      p.s. everyone reading this: if you are in pain, you will never regret purchasing Ellie's products and services. I have gone from being in moderate-severe pain 24/7 to mild-moderate pain a few days a week (or LESS - sometimes I go without ANY PAIN for many many days in a row!!!). it has changed my LIFE.

    Ellie! I am one of your humans, your peeps! I found you on RUclips by searching Egoscue (type #3, I think it was....and you had the entire..like 45 minutes+ ?...routine). That was it..I was hooked by your thorough explanations and the cues which are helpful in the extreme. I just "get' what your work is about and how you go about it! I wouldn't want it any other way. Also, I just realized that because of the thoroughness, I trusted you..and the methods you use...right away...if that makes sense! I signed up for Posture Squad (fantastic!) and workshops and all sorts of what you offer!....
    So glad you shared this and are at the other end of tough times (for the moment!)...even in April, T.S. Eliot's "cruelest month."
    Sending a hug from NYC...

      Thank you Martia! You are one of my humans haha! I didn't know TS Eliot said that about April but I think he was onto something. Feel like everything has been torn open recently but I'm on the other side and back to feeling like me again. xxx

    This happens to so many independent business people, especially those in creative and holistic industries, the pressure to become a content creator. It's such a shame, because actually THE best advice for someone wanting to find their tribe on social media is to actually embrace who they are, and live those values through their content. I promise there is a way to 'do socials' without compromising who you are. Also, as I've told others who I have helped with their socials, often it's a case of working smarter not harder, but always remember that social marketing is its own specialism, so don't feel bad that your specialism is in something else.
    Also, for your info, I found you through a Metro article during Covid, advice you gave about not wearing slippers around the house! So don't disregard 'traditional media' as a tool too.
    And I have recommended you to so many people because of who you are and not for any kind of 'gloss'.

      Thank you so much for your kind comment! It's such a shame that people can't just get on with doing what they are good at and have to focus on social media so much .. but the lure of 'making it' via social media I guess is very compelling. And, once you've 'made it', many more doors open for you! Anyway, I am back to being me again! xxxx

    Thank you for being so open. I am happy to hear that you feel better!!
    I wish you all the success im the world while being who you are (or want to be). I resonate with the you-you (including cats and dogs) won't stop telling people how great you are and how much you changed my life - due to the language barrier I don't think this has yielded many results yet.
    Funny sidenote: hearing you talk about proving your psychological/spiritual well-being sounded like a mirror of the investigative and change work you do on postures and serves as a good reminder that we have the power to create changes for ourselves.

      I totally agree about how my recent issues mirror what I preach with posture! I firmly believe there is a solution to most problems which is exhausting but also very uplifting and quite good motivation to create change. Love having you in my life Sandra and thanks for spreading the word xxx

    very interesting video - sometimes just doing what you like is the best policy - I met you for my first session before covid and it was great, must confess did not think there was anything happening with you in the background and perhaps there was not at that time in any case its great you shared this and great you've re-found yourself - I will end with thing the following - there are much easier ways to get a book published than the stressful conventional way - let me know if you're interested

      Hey Tallat! How are you doing? Great to hear from you again. All was well when we had our couple of appointments - I was very excited to be working for myself and enjoying life at that point. It all got quite bad through Covid, I got very very busy and just kept saying 'Yes' without really asking myself what I wanted and I had absolutely no boundaries between work/my life. All is great at the moment though - it's taken 4 years of figuring it out but I feel like I work in a way that I love, still helps people and I have a great boundary between work and life now. And the book deal has actually come through ... in the negotiation stage now! So it turns out not trying so hard was the best way forwards for me! xxx

    long form is way better for learning. I hate you tube shorts and instagram shorts. I feel like my attention span is being deliberately shortened by the algorithm and I have to fight against it. i.e those random videos 'POV you did this one move and all your back pain dissapeared'. Well it didn't ! ;) And yes I have fallen for clickbaity titles which never deliver. Authenticity always wins in the end!

    • @postureellie
      @postureellie  5 месяцев назад +1

      You should read the 'Stolen Focus' Johann Hari book - our attention spans ARE being altered by all the short form crap - eek!!!! Vive Authenticity! PS I am guessing this is Carol but not 100% sure ..... xxxx
