Hey, Adrian! How to convert a vertical video to a landscape video in Capcut?

Easy, let me show you how!
1. Open Capcut and start a New Project.
2. Select the vertical video and tap on Add.
3. By default, Capcut will format the entire video based on the first clip you select.
4. Go to the main toolbar and select Format. Choose 16 by 9 for landscape.
5. The vertical video will now fit into a landscape format with two black areas on the sides.
6. Go to the main toolbar again and select Canvas. Select Blur and choose the extreme blur.
7. The black areas will now be filled up with the blurred version of the same video.
Sometimes, I like to enlarge the vertical video a little bit to crop off the top and bottom if they are not important.
So that’s my answer to a very popular question… “How to Convert a Vertical Video to A Landscape?”

How to totally remove that blurry sides? I want full screen verticle video and can't find anything in RUclips, I'm shocked to see no one made a video about it 🙄

You are zooming in which like a crop, please tell us how to do it without zooming or croping

In that case, you can stop at the blurring background stage, which is very common these days. No need to zoom in or crop.

@@videolane in my video i give very detailed information, i put lot of text/information in a single slide with smaller text which becomes very small after converting portrait video into landscape mode which becomes hard to read after uploading video because it becomes more smaller.. I think digital board is only the solution of my problem..

Even if you record in landscape Capcut sets the video format to vertical as its default. That's why the tutorial can really be helpful.
