Josh, my husband and I are moving into an RV for full time living, you've helped me LEARN so so much about RVs. Because of you I know I definitely want a 5th wheel lol because of you I actually know what I'm talking about and I'm quite educated about RVs. I definitely don't know everything, you teach me new things all the time lol I appreciate the time you take to go through EVERYTHING in the RVs! I really do!

I wish they still made this with the front soaking tub. Unfortunately it's no longer available. But the new version DOES have a giant front closet thankfully! Here's a look: bit.ly/3n4TqKA
This is by far my favorite RV. I have a pain condition and soaking in a hot tub is a must. I have been looking at RVs just very recently and was always disappointed whenever I saw a shower only or a very small tub. Hated the idea that I’d have to rent a hotel room every two days just to get some bath time in. In a perfect world, I’d trade out that half bath for a laundry room. I would never need it. But definitely would need the laundry area more
Quick as info: Sadly the soaking tub feature was removed from Montana's lineup. I *loved* it and was sad to learn when it had been replaced by a more common front closet. Unfortunately there's no way to even custom order it any longer.
First Holy Cow ... what a Camper. My wife is in Awe over this one. Yes it was longer but the fact that you take the time to show everything . You also cover all the Pro and Cons. Absolutely Great Review. Very Honest. Can’t beat that. Blessings from Gettysburg Pa

Love your informative videos. I noticed the furniture in the LR are different than the furniture on the website in the same model. I think this furniture looks nicer. Is this the furniture available on the 2019 model?
Not fully following you here. What you see is the current generation at the time of filming. This is the furniture all current Montanas are using. It's a "late 2019" change. Earlier 2019's have slightly different furniture.
Thanks, I will clarify ... although I think you answered my question. While watching this video on the Montana I noticed some nice RV furniture, which I don't often see. The sleeper couch and the double theatre seats were light in color and had buttons or tucking on the backs. From your answer I'm to understand that if I were to order a Montana now, it would come with those two pieces? Even in the 3811MS? Also, am I able to get a different backsplash, or have none at all and I will add my own? I have not worked with Montana before so not sure how that works. Thanks for your time. P.S. I'm sure you've heard this before, but the reason your videos are so good is that you spend time answering the questions we are thinking, and you spend the time opening the cabinets, etc. Thanks for that.
@@carolcunningham Yes, the furniture you see in this model is the current style for any Montana produced at this time. It's an extremely recent update that began only around late August / Early Sept

A more traditional front bathroom without the soaking tub will likely have what you seek. Models like our Pinnacle 36FBTS or Eagle 336FBOK for example. Here's a sample: bit.ly/2QRoZ7L
Great videos!!! We are in the market to purchase a fifthwheel with a second bathroom. I was excited to see the new color and furniture package for 2019. But I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED to see that Keystone did away with the arch barrel ceilings... making the ceiling height much much shorter! I'm 6'4" and noticed it alot in the bedroom and bathroom.... do u know why they did this, was it to cut cost and is this the norm going forward with Montana?
You're right they did away with the barreled ceilings, but you're mistaken about the loss of interior height. Interior height was GAINED in the exchange. Instead of the ceiling curving down at the edges it's now the height of the previous "apex" of the curve all the way across. You picked up a significant amount of sidewalls height. This also allowed them to improve the ducting of their A/C systems to gain roughly 15% more airflow. It was an *excellent* upgrade.
Hi Josh. We're thinking about full-timing in something like this which is a very impressive model. We're also thinking about a Northpoint. I know the Montana and other Keystone models mention having two attic vents. I haven't heard you comment about Jayco's having these attic vents. Do they?
