the flow is most certainly real and important. There clear cases where I play bad and get increasingly frustrated with my play. Other times, when I've got the flow with me, everything happens without thinking. That curve also very well explains why I play like absolute garbage when playing together with people who aren't putting in any effort. Excellent advice here.
One game i would recommend to you for mental strength and to start the game with 100%: 1. you need a dice-app, set up 2 dices (1 - 6). so you could get numbers from 2 till 12. 2. Each Player/team (Single, or doubles) roll the two dices, and notices their numbers in their head. 3. Now you start the game, counting normally, but each Player/Team has to reach only the number, they rolled, while you don t know, what your oppenent has to reach. Maybe a 2 :D So get your ass up and start with 100% ;). You ll notice directly a big change in your head.
All your videos are really interesting and I've learnt so much. Can you please do another video about tactics and strategies in singles, for example how to play against tall/short players, fast/slow players, powerful/deceptive players etc. Many thanks.
Aloha Coach Tobias, awesome video. Thanks. Because everyone is unique it is key to work to optimize the mental side of your game. I always experiment to discover ways to control flow and arousal. Mastering one's energy or chi is vital to badminton success. Your tips are a blueprint to attain positive vibes and control. Appreciate you focusing on this aspect of the game. Take care and stay safe. Looking forward to more.
The doubles tip sounds so simple but it really makes a whole lot of difference if ur teammate still encourages u despite missing a shot. Another great video!! :-)

Hi Tobi, I am Phil. I have been watching your video about 7 advice for mental toughbess in badminton. Could you explain me how can the badminton player defend a smash lifting the birdie very high . I greatly appreciate if you explain it with video. Thank you
Try to use breaks consciously in the training. Take yourself a short break in between rallies to relax a few seconds and then refocus and think about what you want to do in this training sessions. Same like in a match, you cannot be focused for a long period without breaks so give yourself those breaks
Hey. Have you already seen that tutorial? That could maybe help you. In addition to that try also to look at the shuttle when you hit it. A lot of players tend to look away too early and that can also make it more difficult to hit in the sweet spot.
Different possibilites to increase speed: Better Footwork (maybe have a look at tutorials like that: ruclips.net/video/mWK76ZDDFZQ/видео.html), More power and explosivness in the legs (mainly through weighttraining) and better anticipation skills (Here something about that: ruclips.net/video/PGwrspAkO0E/видео.html)
Thank you so much sir.. literally this helped me stay motivated ❤️ but i have a suggestion please make the wordings of your speech available on screen since thr background music is breaking your voice
I think here advice nr 2 is key. So try to structure your routine in between rallies, with a reaction after the rally and that can also be shouting or being angry but then find a way to refocus for the next rally
A half decent player, like yourself , should have several rackets, even different types, head heavy/balanced etc,, good players would have his rackets all identical with same weight , and string pressure

@@tobiaswadenka8435 thank you sir you have already mentioned it in the new Video. 😊😊
Hello Tobias Sir could you tell us which rackets are best for both attack and defense
This is something very individual so I can just recommend to test a few different models and see what works best for you.
@@tobiaswadenka8435 could you tell us I'm intermediate level in badminton
Hey Tobi, do u have any drills or tips to hit the sweet spot more? Or like improving your hand eye coordination?
Hey. Have you already seen that tutorial? That could maybe help you. In addition to that try also to look at the shuttle when you hit it. A lot of players tend to look away too early and that can also make it more difficult to hit in the sweet spot.

Tobias I tend to feel angry on myself after making a mistake this prevents from being in a flow. What should I do?

what string and string tension do you use ?
Yonex Aerobite and 13kg
@@tobiaswadenka8435 Is this better than Ultimatax 66? I really like this string. 🤔
(whoa, 28lbs is too much for me though)
I am Lee Chong Wei, I am here to take some notes.
When will you post new video?
Sorry it takes a little at the moment because I am working on a few bigger videos ;)
A half decent player, like yourself , should have several rackets, even different types, head heavy/balanced etc,, good players would have his rackets all identical with same weight , and string pressure
Breaking my Opponents rythm? Easy, i usually opt for 2-3 bathroombreaks per Game
I enjoy doing swear words all the time.
Than make sure the umpire can't hear it XD
