Final Fantasy 13 - The Superbosses, Long Gui & Vercingetorix - Mark 64 - Postgame Finale

- Finally after fighting our way through mark after mark, we end up at the final battle, but before that happens and we tackle the games two superbosses, we farm up some dark matter from the newly spawned Shaolong Gui for the ultimate gearing.
We then take on the Shaolong Gui's bigger brother using an interesting strategy picked up from youtube, with a summon incapacitating the larger foe we deal the damage using Vanille's death spell and within one stagger aim to take off over 15 million HP.
Then its on to the final challenge, the Doom Herald, Vercingetorix, with all our opponents fielding one hit kill attacks, we take it slow and attempt to take down the fiercest opponent of all and clear Pulse off the last powerful Cie'th.

I like how Vercingetorix attacks the way he swirls around is just beast, I miss playing this game on xbox360 this was one of my favorite final fantasy game
Never forgetting the first time i opend the case and saw 3 Cds
I remember I mastered this game around 2012, now I watch and I can't remember anything other than I was farming those super turtles a lot!
This trilogy deserves a remaster

You can do marathon on FF13, FF13-2, and FF13 LR. That can take you 300 - 500 hours at least for watching the walk-though and playing the games to 100% again.

@@gonext3395 I spent like 150 hours on it and still can't get Elementaga fully upgraded, but at least I have all 3 difficulty completed with all bosses 5 stars. Personally I like FF13 best because you get to use all the characters and you can cast haste onto everyone proactively. Then comes FF13-2 and LR with all the DLC to get the full experience.

I kept farming adamantoises on the Leviathan Plaza in Edenhall like a circle.....[hit the weak enemies to refill summon gauge and respawn the turtle for Platinum ingots and Ultima crafting]
If only you would of made this video back then. I remember it took me 3 and a half hours to beat vercingetorix. Thanks for the memories.

Yo Oliz, if you're ever stuck for games to Let's Play I'd highly recommend Dragon's Dogma. It's a really nice fun game and has plenty of room for variety in playstyles which makes it very entertaining to watch.
I'm also looking forward to the continuation of the ME series.

No, but every weapon must be upgraded to tier two, then have one ultimate weapon for each character. Then every item has to be upgraded to its fullest too, one that catches people out is the Champion's Badge in Eden

Vercingetorix, I didn't use poison. Damn he was such a git to defeat. But when I did its like the biggest relief ever
I made the (rather stupid...) mistake of fighting a Adamantoise on my first trek on Grand Pulse. I lasted about 5 seconds...
There is still going to be an HD remastered version!? Oh my god thats awesome!

I'm replaying the game just wondering how you get 100k exp from it. Even with the growth egg i only get 80k, did they nerfed it or i'm missing something ?

The stupidest thing I've done was farm 2mil in chapter 13, buy a few components to upgrade my weps, farm another 2mil, format my ps3 without cloud saving and lose it all. Man that pissed me off.
Toru Koroshi i once overwrote the Late Game content ff vii savegame of my best friend with my cd 2 savegame. No copy available. Loosing a savegame sucks :-/

Yeah, it is a giant pain in the butt lol, but I wanted the 100%, you then get Serah as a gamerpic too :)

And what locks you and the opponent(s) is the camera moving at the start of battle.
I think they move depending on an enemy or boss, but most normal enemies, it is random.
i hope in the far future we will be seeing a lets play of the newly announced ffxiii Lightning Returns

This was a great playthrough, Shame it's over. Also if you stick with Final Fantasy I wouldn't mind seeing a FFX playthrough, FFX is my favorite game in the franchise.

This was an AMAZING walkthrough, have you ever had any thought's on doing a Dark Souls (or well I guess Dark Souls 2 when it comes out) or Disgaea (on second thought based on how long and arduous it would be maybe not). Lets plays?

FF XIII Superbosses are fucking ridiculous. Like, they are extremely easy compared to the superbosses on other series

This game had the worst superbosses.
You'd think it needs a unique approach or refined mechanics but they really don't.
It's just so scripted. Even if you do LongGui normally.
