We have a lot of these fake students working at my company. They enrol in fake schools and then perform cheap labour and it helps companies keep wages low.

Biggest problem is that international students can bring their spouse.parents and siblings on visitor visa while they are on study permits.many international students bring their spouse over started having kids while they are on work permits or study permits.

this is actually massive scam that has been perpetrated by Indians (Punjabis and Gujratis predominantly) in collusion with govtt officials. I am an east Indian myself, in India there are open advertisements in newspapers about IELTS marriages (type of contract marriage), where a girl who would score just enough IELTS score to get admission into one of these fake colleges and bring any random guy (generally local goons, scamsters, terrorists, or persons on no other social value) on a spousal visa. As an agreement, the guys family who pays for her tuition and the guy openly works in Canada racking up the Canadian work experience in pursuit of Canadian PR.
If the PR doesn't work out PGWP way, student has an option to buy LMIA for $40-50k (Labor Market Impact Assessment, another biggest immigration SCAM, where any local business would advertise for a Supervisor/Manager position with no intention to actually hire from Canada. Later claiming that they could not find person of this qualifications in Canada, this business owner then bring the person from outside of Canada on fake payrolls (buyer pays for his own payslips), until the person can get PR on express basis, as Supervisor/Manager level experience can get person higher points to expedite PR in 1-2 years).

I attend Niagara College in NOTL. The college is overrun with Indian students. They're ignorant, lazy, and rude. They're only there to get their citizenship. They don't participate in group projects. They're always late. They do nothing in class. I'm sick of it.

Let’s be real, international students come to Canada in hopes of eventually getting permanent residency and eventually a citizenship. Apparently an easier way than through regular immigration process.

Let their spouses and parents go back. Even the pgwp holder's family. We don't have adequate housing or proper health care to support their family. Canadians are suffering each day without a family doctor and have huge ER wait times. Inflation is an another issue.
Also, strict rules should come up for PR applications for post students. We dont need drivers or kfc chicken fryers. We need skilled migrants to cover our needs like doctors, nurses, engineers, trdes, teachers.
Canadian students can work in these restaurants, as part time during their studies.Thats another way to solve the issue.
We want to get rid of all the bad things that happened in previous years and want to have a federal election soon.

As long as they can pay for it, thing is just as you mentioned the main issue is employers deciding for cheap labor rather than for skilled both nationals or immigrants. This tackles some part of the main issue.

Tuition for domestic students is going to skyrocket. Intl students subsidize
much of the costs of universities. It is good to go after the puppy mill schools but preventing actual universities from recruiting would mean that the shortfall of funds have to be met somewhere and it most likely isnt going to be from the government. If sarah is paying 5000 a semester and xin is paying 20,000 but xin is not allowed to enroll guess who the other 15000 is going to fall on. 20,000 is also on the very low end. Reactionary racists may rejoice but you're shooting your own foot.
