@@darixulx5349 Chinese spy app, literally reports all data it collects to the Chinese government. For someone who is running a RUclips channel for development I'd say it's pretty disingenuous to do an advert for Opera. I understand it's what pays the bills, but there had to have been different sponsors available.
I'll watch this video later
😂😂😂
😅😅😅😅😅
Start reading the third section of the book, first
Please don't do that. Internet memes are funny but the video and the message of the book are incredible if you're really interested in dealing with procrastination. As someone before me said the third chapter is the practical stuff so if you can, get the book and read the third chapter.
Naah, videos are fine. Books on the other hand… 😅
When I see a new video about procrastination pop up, I check how long it is, then spend that time doing something useful... ;)
I've been doing useful physical labor, I decided to take a break for the length of this video.
Oh, you cheater! :D
I actually bought the book because of your recomendation and one of the best turning point of my life ever. I'm a chronic procrastinators and finally get to know myself why and why I keep procrastinate everything.
A chronic whatnow
Now all I have to do is to stop procrastinating for long enough to read this book. Should be easy enough, right?
Try the audio version
I love the way you talk about books and self development, wish I could subscribe 200 times
I'm amazed at how the structure of the scripts is getting better and better. Proud of this channel!
This is the video i wanted from you , your videos on books of learning techniques are next level , thank you, please do upload content like this more
I love the way you talk about books!
Thank you! Not at all commensurate with the value received from your channel but what you do is much appreciated!
The fact i have sat through the entire video seems to be an unconscious concern with the level of procrastination in my life.
More of these sorts of videos please! Really enjoyed how you presented this. New subscriber 👍
There are certain concerns about privacy, when it comes to Opera. If you are an average Joe, then its less of an issue, but, if you delved deeper into privacy space and find out that keeping your data more secure is important, then, check the cons and pros of Opera.
PS: Thanks for the video, btw.
I had to learn to slow down, and focus on my intention was for the project. A meditation book called 30 Days to Overcome Procrastination by Corin Devaso helped a lot.
Book, ordered. Thank you for such a great explanation 👍 just gotta read it now 😂
Video Games are one of the worst forms of procrastination because it makes you feel like you're accomplishing A LOT! Because your character is progressing or YOU are progressing in the game. AND this feels exactly like days when I've been VERY productive and got a lot done. There's literally NO DIFFERENCE. BUT what you realize later is that while you feel like you got a lot done, you actually accomplished NOTHING in real life. Absolutely NOTHING. AND the age old excuse of "well I could sell this account online" is bunk cuz 99% of gamers never do this.
The same thing goes for other hobbies.
However don't get it twisted, hobbies are great and essential for a balanced life. So as long as the gaming is kept in proportion to other things, great. But it's all too easy to retreat from life into games that give HUGE dopamine hits on a regular basis.
Just what I need, I'll definitely watch this later.
What if you procrastinate about reading the book?
Let me think about it... 😅
Reading a book on procrastination is procrastination…”JUST DO IT”
Or don't do it. You may never need to do what you are procrastinating about. And maybe it wasn't worth doing in the first place?
It isn't if you consistently struggle with procrastination and don't understand why.
In that regard, reading the book on procrastination is already one step of the process to fight procrastination outlined in this video.
When "checking" a book off the shelf I often separate the references pages from the rest of the book. If it is about roughly 1/3 references to 2/3 material in thickness I give it a peruse, scan the Table of Contents, fast scan/fan the pages, and make a decision. If I choose against getting it, I make a point of memorizing the cover or writing down the title and author. Something made me pull it off the shelf to look, so I'll do a quick online research session on it - and maybe return to buy it. For those I choose, I carefully scrutinize the references notes as I reaad. Sometimes I'll head to a reference and check. If an author takes a quote out of context, and blatantly so, I'm probably done with the author. NOwadays that involves a quick, "I'm disappionted," email or message to them, not a whiny socmedia post. For all the books I go through come copious notes that I review periodically, add to a Google Drive doc, and share with peers.
You videos seem to fit smoothly with my own, problably nutsy-gefooly, way of choosing and consuming material. Thank you!
