Hey KOL I've been through your youtube for 10+ years since Bleach/Naruto/Toriko era. At the end I agree with you... this was a legendary chapter and it's such a good idea to do now that we're finally getting get a better sense of the over-arching world of one piece.
This chapter is 4 videos bare minimum. We have entered a new phase of one piece. Our understanding of the series is way deeper now than someone who is anime only. If us and those who haven't read this chapter were to rewatch the series right now it would be two entirely different experiences

I believe Roger told Shanks about his lineage before they disbanded the crew. Shanks was planning to make his own crew + Buggy and head to Laughtale before Roger told him something, but after Roger's death we know Shanks changed his mind because Buggy told us that when Shanks was forming his crew he didnt want care to go to Laughtale I am assuming because he wanted to know more about his family.

So I'm thinking Joyboy and Roger represent the first and second world. One World where Joyboy failed and they "again wouldn't meet", hence his apology to the fisherman. And in the other world Roger failing, with them "again not meeting", and him saying they were "too early". And Luffy in the present world (3rd world) will correct the cycle and finally meet again.

i dont think this is the best one piece chapter in terms of emotion and hype while reading. but if you consider how much fun time you have with this after reading this might be the best op chapter of all time

Oda didn't take 2 or more years break to release the new chapter. Oda didn't take the break before dropping this chapter and he didn't take the break after dropping this chapter either. The consistency is insane. Naruto author Masashi Kishimoto said Oda is still drawing One Piece even in the hospital. Oda never take a year or 6 months break since One Piece started. 2 months break during Covid was the longest break. That break is not even for Oda and it is just from Shueisha because of Covid. Oda is producing the content consistently with the little time he has for almost 30 years.
Whatever the case, both mangaka are amazing. Let's remember to respect Togashi's greatness as well. However, yes, Oda is way more consistent content release wise and Togashi has literal years straight worth of hiatuses to help him plan and everything. That absolutely must be taken into consideration along with his writing quality. Wouldn't be fair to say otherwise.
I like the idea that shamrocks sword has the Imu granted version of the power while Blackbeard has the devil fruit version of it. The fact shamrocks sword has three separate blades and the scar Blackbeard gave shanks has three individual slashes is lined up perfectly. Or maybe this is just a reach! Did Blackbeard ever have a weapon that would leave a scar like that?
I think its most likely that each text bubble correlates to the portion of the wall mural thats directly below it. Also would be pretty cool to see Zoro clash with Shamrock's cerberus' "3 sword style".

There is soooo much to think about with that chapter. It was crazy! And that panel at the end. Definitely reminds me of Ragnarok from Norse mythology, probably where Oda got inspiration from. I love big scenes like that, finding all the hidden characters and clues to what it might all mean 😮❤ it also said to me that Loki might become an ally rather than a villain. It looked awfully like he was fighting alongside Nika in that mural

The they did not meet is talking about the sovereigns. Theres no way we have a prophecy of when the two sovereigns meet and thats not what its talking about. We have a crown riding zunesha and we have a mermaid crown. I think that the sovereigns that controll posiden and uranus have never been on the battlefield together. Luffy is going to change that when he introduces shirahoshi to momo.
HunterxHunter can not compete with One Piece anymore. At this point, plenty of the ideas that it does still have will not be that relevant or super exciting, especially now that One Piece delivered one of the greatest manga panels of all time that further pushes the narrative to even greater heights. HxH could have been much better if Yoshihiro Togashi's health wasn't a concern, and I hope he can at least complete the story on a satisfactory note, unlike Yu Yu Hakusho which was not complete with his original vision in mind. The reason why One Piece prevails over all is because Oda started it with its ending in mind way before he began drawing it. Then he began building to such ending, which is why we can get foreshadowing events hundreds of chapters in advance and make perfect sense. No other mangaka does this to the degree that Oda does. That's why he's the King and One Piece, which shows this perfectly 👌
The Blackbeard Cerberus theory is definitely dead. It was one thing to have him take Whitebeard’s power because it is literally stated to be the strongest Paramecia and it was a good twist at the time to reveal BB somehow stole it and made it his own. With Cerberus, it would kinda just be lame now to do the exact same thing especially when we are seeing the power of Cerberus being used for a SWORD. It just feels like now Blackbeard’s potential third Devil Fruit might very well be the Octopus/Kraken fruit. An Octopus has three hearts so it would fit with Blackbeard’s whole “3” motif. It would also be incredibly unique since it would force everyone to fight Blackbeard on the SEA rather than on land. We could have a giant naval battle fighting off the Kraken like Blackbeard. It is part of the reason why I kind of believe Blackbeard and Imu might merge at some point and create this kraken like being because it just makes sense. We all assume that whatever Imu has as a power, it will probably let him swim in the seas. This fusion of Blackbeard and Imu will have the Quake Quake fruit to cause tsunamis, the Dark Dark Fruit to create darkness (like ink) to render people powerless, and then the Kraken/Octopus Zoan power to survive in the seas. It just makes perfect sense that this would be the final boss of One Piece. While the world is flooding and everyone has to get on the Noah and or probably board their own ships, the final threat being a massive beast that is thriving in the seas with the world’s forces having to take down this beast just feels like something straight out of a pirate tale. Luffy will probably beat Blackbeard/Imu in a way that will most likely pay homage to the first chapter where Luffy is on his small boat and beats the Lord of the Coast.
I can say with 100% certainty that years and years down the road, all the weekly OP readers will have constant "you just had to be there" moments