Prob only I see two things I might suggest to Keystone. 1-toilet a wee bit too close to shower..some of us are fluffy. 2. I don't see a grab bar on the outside of tub to pull urself out
I tried to leave you links in the video description where you can always check current pricing and availability as opposed to now completely outdated and invalid pricing from several years ago in the city was posted on a mile that’s no longer produced. Hope that clarification helps. It’s always one click away never requires a call to anyone here That being said we’re actually reworking our website right now so it’s possible some links are broken temporarily
We are not a Wildwood Dealer. That's not a floor plan unique to them by any means. You can see similar layouts including a VERY close counterpart called a Grey Wolf 29BH here: bit.ly/2s3d5PP
Just a thought... Why have 2 toilets? The majority of the time will only be 2-4 people staying in a unit like this and it would be nice to have a bathroom that has no toilet at all in it. The half bathroom in the middle is more than ample to cater for anyone who is staying in there. Added to that is in the case of this unit if the front toilet was taken out of the bathroom it would allow for the layout in the bathroom to be altered in a way that gives you the same nice large bathroom but can move the bedroom along which in turn give you a larger kitchen/living area
In a floor plan like this the 2nd toilet eliminates the need for guests to walk through your bedroom (which is typically viewed as a very private area). Attempts have been made to remove that 1/2 bath from some brands. All of which proved immediately unpopular. If the idea of the 2nd bathroom doesn't do much for you, then flipping back to a conventional from bedroom / middle bath is the direct solution.
@@sv4851 Ah! Makes more sense lol. While it might work for some, it also introduces more steps at night which most FW owners dislike. The toilet isn't really "in the way" of much in the front master bath as it is. It's likely something that could VERY easily be done aftermarket in a literal matter of minutes.
@@JoshtheRVNerd My wife and I will be in contact with you guys at some stage. We are from New Zealand and planning a USA/Canada RV trip, then export the unit out to Japan for 1 year then on to Australia for 2 years and back to NZ. We like what you do and how you present your product.
Keep in mind you lose heating efficiency when you do that. We carry products built both ways & know the benefits and drawbacks of each system. If you're concerned with the idea that "dirt will get in the vents," then know $5 can overcome that challenge w/o losing the superior heating airflow of floor vented heating with these things here: amzn.to/2RXZMd8 We'd be happy to buy you a whole box of them lol
@@sandrajohnson6005 Quick correction for you: It requires 12v for ignition, but requires propane for heating. Electric sources are not powerful enough to heat on-demand in RV applications.
for that montana what size pick up truck u will have to get to tow that camper with it a lot to haul but also it nice too with all that said and done how much the package deal
Susan Schexsnayder for that weight and profile, you could technically get away with a one ton single rear whee with air bags. But wouldn’t recommend it. One ton dually would be the way to go. F350/dodge 3500/Chevy 3500. Add bags for a better ride to the one ton as well.
I TOLD my husband to buy a bigger truck! I don't even have to look at another camper. I hate showers. I always take baths. If he wants to eventually be a full-timer, he's going to need a new truck because I'm not full-timing in any other camper! I NEED my bathtub.
Sadly... Montana just discontinued this model (like... JUST). They still offer a front bath with a full closet, but the soaking tub's time is done it seems. You can review other front baths here: bit.ly/2H6YSUN & Other Montanas Here: bit.ly/2L4zt3V
This vid being a "few years old" at this time, I have no idea if you'll get this message but hell.... This is a nice floor plan with the tub. I'm a guy but us guys could use a tub to kick back and rest the ol' back now and again. I'd probably think about this with regard of the lost closet. There are other areas to place the hanging stuff and still have the tub as well. Now, let's talk about the comment of the wife, the shower and the height phrasing to be used in todays society and to keep everything "politically correct" to not hurt those feelings of some weak folk out there. We prefer to be called VERTICALLY CALLENGED. No longer using the "gravity friendly" (or what ever you said) and cerainly never to use the word "short", especially around us "less heighted" folk out here in this world. Always remember to be happy and enjoy life to the fullest cause we don't get a second chance! Go Brandon!
Hi Linda! Tankless water systems don't have a vessel they heat then pull from when you need hot water. There's a small channel thru the water heater that is quickly heated as water runs thru it in real time providing you hot water on the fly When you're boondocking the water comes from your fresh tank When hooked up to park facilities, then it's heating the water coming in from the hose on the fly!
