Today I bring you a highly requested product/brand review! I have been receiving so many questions about this particular brand and I’m sure it’s due to the fact that they have been advertising so heavily on Instagram. So you know that I had to buy it and put it to the test.

I’m SO GLAD to see a real and actually honest review about this brand! I will give it to them, they have NAILED the shade match accuracy to a T!! Truthfully better than any other brand to be honest! However that being said lol I will definitely not be trying it out! A hard pass!

This is exactly what I wanted to comment about and leave my appreciation for. She’s beautiful but she does naturally have a darker under eye area so this review is especially about the concealer is so much more helpful for us. I’ve always had dark under eyes and as I get older they seem to be getting worse and not as easily hidden since my skin isn’t as smooth in that area and just absorbs makeup a different way 😢 What good is a review on concentration and under eye makeup application from someone who could probably skip that step all together?! And finally someone says what has always made sense to me. I just seem to have a more seamless look when I use concealer closer to my skin color. And call me crazy but I use a little bit of blush and that method seems to draw less attention to them then concealer that is a shade lighter than my skin. But anyway…really appreciate RUclipsrs like this ❤
You seemed surprised that the primer and foundation didn't come out on your first pumps. That's a safety measure so that product isn't lost and doesn't leak in shipping. It's a good thing for them to take a few pumps to release.

I was only 2 minutes into watching and I want to give you a fair shake on your review. I've been using Il Makiage for 3+ years now and I love it. I have colors to match for the season of being lighter all the way up to my tanning and fading and my daughter has used one of my lighter shades. I even use a dark shade concealor to take care of my dark circles first then my foundation and the a concealor to brighten up under my eyes. I love this and now I'm going to get back to your review. Thank you
Maybe you can advise me.. I used the color 120 in the summer and now I need sth lighter. Maybe 2 shades lighter?

That’s so strange! I’ve been using the concealer for about 10 months and works perfectly for me. I’m in my 60s and you can’t see my under eye lines... I don’t set it though, and it lasts on me about 7-8 hours. 🤔

I wish I would’ve seen this video before I purchased this concealer and the foundation😞😩 It didn’t work for me at all. I tried to send it back but COVID made it a little difficult so they offered me a discount to purchase something else but I declined. It’s not for mature skin... thank you so much for another great video!!! 💕

Thank you for your review. I’m not a big makeup user but this product intrigued me. I checked the better business bureau and tons of bad reviews about being charged and charged even when people changed their Visas and everything. It’s a product I’d love to try, but I won’t be signing my billing info to the website. If I can get it from another store I will def give it a try cause the foundation was quite lovely on you🌸
I know this video is old but I’ve been searching for someone who didn’t enjoy this foundation because I thought I was crazy and something was wrong with me that everyone liked it and I hated it! With primer and Laura mercier setting powder, it creased only me within a half hour. My smile lines instantly lost the foundation on them and looked so bad 😩

Good review. I just got the product yesterday and you verified everything I think so far. The lines around my mouth seem accentuated and the concealer didn’t do much for me. I like the foundation, the color is spot on, but I get as good results with Joah, which is a drug store foundation for less than half the cost. I also get lots of compliments about my skin with the Joah. Now, I’m no spring chicken! I’m 77 years old but fortunately I have really good skin, thanks to my Italian mother, I’ve got to take all that into consideration. I want perfect skin. I’m used to perfect skin. And I’m not liking the smile lines. Other than that, I think the finish is pretty but my Joah is prettier.
Will you consider doing another review of this foundation but using a primer that you already know and like? Thank you for all your hard work on videos like this, I appreciate you!
I use the woke up like this foundation you should try that. I love this make up so light it's like not wearing anything. I don't use any powder on my face with this cause that does seem to make the fine lines show up.
what concealer is best to really cover and fill in under eye creases? seems like they all seperate and enhance under eye wrinkles?
I checked reviews and then decided to brought. It is wonderful.
I have been using this foundation for over a year and I like the color match. I would even say that I like the foundation. I’m lighter in winter so I have two different colors. I actually don’t care for the concealer either. The makeup definitely creases. So what I started doing that does make some difference is, I use the lighter color that I have as a concealer. That’s helps. I’m still wanting to find a foundation that doesn’t crease though.

