodes of the series.
This episode was DELICIOUS in EVERY single aspect, truly.
Ben Daniel’s plays mean characters so well! I loved him in The Crown!!
It wasn't until this that I realized "BEN DANIELS????"
Beautifully amazing episode ❤️❤️

Gotta say, this is still my favorite episode so far out of the new season.

Good episode!!!!
A seduction like no other, Interview With The Vampire series is la petite mort!
give me confirmation for season 3, pls end this pain
Will season 3 still be Interview with a Vampire? Or will season 2 end Interview and season 3, will be The Vampire Lestat?
@@MacrossJet I’m not totally sure but I’ve heard it’s going to be TVL
@@MacrossJet I think from a marketing point of view, keeping the interview with the vampire title makes sense. TVL can be a subtitle.
@Rosengris so: Interview With A Vampire: The Vampire Lestat
Such a good episode! Art.
Beautiful episode. Loved the nods to film noire.

The books will always be special. We can re-read anytime. Doesn't make this series any less than superb.
Easily, one of the weakest episodes of the series. It's almost like they were simply setting the stage for Lestat to return.
