Geat video, Paddy. Bumped into you in Phayao and my gf nearly had a hearty when she saw you. The quality of your content never ceases to amaze me. I haven't bought your e-book yet but I'm pretty sure I will at some point. You come across so well on camera and you're improving at a rapid rate. I love this country as much as you but you do it more justice than I or anyone on RUclips ever could. Stay safe, pal. x
Wow Paddy! What a great stroll down memory lane! I, and I know others, really appreciate the care and hard work you put in to every single video! That's what sets you apart from other 'RUclipsrs'! That and that you take the time to interact with your viewers. Thank you so much 😊👍 Can't wait for the next one!
For anybody who's wondering where the "waterstreet" @12:59 is: That's "Ang Kep Nam Huai San" (อ่างเก็บน้ำห้วยส้าน) Thanks @PaddyDoyle for this video, it has given me some inspiration for future trips to Thailand.
We enjoyed seeing some of your travels again. Such a beautiful place to travel around. My wife is from Phetubun, and we are planning on building a house and retire in Thailand. You really are very good at making these videos. The best we have seen on utube. Keep them coming. Rob and Benci, Toronto 🇨🇦 🙏🙏
Brilliant work Paddy, thanks 🙏🏻 🥰 How long did it take you to do this wonderful informative ebook? Just shows how generous and dedicated you are 👍🏻 Any kid would be so lucky to have you as a teacher 👌🏻
Thank you so much...Paddy Doyle...and Dreamy...for this absolutely awesome journey...that you shared with us ...in the incredible northern provinces of Thailand !! Best presentation of all of Thailand ... we have ever seen ...on your channel...can I subscribe again and again ? Like ?
I have been enjoyed your videos and this one saved me some heartache I feel. I was considering Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai in March/April but after watching you talk about the smoke I've decided against it. Thanks!
Absolutely amazing, fantastic how you condensed the best of the best of northern Thailand 🇹🇭. Definitely going get the E-book it will come in handy for when I travel . Well done and congratulations 🎉 in advance for your 50 k 😃
Just got the ebook. Looks amazing. Added to my collection along with the southern Thailand Paddy Dolly edition. I have been to most of these provinces on my last motorbike tour in 2019. But never saw any of the places you visited. I will have to do it again and follow your lead. Keep dreamy going I want to see her make the whole trip. Replacement motors are cheap for that model. Cheers!
WOW ! You are awesome. This was the information I have been looking for. Now, I feel I can make an informed decision about where in northern Thailand I will be relocating. Thank you.
My uncle gave up coming to the United state and stayed in Thailand. He lives in Phutchabun and now owns a small resort there!!! I was just there it beautiful
Hey paddy, headed to Chaing Mai after seeing samui and kao sok ! Love your book. Im definitely going to have to come back for longer than a month next time! I dont like to do all the touristy things, i wanna be immersed in the culture and get out of all the hustle and bustle. I might even buy a moterbike ;) PS- IF YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING COMING TO THAILAND, GET HIS BOOK. It's absolutely worth it
You are the amazing and best traveler in thailand. Thanks to your videos we are returning to thailand we love, we have been going there since 2010 to the island of Koh Samui
Nice Vlog Paddy D . I’ll be over February/March visiting my girlfriend s province not far from the Naked Guru , so looks like we will head south to be out of Smokey season, thanks for the Tip .
Very nice and informative eBooks! Just got them yesterday. They will come in handy to learn about the provinces before and during the visit. So many interesting places to explore 👍 🙏
I bought the first e-book a week ago, today the second one as soon as I found out that it is already there (without waiting for the episode to end). long story short, more support for you Paddy. I really like your videos and e-books keep it up.
Thank so much for addressing the smokey season right at the start! I had heard and was going to ignore it but now i think ill pass going north in march😢.
You are made to do this, Paddy. Seriously. One of the best travel channels I've seen. Great presentation and editing. Thank you. Oh, if I may hire you / treat you to a fancy meal / pick your brain during my trip this Jan-Feb '24, lmk. I'm serious. Haha. Ready to succumb to my wanderlust. Btw, Windermere / Lake District, UK is the only part of Scotland that God left in England. Peace, brother.
I have been so busy, super busy. Just have time to catching up all your video. Your guide book is absolute must for everyone who plan to travel to Thailand. I am Thai, and couldn't agree more with Info you said briefly about it in this video. They are all spot on. Well describe for each provinces. You guide book sale should be hot on fire. Good luck with that. Actually, no need for the luck coz you did it all. 👍👍👍👍
Decided to revisit your Southern highlights real, it was great then, and great watching it again. I really wanted to see Krabi again to be honest. Looks amazing.