While Montana still builds a similar front bath model they no longer offer this RV as shown with that soaking tub. I'm not really aware of any mainstream brand offering it at this point. Most of them are laid out similar to this now: ruclips.net/video/e2stp0kWQ_I/видео.html
We have done it before. We're not container shipping experts by any means, but are happy to help arrange delivery to the port of your choice here in the contiguous states from which you could make final arrangements.
Hey, Great 5th wheel, but I'll never buy one, because of heater vents in the floor. They could place them in bottom of bath cabinets and kitchen island. Others do it why doesn't Jayco?
Keystone, the maker of this RV and Jayco alike both have maintained floor ducted heating because it's significantly more effective. Testing has yielded cabinet ducting loses 37% of the airflow from your furnace. Montanas, North Points, and Pinnacles are true cold camp rated RVs with the testing data to back it up rather than falsely-stated R-Values as is sometimes the case in other brands on the market currently. Just because "others do it" doesn't mean everyone should. If you're not interested in cold camping, then perhaps getting away from floor ducts is ideal for you. If you do want better heating in your RV in a cold camp scenario, then floor venting is absolutely what you should be seeking.
Axles come in plenty of weight categories. Quite a few fifth wheels this size and larger are tandem axles with appropriate chassis & running gear combinations. Like the entire Jayco Pinnacle series.
Hi Carmen! You might've noticed we aren't a dealer of the Alpine product, so you won't be seeing their new RVs in our channel. Alpine is a sister to the more popular Keystone Montana series (which literally the single most popular fifth wheel on the planet). That's basically just their version of Montana's new Front Living we're trying to work into our mix now.
This RV as seen with the soaking tub is no longer produced. A similar updated design will full front closet is still available however.
Do they?
Yes, they do. Great detailed question!

Omg I want this
I wish they still made the soaking tub
@@JoshtheRVNerd Wait whaaaaat? That's one of the reasons I wanted it. Can it be customized?
I want an rv with a tub
I wish they still made this one
Beautiful camper
Prob only I see two things I might suggest to Keystone.
1-toilet a wee bit too close to shower..some of us are fluffy.
2. I don't see a grab bar on the outside of tub to pull urself out
I wish they still made this. The soaking tub model you see here was only in production for about a year as it turns out
Hate when they don't post the msrp
I tried to leave you links in the video description where you can always check current pricing and availability as opposed to now completely outdated and invalid pricing from several years ago in the city was posted on a mile that’s no longer produced. Hope that clarification helps. It’s always one click away never requires a call to anyone here
That being said we’re actually reworking our website right now so it’s possible some links are broken temporarily
The soak tub should have jets in it. Nice RV....
@@Erin-Thor There's currently a backorder on the little paper umbrellas for your jacuzzi drinks.
Can you do a video of the 2019 forest river wildwood x-lite 282QBXL
@@JoshtheRVNerd no no, meaning take the toilet out of the front bathroom.... leave the middle one there.
We like what you do and how you present your product.
wish they would get the heat vents out of the floor....only complaint I have with this...
Keep in mind you lose heating efficiency when you do that. We carry products built both ways & know the benefits and drawbacks of each system. If you're concerned with the idea that "dirt will get in the vents," then know $5 can overcome that challenge w/o losing the superior heating airflow of floor vented heating with these things here: amzn.to/2RXZMd8
We'd be happy to buy you a whole box of them lol
Nice!!!
Like almost everything except the”dining desk”. Prefer a booth.
Nice. Any info on the new bath 1/2 version of the 3790?
I think you may have a few models mixed up. Are you thinking of the 1/2 bath version of the front living? We have that one coming.
I'm curious how much propane that hot water heater will go thru filling up that tub? I assume the RV has twin 30lbs tanks.
It's an electric tankless water heater , if I'm not mistaken.
@@sandrajohnson6005 Quick correction for you: It requires 12v for ignition, but requires propane for heating. Electric sources are not powerful enough to heat on-demand in RV applications.