Well IF you pick out the correct photos on the test than its not hard at all when you have a bunch of skin shade and tone photos to choose from..With that said if you receive the wrong shade its pretty much the custimers fault for not being accurate😊
Well I appreciate the video I think people are looking for doll face perfection! I just received the entire product kit and tried it today I felt like it covered great and it was light like I didn't have make up on. I think with the things that we do in the environments that we're in looking for perfect coverage looking for it to cover up your flaws i.e. lines around the mouth etc. is to Hollywood I think you need to embrace what you have. Also I have tried tons and tons of different makeup brands and not one of them has ever met 100% of someone's needs we all have flaws so rather than trying to cover them why don't you try and embrace them and say hey look I got Four hours out of it and I didn't have to touch it it's per if that's what you're looking for that's wonderful however if you had to touch up your make up four hours in to have that baby doll look that you're looking for then do it. This brand is 110% worth a try

I took the quiz and it recommended same shade as you but a 3.5 in concealer. So I’m curious to see if I order it if it will work. I usually use Mary Kay products. But the ads are so tempting. 😂

I have found NO concealer or foundation that doesn’t accentuate my lines.. this foundation looked okay though on you 🤔 maybe i have very low standards
I have mature skin and dry skin at the same time so yes I had the same problems you have. But I’ve read somewhere with dry skin, you have to do multiple layers of applying moisturizer. So I’ve tried it with 3 layers of moisturizing. And very very little dusting of Laura Mercier under your eyes bc too much of the powder will accentuate the lines. Trust me I’ve gone through it and it’s not a pretty sight. Lol. But this actually worked.

Thank god there is an honest person. I’m sick of hearing I wouldn’t recommend anything I wouldn’t buy and I wouldn’t have them as sponsors if I didn’t believe in what they were selling! as soon as I hear shit like that I tune out I won’t ever sub, bc then I know their going to lie for everything and all for money. Not everyone has 45 dollars to waste on a foundation that isn’t gonna do anything for them, not everyone has $125 to waste on 3 products just to be disappointed and then have trouble getting their money back after the 14 day free trial expires. Read the fine print they charge your card in full and can hold that money until you send the stuff back, nothings truly free in life.

I liked the foundation but I could not get the right shade match it looked good when I first put it on then I went outside and it was way too dark so they sent me another one but that one was way too white so I eventually just gave up as for the concealer I personally hated it😫

I just got mine today! My concealer really felt light like it doesn’t have enough product in the bottle 🥺 I don’t know if it should be like that?
I personally didn’t like the foundation so i returned it I tried it for a week and well it’s not for me 🤷🏻♀️
I know you said, after applying the foundation, that it wasn’t exactly full coverage. However, this company, as you know, claims that it is.
I also noticed that while it did provide good coverage for most areas of your face, I could still see some dark circles and it also didn’t cover up the beauty mark on your right cheek.
For a product that claims to be full coverage, I can see that it’s not full coverage. Don’t get me wrong, it does a good job but it’s not as the manufacturer claims. And considering how expensive their products are, I just expected more. Perhaps I’m expecting more than any product can deliver, but I was expecting it to live up to the manufacturer’s claim.
One more thing, I would think any product that claims to be full coverage wouldn’t require yet another product to achieve full coverage. Even the combination of both, while it helps a little, falls short of expectations.

best makeup review!!! I had problems at check out and figure I would try later. Something told me to wait and now I know why! I am sooo glad I found this first! Definitely gonna pass!!
I did side by side half face neutragena and half face il makiage. My neutragena was better. Way cheaper. $14. The concealer was trash for what it costs. It’s thin and does wear off and crease for sure. They matched the color perfectly 👌 but what’s the point if it’s not that great of a product for 80-90 dollars for the set 😧 i actually use NYX concealer and its like 6 bucks and way better than this one (which is $36!!!)
I found it oxidized really badly. The concealer is horrible. The foundation causes cystic acne on me and turns orange also breaks up if you have oily skin. I expected more for what I spent. Clinique is far superior for the similar price range.
What shade number is the foundation you used ?
I hate their foundation but I love their concealer! It’s the only one that doesn’t crease! And I NEVER set my concealer either. It just does so well on it own and the match is great for me.

I was sent #60 and i found kt had too much of an orange/yellow tinge. Theyre sendjng me a #130. Im hoping itll be better.

My problem isn’t dark circles as much as texture lines and dryness under my eyes! I can’t wear concealer I swear I feel like I have tried everything in the world concealer just does not blend on me!

I just received mine today and I tried it. As usual it was a no go for me. Not only did it not cover anything but it was also not the right shade. Made me look super pale and sick. Can't ever find a good match for me. Super frustrating.
