Today we headed north to explore around Pacifico. However on our exploration we got a little lost but we did not mind as the beauty of the northern part of Siargao Island is just breath taking and it felt like time stood still.
Pacifico Beach Siargao is a cruisey surf town with white sand beaches, tropical palm trees, and world-class surf breaks on the northeastern tip of Siargao Island.
I highly recommend making the drive away from the popular tourist hub General Luna and enjoying some peace and quiet in this tropical paradise in Siargao’s north.

That area looks peaceful and quiet along with great scenery. The zip line looks interesting and surfing lessons are pretty cheap. Thanks for the tour, it was fun to watch.

I am 64 so I remember those days of using maps. You could get them at the gas stations for free. My Dad would get lost all the time because he drove by landmarks.

Yeah the old lighthouse, it's at Trogans resort stayed there last December, it's just remains of the old lighthouse, great place to eat with pool,great views.
It's damn easy to get lost there.. I was two times. Always coming back from Pacifico I'd make a bad turn 😉

I noticed some areas that could benefit from having some more off-road worthy suspension and tires. Have you seen a few extra off road capable motorcycles there than what you would see in Angeles City? I know some good main roads but what about the side roads?

I spent 6 days there last year.. I loved the vibe of General Luna... Seemed like a younger Aust or European type type crowd...
Yeah.. That part was a big take away for me.. So I spent more time away from Gen Luna and Cloud 9.. But went in too eat.. Bebe's BBQ was awesome. I remember flying over, If there was one Filipino on the plane I didn't see them.
I did see that about Siargao being number 1 great news . As far Boracay over rated and expensive .. 👍👍

How are all these public places funded? Do all the provinces get federal funding for projects in public areas? City or village workers paid for by province funding from the government? It sure isn't from public tax. Fees from trikes and businesses?
each town/municipality is in charge of most local projects. Funding is disbursed by the national government after the congress and senate convenes on a national budget. The congressman for a local district (encompassing multiple cities/municipalities in a single province) will advocate on the municipalities and cities' behalf during the budget hearing.
Once senate and congress pass a budget, the president signs it into effect, and the money is disbursed.
Forget that scooter......get a 550 ...650 motorcycle. That scooter is underpowered for 2 people.
