Always .. anytime I see Media Division and it’s almost 2 hours i already know what that means. I don’t even try to watch it until I get ready with snacks and all like the true cinematic experience it is!!

Dear Nikolas and team, Just finished part 2 and, as with Part 1, I am absolutely amazed by the production value and overall care that you have put into this piece. The basis of every film is the script, and I can tell this one has been prepared with the utmost dedication and care. You have been able to explain in a clear and concise manner what is often difficult to describe with words. Congratulations!! From what I can tell, there is some disappointment regarding the view count. Despite all the wonderful comments, It’s a bummer, I get it. However, it would a pity to not see a Part 3 or, most importantly, more videos from you guys. If it serves as constructive feedback, I think the length has been a factor, but you probably know that already. Particularly, there were perhaps too many comparisons. I’m a nerd too, and I enjoy side-by-side views, but there is a point that once you reach it, it gets a bit repetitive. (Like with the uncanny valley effect, we’re amazed with the progression, but once you get to a certain point, it’s not enjoyable anymore. Hope you get the metaphor). I got to this point when we reached the adapters section (SLR Magic, etc). Also, I understand the desire of letting others speak (the Atlas guys, Tito and Dick), but the real charm in these videos is you, Nikolas, your wit, your sense of humor, the way you expliain things in a horizontal manner, how you share your opinion. Chipping away at this episode through the past week. Thanks to SCOPE chapter 1 and 2 I now know what Anamorphic is and have been able to spot it in some of my favourite films! I am not so sure about wanting to incorporate the anamorphic look into my productions, but I think this has been a vital lesson on Anamorphic filming for me. The presentation of this production is also top notch, just like your other videos. All these comparisons must have been a bit of a pain to shoot, especially for your friend in the knights armour! It is a bit baffling that this episode only got 15k views so far... let's spread this thing around ;) I really appreciate your work Nikolas!
Thanks a lot Cheecken… and thanks a lot for your support. Very much appreciated! The division salutes you… we couldn't do it without your generosity. You bet… Dierk sweated so hard that the armour rusted from the inside 😂 Yes, it is a bit sad that this eagle is not really spreading his wings. Well, with your help… maybe down the road. Damn!!! Was a long wait but well worth it!!! Production value of this channel is astronomical!!! Well balanced humour, information and entertainment... the trifecta of the perfect RUclips channel!!! Cheers!!! 🍺😉👍🏻
45:00 You can see similar quirks with Baush & Lomb projection lenses of the same vintage when compared to modern projection lenses. We recently upgraded from a pair of original CinemaScope anamorphic adapters to some early 2000s Schneider MC Super Cinelux anamorphic adapters, and the sharpness and flatness of color was jarring. The astigmatism was nowhere near as jarring as it was with the camera lenses though, curiously. They're also likely a good deal heavier, so that may be part of it.
This simply is how long it takes to put something like this together... would need more support to be faster... but I ensure you... I was never "away". With pleasure man...Spread the word, please!
77K views is nothing to sneeze at, but with the quality of the information and production this high, I still feel like I got snuck in to a secret club.
I would say it is something to sneeze at. We have to concider the SCOPE series a failure as there wasn’t an audience for it, or RUclips was unable to figure out what the audience would be. We will adjust our future videos accordingly and don’t do 3 long form trilogies any more.

Watch the shot glasses on his desk. Awesome attention to detail done there.
Cheers man… yeah, continuity. You might be the only one that noticed. Not to self… never shot glass on a white table… glass looks milky.
I have had a very busy last three days. I watchged an hour on Day 1, 45 mins yesterday and the rest, today. It was SO WORTH IT. The Media Division is the most Bespoke channel across RUclips. My man Nickki be making movies about making movies. Well done! Outstanding!
Thanks a lot Erwick, surely wish more would feel that way… Spread the word please!
@@MediaDivision I have shared it. Sent it to people who do photography also
That is nice of you… thanks a lot!!!!!
Finally, it's here!!
Indeed
Chipping away at this episode through the past week. Thanks to SCOPE chapter 1 and 2 I now know what Anamorphic is and have been able to spot it in some of my favourite films! I am not so sure about wanting to incorporate the anamorphic look into my productions, but I think this has been a vital lesson on Anamorphic filming for me. The presentation of this production is also top notch, just like your other videos. All these comparisons must have been a bit of a pain to shoot, especially for your friend in the knights armour! It is a bit baffling that this episode only got 15k views so far... let's spread this thing around ;)
I really appreciate your work Nikolas!
Thanks a lot Cheecken… and thanks a lot for your support. Very much appreciated! The division salutes you… we couldn't do it without your generosity.
You bet… Dierk sweated so hard that the armour rusted from the inside 😂
Yes, it is a bit sad that this eagle is not really spreading his wings. Well, with your help… maybe down the road.

Thanks a lot Josh… appreciated. Always trying to the best we can… as we can't do anything else ;-)
Thanks for the input Henry
What a amazing job! Hello from Spain
Thanks Arturo... appreciated
A truly historical video
I hope so … and I hope that more people will realise that ;-)
What a treat!!

Glad to see you back and thanks for all the information!
