R.I.P. Ian “The Rev” Kewley (Paul’s keyboard player and co-composer of such great songs as Everything Must Change, Broken Man, Tomb Of Memories, and Tender Trap). Just found out that he passed away. So sad. He was a great talent. My condolences go out to all his friends and family. 😢
Wow what a guy. Was only born in 1984 but so in love with Paul. He's got the moves the voice the looks he's so 🔥🔥🔥 love l his music. He's a smile that could turn a nun. Him and Midge Ure worlds sexiest men and their musical talents not given enough credit 😍😍😍😍
Pino Palladino! And Paul Young was such a great singer. Listening to this live performance, I wish I could retrospectively say to him: don't push it so hard or your voice will be gone soon. But it's just as well: as long as it lasted, this was one of the best bands on the planet.
Paul Young sings so very well. And the band knows there instruments well. The other singers in the band sing so very well. Paul Young sings I remember them when I was a teenager. And, know I am 69 years old. Still listen too his songs.
One of Britains best soul singers. Unfortunately he hasnt managed to keep that voice strength to the present day. to be expected, I want to get on the hoverboard and go back to the past
Fantastico,lo amo, peccato che in questo video abbia problemi di voce, poca ma ancor di più ha dimostrato la sua versatilita ' e il gruppo e un tutt' uno.Bravissimiiiii.
where did you get this rare stuff ? thank you for uploading it , i always like Paul's voice as a kid even before i picked up the Bass , and later on became a fan
I had recorded the concert when it was shown on the BBC in 1987 and i've kept it ever since. I've put it onto DVD now and i thought i would share it on here.
Pino is almost as tall as the drummer who is on a riser of significant height...Listen to Tears For Fears "Seeds Of Love"album..Pino turns in some masterful fretless....
mymusicfootage Would it be possible for you to post the entire show without breaking it up? I’d really like to see the whole thing in one piece and in the order the songs were performed. Thanks for posting this btw. It’s a real jewel of a show.
Who was he after at the time? I could use this one to go after the entire system. Or the devil himself. I love talking heads and burning down the house as well.
What a song!!! And what a Band!!! Pino's outstanding bass line!
"Davy Crockett!" I saw him on the SECRET OF ASSOCIATION tour -- such a dynamic performer who gave his all on stage!
This guy and his band were so underrated.
This song was ridiculously underrated.
What a stupid comment. They are rated exactly where they should be.

Pino is bass playing royalty and a really fantastic guy in person.
What a fantastic performer--- good looking and a great voice and great moves. He did not get enough credit.

I agree with you, Paul Young is a great singer and Pino Palladino:a great musician.😃😉
Agreed. I'm so sad about Paul's voice. I was fortunate to see him twice when I was a teen here in the US. AMAZING PERFORMER.
If only I could go back to 1987 knowing what I know now.
Ok, Pino and Rev Kewley are amazing - but guitarist Johnny Turnbull also deserves credit. This guy really SHREDS!
Thought I recognised him. He's on Talk Talk's performance at Montreaux.
I thought it was Jeep Hook at first, looks just like him
Man those were the years!
Early '80s, Mid '80s, Late'80s,.. Best decade in the History along with the '50s, '60s,'70s, and '90s.

Barry Dunne Fun fact: You know Paul used to play bass in Streetband before beginning to sing professionally.
Pino just powering this whole number. It really is all about the bass and yet the vision mixer almost entirely ignores him.
My first boyfriend loved him

Pino!
Have you come back and stay from this concert ?
Hi, sadly not. I've uploaded the whole concert which was shown on the BBC and they didn't show that song.
mymusicfootage Would it be possible for you to post the entire show without breaking it up? I’d really like to see the whole thing in one piece and in the order the songs were performed. Thanks for posting this btw. It’s a real jewel of a show.
The whole song is Pino's bass playing.
This song was all about the bass. Pino...
Pinot and Mick Karn are probably my two favorite bassists, ever. I'm glad Pino is still playing.
Who was he after at the time? I could use this one to go after the entire system. Or the devil himself. I love talking heads and burning down the house as well.
ORCH5 was very popular and very overused
Lovely, but sadly played a bit too fast.
He really half assed his singing here!
Don't argue with me
I love his earlier days and sound with Boltz and the gals..... this here was too fuckin pop/Motown shit
