Canadian here! I’m currently in a storm (-10°C=14°F with 43km/h wind = 27mph wind and it feels like -21°C/5.8°F) and I only one thing to say, I FKN love this jacket !!! It regulated my temperature perfectly, I don’t feel to hot or too cold, I feel like I’m at room temperature 😁 I was sceptical of this jacket at first but not anymore 😁 (only wearing a basic t-shirt and a sweater underneath)
Absolutely top class 👏 extremely happy with mine. Well fitted, well made definitely my top jacket for outdoor activities. A nice base layer and a jumper underneath works really well with this.
Any chance it will be available this year? The Delta OL is the best winter jacket I own but it's a bit bulky for my locker at work. I was thinking about getting the Gen 2 but I'll wait for this one since it has a hood.
UF pro is obscenly expensive, but you're not paying for the aesthetic, it's the materials and design. There are plenty of lightweight shells that look identical to this, but I promise there is a difference in performance. Ive been waiting for them to add a hood for ever.

They eclipse Arc'teryx on a litany of products, especially with their natural fibered, field craft line. Ya know, the same Arc'teryx that charges $900+ for wind breakers, and $1100 for a rain shell? North Face is bottom of the barrel pricing for mid tier, performance gear. Patagonia, Fyallraven exceed NF, so idk what you're taking about. When has NF sold a $700 Anarok? Exceeding $1k for a literal rain jacket, or $700 for a half button sweater is obscenely expensive, and UF eclipses both on their top end. They have a fkn $400 combat shirt! They eclipse CRYE, so wth are you talking about my guy?! What is not obscene about a $400 fkn shirt?
@@Kevin-xq2tv Do you own any UF PRO products? I'm a SERE instructor, and UF PRO is preferred over Arc'teryx and Fyallraven; the staples of the industry. Their limited quantity runs on their high-end kit makes it all the more desirable. Idk about their entry level line, but they pinnacle above everyone else..
Please make the smaller waist sizes in longer inseam lengths! I need Small-Long trousers and have to have your 32-36 trousers trimmed and tapered by a tailor every time!
Great design, their products are well thought out. But some quality issues with material and stitching. Their customer service is bad. Reading some reviews and the how they handled warranty issues validated that my issue was not an isolated incident. Just letting y’all know what you are getting into.
UF Pro quality has been consistently amazing for me, and I have over five thousand dollars worth of their clothing. About seven jackets, six pairs of tactical pants, and a bunch of other bits and pieces too. All of them are top notch and flawless in quality. Moreover, when I bought a jacket for my partner and it was the wrong size, UF Pro graciously accepted a return and sent me one the right size.
why has that guy got his rifle packed rather than slung ? why is he on a mountain alone ? why isnt the air vent under the arm where sweat happens ? why am i starting to sound like the voiceover guy ?

Is the jacket slim fit meaning that if i have to wear a sweater underneath i have to pick one size bigger than my usual or not?

Honestly, in the category of premium gear, UFpro isn't all that bad. And they put much more engineering into their products as a whole
