HxH has probably some of the most touching moments in any anime I've seen . There are a few exceptions, but this series still holds up for me after so many years.
The Hunter crowd during the election was really there to be a reader/viewer insert. Maybe not perfect but express our immediate thoughts and emotions. It was so cool to see everyone unanimously call Ging out.
I love how when Ging was trying to worm his way out of spending time with his son, like 90% of the Hunter Association just started going: *"Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit!"*

i love tsubone so much. The character design is perfect in immediately showing who she is as a character. And shes so distinct everytime she appears on screen.

If this series continues though I do wonder how he will write around it though. It is a huge game changer to find out Killua can make wishes without any of the rules applying to him. Essentially there is no cost. Is Killua and his sister just going to never come back into the story and stay in the background or will Something, lose its power or get removed.

Togashi could have wrote him to go around different cities rampaging, killing the raid party by himself, but decided to make him more reserved and have his guards do everything instead. Possible ways to go around that can be just having Alluka separate from killua, whether it’s by naive alluka getting lost, or someone competent abducting her without killua noticing etc. It’s definitely possible for Togashi to abuse alluka and make killua invincible forever, but it’s also possible to put them into reasonable situations where killua can’t rely on alluka for some time, and making killua vulnerable.
i dont know what is more amazing for the closing of chimera arc, the sweet moment between killua and nanika or the heartwarming & mind blowing moment between gon and ging at world tree.
This right here is PEAK writing ladies and gentlemen, I watched HxH a decade ago and rewatching this and seeing other reactors reactions made me teared up as well 😭

We barely seen any of the Zodiacs in fight so we can't assume who is weak and who is strong between of them. I don't think Pariston is weak, maybe not the strongest but surely not weak.
I didn't really think about it before but Gon also cared for Kite bc he was Ging's student, that's why he's apologizing to Ging, it wasn't just bc of who Kite is to him...he thought Ging sent him to Kite and that he ruined Kite's life bc he wasn't good enough and failed everyone... this poor kid... I'm glad Ging corrected him on that (he better😠)
In 99' version (and in the manga) Gon met Kite back in Whale Island and they formed a brotherly bond whitout knowing each others identities. That's why Kite was so important to Gon but we didn't see any of it in this version
Ging is the type of guy that doesn't give a f about his friends dyring. Gon is literally in verge of death and kite literally and still Ging doesn't give a damn
Bro I really love this anime, all characters here in HXH are so interesting like Pariston, Ging, Hisoka, Nanika, Adult Killua, Adult Gon, Kurapika,Leorio, Zodiac, Spider and Zoldyck family . I wish I can see more of them in action

Back when I first watched this I'm not that emotional since I'm waiting on episode week per week. But after rewatching the series, something is a part of alluka like her friend especially when zoldyck locked her for years. She's her buddy all the time and for Killua to say never comeback that will surely hurt something and alluka at the same time. Like 2 in 1 person.
I’ve watched an iceberg video and spoiler I think there was something said like „in the other continent there are things like 4 big catastrophes“ and Nanika is one of them with her powers. There was also said in the anime „Something’s (nanika‘s) from somewhere else“ so the dark continent
To protect her, he simply has to say : "Nanika, if someone with bad intentions toward you come around you (something like around 40m) send him at the last place he slept or something like that..."

The wish killua made for leaving the mountain and the wish ur saying he should make for allukas safety aren’t the same. For one, killuas wish was limited to a time constraint and isn’t ambiguous like the wish ur saying he should make. The wish ur talking about would have to work on auto pilot which isn’t something nanika is ever shown to be capable of doing as the whole premise of her powers comes from needing a second party to even have access to her own powers.

I don’t think Silva disagrees with anything Illumi did or does in this arc. Everything we have seen Illumi do has been part of the family’s plan for Killua to be the next head. This arc we learned Silva ordered Illumi to put needle in Killua’s head in the first place. Killua speculates his dad and grandfather want to find a way to control Alluka. Killua might be the favorite, but I get the feeling Illumi is the child Silva thinks is most dependable and so he is fine with a lot of his actions.
Also,there’s a theory that “superior” blood in Zoldic family is “white hair” one. Black hair sons are a bit too cruel and pragmatic and less considerate if you think this assassin family’s actually a part of society. My guess is Silva let Illumi does whatever he wants to do ,first as simply because he’s Silva’s son, but also his behavior is very important lesson and training for Killua too.
i hate myself for never watching hunterxhunter sooner, like one piece it was one of those animes i just didnt like the look of and never seemed interesting. but man hxh is one of the anime types i love im sad i never watched it sooner but im glad i got to experience at all.
Kilua didn't blame illumi to trick aluka and nanika....what he means was that he was under illumi control for so long, that even without the needle, he was still clinging to that type of ''flee when facing someone stronger'' behavior. That's what he meant when he said he was still under ''illumi control''. I guess an anime that has actually well writen characters and plot was too much for the dude with the red shirt. Think he should go watch naruto or DBZ super.