I'll get around to reading this at some point.
I'm so proud of myself for not just liking & closing the video!! Now I just have to fight the urge to overthink & forget about buying the book😖
I was going to buy the book, but I decided to think about it. 😀
I need this video. I'll watch it later...
Thanks
Well meaning RUclipsr: go to a library first to read the book before buying it
Your common procrastinator: 2 minutes into a video, let’s add this to watch later
I should probably be working on my own book now, but I'm watching a video about procrastination. I'm not procrastinating though, because I decided to take the day off. I'll procrastinate tomorrow.
Saved to Watch Later list
Listening to this because of the sound of your voice and accent
Every youtuber who talks about this all make videos with bait that they have "the definitive solution", as if they are likely the first or only ones who have finally cracked it and the viewer has just been so lucky and blessed to have stumbled upon their channel with the life-changing answer. And then this happens: The "solution" is basically all the same tired talking points that all the others offer with the same baity notions, and like all the rest are either 1. Drawn out long enough for ads and sponsorships, 2. Incomplete in their consideration, 3. Poorly communicated in some way, 4. Overly scripted but still misses major points somehow or 5. All the above. I got half way through this and correctly predicted this to be just another one of those videos, but in a "trust me bro, let me speak at ya with my face right in the cam so I look more personal and real about it."
I would like to add that he also was like "ask an AI" not realizing that all LLM are is just the word auto complete on your phone suggesting the next word and only giving you the most coherent responses. I hate it when people claim that AI has the answers to your problems
Exactly my thoughts! RUclips's algorithm still keeps washing this stuff into my suggestions, probably because I am interested in topics like organisation and productivity. Annoying...
Nothing like procrastinating on reading a book about procrastination that'll help you stop procrastinating...
I managed to get the book ordered online from my uni library before the video ended.
I bookmarked this to watch later.
*Adds to 'Watch Later'*
Nice video, Ill see it later
I will buy the book tomorrow
Nice
3:05 😅😅😅
Saved to watch later.

Why am i always procrastinating by watching "how to stop procrastination" vids😢?
I'll probably watch this video tomorrow
Bro. A book. On procras... Oh never mind.
Hi my storyteller. I liked your titanic story.
You wont believe there is no public library in my city.
Technically mismanaged dopamine
if you are not saving this video for later, you are not procrastinating enough
I'll watch this video later.
I'll be back later!!! 😊
Putting this on my watch list just for irony sake.
Im in your Discord but none of the rooms are open to me. I can't even talk to anyone in there.
I'll get a copy of that book... but I'll put the kettle on first... A very English cultural mass procrastination...? Making Tea...
I'm not going to watch this video until tomorrow or maybe the day after. lol
I got the book at the library now i need to stop procrastinating and read the book 😂
i opened this video and then thought I should get back to finding friends on bumble and instead watched tiktoks for an hour xD i am the problem
I’d love to read the book but….
Well, you know. There’s always tomorrow.
Dang it…
I was one comment too late.
Dang my infernal procrastination !!!
This book has the most boring, uninviting front cover of any self-improvement book I've yet seen. The back cover is more visually stimulating!
from pakistan
I am procrastinating in reading comments 😮
The sound doesn't match the video style. The sound is amazing and has an ASMR feel to it... But the video style is casual, down to earth, and no nonsense...
Personally I prefer the casual, no-nonsense style of your videos over the soft, sensual style your audio is suited for.
Just my $0.02
Lets skip to part 3
Nope
I found my tribe..... petty petty people 😂
Cut your nails. Don't procrastinate.
dude donsent teach python
Channel name doesn't correspond to content anymore. 😑
Ehhh, I get that, but it's also totally wrong. He's never shied away from tangents or holistic thinking; this is just another example of his channel addressing the big picture of people learning Python and implementing it in their lives. For a lot of people, procrastination is a much bigger impediment to coding than math or logic, for example. Hence, it's totally on-topic. Can it apply to other aspects of life, too? Yep 👍
I saw this on my hope page and clicked "Watch Later" ... no irony there ;-)
