I am sure you are, but be careful in those caves. Make sure you have at least 3 light sources and some water. It's easy to get lost with no light. Also, if there are lots of turns, be sure to set up rock arrows to show you which turns to take to exit, and set them up so you can make them out in the dark.

I live in Bend. It hardly ever rains in Central Oregon, so you just happened to come on one of the few. It does rain a ton in other areas of the state though.😊
Sarah, you and Nikki may want to think about putting your key fobs in a Faraday pouch. They are an anti-theft device that block the signal to your fob. "A Faraday pouch is effectively a metal mesh inside a fabric or leather bag, and the layers of metal absorb the electrons being sent out by the key, stopping or greatly reducing their emission, and thus giving would-be thieves no signal to clone." They are inexpensive and offer great peace of mind. My friend's car was recently stolen in this way - and her fob was in her house! Happy, safe, travels!

I find your voice very soothing, calm and gentle. It gives your videos a sense of serenity which I don’t find in most other videos. This makes your videos unique. Keep going. Stay safe. ❤
Sarah!! I want you to know I’m feeling adventurous which is so new to me.. @@MyLocsareREAL You are so welcome!! I want to get into some of these Oregon scenic routes. Alot seem to be near BLM lands. My camper is my Ford Fusion so unfortunately it may be harder to find spots in the middle of nowhere but I am willing to try. It's worth a try right? Take care and keep us posted.
Sarah showing the values and the person your are, thinking about Family from a symbolic location that reminds you of having sisters as siblings and cherished childhood memories. Thanks for Sharing and safe travels...
I started watching Nikki, now you as well. When you said I hope there are no bats in this cave, I was saying I hope you have your own bat while walking though that cave! 😂
All that rain keeps my home state green and beautiful for much of the year...and you hit all that is great about Sisters, including your hike! Nice to see you enjoying your travels...
Thanks for the adventure and inspiration, your smile and energy are an awesome combination, I look forward to all your upcoming vids, nikkis too, stay safe wish you the best🙏
I grew up in New England a long time ago. On some Sundays on our way home from church when my mother had not prepared anything for our lunch, we would stop at Friendly’s for a burger and a shake. In those days before they named it the Fribble, It was called the Awful Awful. I think that my parents had a lot of fun when they first explain to us the meaning of the name. It was given that designation because it was “awfully big and awfully good.” Ah, childhood memories.
Nice to see that you found your way to our area. You certainly hit some of the highlights. Its fun for me to watch a video and know the names of all the sites, trails, and waterfalls. There are many more gems in the area. Come back again soon!
Hey Sarah! Congrats on the new channel. Our family enjoys both Nikki and your adventures. Question for you. Where did you find your window coverings? We have been inspired!
We don't usually comment, but we DO watch all your videos...plus we always LIKE your videos...to show you our love. You are more of an adventurer and I am. I do NOT like caves, especially low hanging caves. I've gone spelunking...and tight spaces are not my thing. My wife doesn't mind them. She's a little taller than you, but I'm 6'1" and it just isn't my thing. BUT, saying that...we are glad that you are conquering your fears. Yes, Blockbuster. Watched thousands of movies from that company. So many memories. We didn't have a Friendlies near it, but we did have a Chinese Restaurant. So, we go the The Great Wall of China, order our food, then go get a few movies, come back and pick up our order, then head back home and have a grand time. Miss those days. Marie wanted me to send you a comment...to thank you for these beautiful adventures that we get to go on...with you. Thanks for sharing them with us. We truly appreciate your positive attitude and perspectives on life. Stay safe and have a LOT of fun. Talk to you, next time.
The Oregon coast is super beautiful, different from the CA coast imo. Maybe invest in some kind of helmet or head protection if you're going to be hiking in areas where overhead obstacles can potentially hurt you. A cap especially with the bill in front is going to be a liability. You don't want a concussion to ruin a day of fun. Nice editing and views. Thank you for sharing.
You should look into something called a bump cap insert. It's just a hard shell insert for your baseball caps. Protects your head from bumps like you did on that Fisher.
I kicked the soda habit by drinking Pellegrino, or Perrier with ice, a slice of lemon or lime and a non-sugar sweetener. There are monk fruit-based flavoring but they are artificial flavors in the end. I hope that helps 😊
Your video made me tear up. I'm an Oregonian living in Ohio and I'm unable to visit this year as I'm going through a crash course of being a first time mom. I recognized so much in your video but the funny part is I've driven through Sisters so many times, but never stopped. It was so nice to see it through your explorations and I cannot wait to stop there in the future. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
Brave, I don't think I could do smaller caves like that, all I'd be thinking about is the movie Descent.Sponge Bob and Blockbuster at the same time?? Cool door handle to the coffee shop. Cascade pet?, no dog until July 4th.
Sarah, if you are heading into Washington state make a stop at Mount St. Helens. I was there in the late 80s and it was eye opening to how much of the mountain and surrounding area was destroyed by the blast. It would be cool to see how it has change since my visit.
3 friends and I do much of what you and Nikki do. Except we often sleep outdoors during the warm months.....and 4 of us together at all times...no predators can get to us. We have faced the worst one in the LA Salle mountains near Moab UT..next worst on the Appalachian trail in PA. Fun times.
Ten years older and just getting cuter. The camera loves you, as do we. Your videos are getting more and more interesting. Loved Sisters! Very cool town. Went from twenty families to three thousand people now. Love ya! 🥰
And yeah so true about the ice. I never even noticed it. Coz yeah if you are using ice for cooling drinks and water that's when you want to put it directly in the cooler but for foods you want to keep it in bags so the water eventually melts into those bags and you have the cold retaining without getting the water onto everything especially every time you want to change it having to empty out the cooler.