So I'm thinking Joyboy and Roger represent the first and second world. One World where Joyboy failed and they "again wouldn't meet", hence his apology to the fisherman. And in the other world Roger failing, with them "again not meeting", and him saying they were "too early". And Luffy in the present world (3rd world) will correct the cycle and finally meet again.

Oda didn't take 2 or more years break to release the new chapter. Oda didn't take the break before dropping this chapter and he didn't take the break after dropping this chapter either. The consistency is insane. Naruto author Masashi Kishimoto said Oda is still drawing One Piece even in the hospital. Oda never take a year or 6 months break since One Piece started. 2 months break during Covid was the longest break. That break is not even for Oda and it is just from Shueisha because of Covid. Oda is producing the content consistently with the little time he has for almost 30 years.

HunterxHunter can not compete with One Piece anymore. At this point, plenty of the ideas that it does still have will not be that relevant or super exciting, especially now that One Piece delivered one of the greatest manga panels of all time that further pushes the narrative to even greater heights. HxH could have been much better if Yoshihiro Togashi's health wasn't a concern, and I hope he can at least complete the story on a satisfactory note, unlike Yu Yu Hakusho which was not complete with his original vision in mind. The reason why One Piece prevails over all is because Oda started it with its ending in mind way before he began drawing it. Then he began building to such ending, which is why we can get foreshadowing events hundreds of chapters in advance and make perfect sense. No other mangaka does this to the degree that Oda does. That's why he's the King and One Piece, which shows this perfectly 👌
The Blackbeard Cerberus theory is definitely dead. It was one thing to have him take Whitebeard’s power because it is literally stated to be the strongest Paramecia and it was a good twist at the time to reveal BB somehow stole it and made it his own. With Cerberus, it would kinda just be lame now to do the exact same thing especially when we are seeing the power of Cerberus being used for a SWORD.
It just feels like now Blackbeard’s potential third Devil Fruit might very well be the Octopus/Kraken fruit. An Octopus has three hearts so it would fit with Blackbeard’s whole “3” motif. It would also be incredibly unique since it would force everyone to fight Blackbeard on the SEA rather than on land. We could have a giant naval battle fighting off the Kraken like Blackbeard. It is part of the reason why I kind of believe Blackbeard and Imu might merge at some point and create this kraken like being because it just makes sense. We all assume that whatever Imu has as a power, it will probably let him swim in the seas.
This fusion of Blackbeard and Imu will have the Quake Quake fruit to cause tsunamis, the Dark Dark Fruit to create darkness (like ink) to render people powerless, and then the Kraken/Octopus Zoan power to survive in the seas.
It just makes perfect sense that this would be the final boss of One Piece. While the world is flooding and everyone has to get on the Noah and or probably board their own ships, the final threat being a massive beast that is thriving in the seas with the world’s forces having to take down this beast just feels like something straight out of a pirate tale. Luffy will probably beat Blackbeard/Imu in a way that will most likely pay homage to the first chapter where Luffy is on his small boat and beats the Lord of the Coast.