Got myself a copy of the combo version. I actually knew you very recent via youtube during my trip to Isan a couple of weeks back. Started following you since. With this guide to south and north, i will plan to have another trip to both north and south during 2022 to those places which you recommended here but i had missed during my trip in 2021. Keep the good work going!
Loved your vids from the North buddy, also the drone video, 2 hours of perfection and chillaxing Paddy 👊💕 Got the combo PDF, happy to support, still wearing the limited 40k subs follow your dreamy tees with pride with the wife 💪 Onwards to 50K subs buddy, nearly nailed it 🤙 And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers 🙌🍻
Having done the Mae Hong Son Loop and Nan Loop im so excited to go back in October and check out Chiang Rai province. Some real inspiration here for the three months i have planned!! Nice one Paddy!
Another great video Paddy. Love the little tidbit of thai trivia, history and culture. My girlfriend has a home in Petchabun. We can be neighbors Paddy. 555
Thanks, I know most of these places by short trips with car. But you are right, we must go deeper in it, best with motorbike. I am progressing in learning Thai, then nothing can stop me 😂
Hey paddy would be cool to see you make a video on south easy Thailand VS south west Thailand. P.S. Not complaining you have made the most amazing videos just thought itd be cool :)
16:06 such a plus for bike travelling in Thailand that they put "view point" boards, little efforts bring great benefits for the travellers, particularly what I love about Thailand. Vietnam similarly has numerous such view points littered as well though like 90% of them are off the main road behind some pathless empty plots of land & sadly unless you befriend some locals, there's no way to tell when & where to look.
This is a brilliant video I've even commented on it b4 I've finished watching it great job ... BTW did you av manny problems with mosquitoes up in the North of Thailand 🇹🇭
@@adamlitchfield3371 I love it. The gasp, choking and chest pain I get when a check my bank balance after it is all done... I know my trip will go like this, I am not going to stay at the elephant sanctuary I cannot afford $1000 a night. I get there, maybe I should, I look around, OK just one night, a week later I will still be there.
If you went to the top of Doi Chang you will find the head office complex for Doi Chang Coffee with the century old red roaster I was instrumental in finding and refurbishing. This was the very beginning of DCC. The logo you see everywhere in Chiangmai province is of the headman for the village. Not my friend Wicha the founder who sady died of a heart attack in the plantation a few years ago. cheers Tim.
18:21 That's the five Buddhas of this eternity period.. The biggest one is the final, the grandest of the five, Metrai Buddha who'll enlighten in the future, next to our era. The 2nd biggest is the first, the progenitor of all Buddhas in this eternity, Kakusandh Buddha. The middle one is Konagaman Buddha, the successor. The 2nd one from the front is Kassap Budha. The previously enlightened one. The one in front is Gotam Buddha or Angiras, the current Buddha, our teacher. The sizes of each Buddha image reflect how extensive the time they've used to fulfill their merits to become a Buddha. Note that there's no ranking between Buddhas. The one taken the most of time to fulfill Buddhaship reflects his greatness in perserverance. And the one taken the least of time reflect his greatness in wisdom. Gotam Buddha also named the next ten Buddhas to come after this eternity ends in Tipitaka.
Hi Paddy. Great work mate. I am having trouble purchasing the Northern Thailand E Book. Is it because I am in Sydney, Australia? Having issues with the delivery address. I am not sure if it even matters for E book. Can you help with this? Thanks mate
I love your video diaries! But I have a prob. I am travelling to Thailand and am tempted to go to Chang Rai.However Im alone with my 2 daughters aged 11 and 14 so the scooter thing gets more difficult. Do you have any suggestions about how this could be possible?
Amazing list of things to do in N Thailand. I will probably look at this again when we can make it back to Thailand. One thing that was a bit annoying, the ads in this video, every 3 minutes….. Why is this so different to your other videos. 3 minutes is waaaaay to short between videos.
Hey Paddy, how do you coordinate your trips? Do you have a base and do weekend trips or do you just go from place to place? Thanks Paddy, your an inspiration.
hi Paddy, love this video!! i also interested in find somewhere in Thailand and build my dream home by myself. some thai people said that foreigners can rent government lands for like 30 years.Have you ever heard of that?

The website will not accept my credit card - BMO Mastercard (Canada) - says it is "invalid"
Won't let me buy it. Says the address doesn't match what they have on file or something
Think I'm going to need to extend my 30 day visa about 12 times when I come back to Thailand haha. So many new places that I need to see!