Would love to have this. Maybe one day I will find a used one for sale
I miss that soaking tub! Here’s the current version m.ruclips.net/video/MEBWMBOswGk/видео.html
Missed the wine rack in the kitchen
"in my skivvies" lmao
for that montana what size pick up truck u will have to get to tow that camper with it a lot to haul but also it nice too with all that said and done how much the package deal
Depends on the model. For a "Full" Montana a 1-ton is a good place to start.
Haylett RV can u also get that in a 2 bedroom 2 bath regular bed and queen in front bedroom
@@susanschexsnayder3712 I would ask you to contact our team at 800-256-5196 to clarify a bit of what you're seeking
Would that be daddy cat by any chance?
@@JoshtheRVNerd LOL, yes.
I'm sold Josh
Now how much we talking?I'll be ready soon
Sadly... Montana just discontinued this model (like... JUST). They still offer a front bath with a full closet, but the soaking tub's time is done it seems.
You can review other front baths here: bit.ly/2H6YSUN
& Other Montanas Here: bit.ly/2L4zt3V
So smart
I wish they still made this
This vid being a "few years old" at this time, I have no idea if you'll get this message but hell....
Go Brandon!
Yep! Still see them :)
Here’s some updated footage of this one m.ruclips.net/video/MEBWMBOswGk/видео.html
No more soaking tub but man.. beast mode
Hi, just a recommendation to talk less and just show everybody like when you walk up to the bathtub show how deep it is
Impressive
Good day Mr. Josh l do not understand yankee water heater l mean where is the water
Hi Linda! Tankless water systems don't have a vessel they heat then pull from when you need hot water. There's a small channel thru the water heater that is quickly heated as water runs thru it in real time providing you hot water on the fly
When you're boondocking the water comes from your fresh tank
When hooked up to park facilities, then it's heating the water coming in from the hose on the fly!
Bro, so many of my customers have no idea what is on the roof!
Glad you find the footage useful!
Qué increíble es mil veces mejor qué una casa
Where can I get one of these?
While Montana still builds a similar front bath model they no longer offer this RV as shown with that soaking tub. I'm not really aware of any mainstream brand offering it at this point.
Most of them are laid out similar to this now: ruclips.net/video/e2stp0kWQ_I/видео.html
Why don’t they offer this one any longer?
@@Tybearmouse Short answer: Lack of demand. Vast majority of buyers requested a front closet rather than the tub. I wish they still made it both ways
I keep expecting to see Ducky
What about delivery to Hawai’i
We have done it before. We're not container shipping experts by any means, but are happy to help arrange delivery to the port of your choice here in the contiguous states from which you could make final arrangements.
How much for this RV with the generator
Give our team a call at 800-256-5196 & we can quote stuff out for you quick and easy.
Why do you live so far away? I am in western Colorado. I want this on my property with a cement pad and a sun shed built around it......:-)
The good news? Doesn't matter where we are. They're on wheels. We can get one from here to there. All we need is for you to call us.
My question is that how is this only a double axel rig?
Axles come in plenty of weight categories. Quite a few fifth wheels this size and larger are tandem axles with appropriate chassis & running gear combinations. Like the entire Jayco Pinnacle series.
Could you do a review of an Alpine keystone 3711kp?
How hard is it to enter the shower with the toilet so close?
It’s not. Door slides both ways
What's the full price of this RV?
This RV as seen with the soaking tub is no longer produced. A similar updated design will full front closet is still available however. Pricing will naturally vary based upon your options preferences. Here's a look at one really heavily loaded & painted: bit.ly/3n4TqKA
Our team can send you a build sheet & assist with pricing any time at www.haylettautoandrv.com/contact/
oh lord please don’t let my fiancé see this tub in a RV😅 curious what other makes and models have tubs?
Well good/bad news: This model has been retired for about 5-6 years now and is no longer made. I'm not really aware of a similar "soaking tub" style RV bathroom currently out there
