- Titleist have just released their brand new TS Project Woods. Including the Titleist TS2 and Titleist TS3 Drivers. I’ve been lucky enough to put the drivers head to head on Trackman. Test them against my current Taylormade M3 and get fitted into a brand new Titleist Driver. What is the difference? What’s the new technology in the new heads? I go in depth with Nick the Titleist fitter and find out just why these clubs are causing such a stir both on the PGA Tour and European Tour.

This was a great video. Titleist have stepped their game up to the old days. The changes that you can make are amazing!
I was just fitted by a titleist rep. TS2 10.5 C4 Setting, 44.5" Fujikura Speeder Tour Spec 74, +2 Gram weight. 18 yards carry and much higher straighter flight with great spin numbers. I place the order tomorrow.

James, I have just built me a Titleist TS3 driver! I found the best setting for me was also the D2 position? So, 7.75* loft, 60* upright lie, 48" tensei orange ck pro TX shaft, with a jumbo ultralite grip! Now all I need is SUMMER!!!!

I can't wait to try these out. Pretty good review, I like how you talk about what you feel rather than a ton of numbers. That what it comes down to for us average golfers, feel, confidence, and the ability to hit it straight.
James, what a great video. You covered every aspect of the fitting and the features of both drivers. I have just tried the T2 Driver with Fujikura Speeder 40 gram shaft. I loved the feel, distance and spin rate that it produced. I now need to compare those numbers to my Ping G400 to see if I am getting more clubhead speed and distance. Thanks again for your amazing video's.

Fabulous review. I bought the TS2 and set it for A2 for more draw to assist my fade, and occasional slice.
Bought the Ventus Black Velocore shaft to replace the Evenflow White T1100 for my TS3 driver but ended up getting better results with the EvenflowWhite T1100. Great shaft offerings by Titleist!!
I think seeing guys like JT and other PGA guys put it in straight away speaks to how good the driver is. Same when how G400 went in many bags as soon as they could. Never been a Titleist guy but I am probably going to give these a go.

Honestly I never see a big difference between most drivers out there from a performance standpoint. All brands have the same performance in a different package. It’s all about preference and marketing.
i am so glad i waited on buying an M3 driver. I was hoping against hope that Titleist was finally going to go all in on distance without sacrificing everything i love about Titleist. It looks like they pulled it off. Can't wait to get my hands on one. I'll go in with an open mind but i think the TS3 is going in my bag this fall.

Got fitted by Titleist at one of their Thursday events. No longer than my TM 2016 M1, a bit more consistent on off centre hits but not worth £500 unfortunately (and I love Titleist kit!)

Lucky neither sponsor you. Which will you choose? Great fitting experience. If I could get off my crutches the 2 would be in my bag. How do the fairway and hybrids go? Son just gou the 790 irons fitted. He needs these woods so info would be useful.

I'm looking at changing from my 2016 M1 into one of the new Titleist drivers. The closest Titleist dealer can fit me but they don't have track an, etc. Do you think getting fitted with a trackman is a must! Thanks and keep making the great videos.

I think if you were properly fitted into a TM or Callaway all big drivers would give you around the same distances. It would come down to consistency of the shots for me.

Hi James, I just purchased a new a titleist TS2 online as I got a very nice discount on it. I choosed the 50 gram stiff Mitsubishi shaft but many people say it will be too light for me ( I’m pretty much new to golf, so I hope you could help me out). Thanks!

The club is 1/2 inch longer. Almost all professionals on tour use 44.50 to 45.00 in. drivers to hit more fairways. Your swing plane is flat. Shorter shaft needed. Most golfers are going to be fitted in shorted shafts. The driver head weight will have to be altered on a custom fit. New customers are going to be fooled by the longer length increasing distance. You still need mass to increase MOI. The stock heads will be too light. Beware of setting higher lie angles. Swingweight will decrease. I really want to spend $750 for new driver for 5 yards. All the new driver's have same COR at max.limits. None of the tour players have won with it yet! Question: Why do all the English teaching professionals use an early wrist set to manipulate club face & shorten backswing width. Is this a standard teaching concept?
