So brave of you to talk about your mental health issues. Its really wonderfull that your so honest. A lovely lovely episode. Fair winds you fabulous chaps
What a great episode... I can see why the world loves you two... About as real as it gets... Decent people are sometimes hard to find. You two are gems...
Hey Luke, what a man to speak about your self harm. My greatest respect to you. Your journey to deal with mental health is far greater than the one you and Adam are currently on. To be where you are now is amazing and I am sure you speaking about it will help other people realise, things will get better. Wonderful episode guys.
Thank you for sharing your story about your scars Luke! So brave of you! You're an inspiration to others going through their own challenges & lets them see that they too can get through it! ❤
You're a couple of really good guys. Down to earth, living out your dreams and inspiring others to do the same. Such a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of other sailing channels. You deserve a wider audience and no doubt this will increase in time. PS- I bet you miss Morrisons doughnuts! They are very good.
Awesome to see you both open up about past and present Mental health. It's been interesting to see Luke, in particular, manage the challenges over the years. Hopefully your voyages and story inspire others who have similar challenges to know they don't have to be a restriction, Keep sailing and inspiring.

Hi guys. This is Cher. I'm using my hubbys phone that's why his name Lester shows up. Hi guys. My husband and I watch every episode. We love you guys and admire how far you have come! First off: PLEASE WEAR SUNSCREEN, NO MATTER WHAT. Skin cancer is no joke. Take it from a 63 year old red head who never listened to my parents and NEVER wore sun screen...now I do...better late than never, I guess. Second: who is the older brother? Third: John, PLEASE don't ever feel ashamed of your past situations! I'm so proud of you for being honest and telling all of social media that you self harmed in order to "cope". I can only imagine what you went thru! Kudos to you for even telling us. Be proud of yourself for overcoming it! Keep doing what you enjoy guys. We love you❤
We recently have been swearing sunscreen well I have anyway Adam and hats. We saw this guy in a doctors where I has an appointment and he had terrible skin cancer on his head 😕. Me Adam is the older brother. Thank you for the message we really appreciate it 😌
Some great honest answers guys. Luke you have no idea how far you’ve come in life. Your confidence is amazing and the dark days are way behind you. Adam your the best support mechanism a brother can have. So proud of you both. 👍👏👏👏
You guys are just a breath of fresh air. Honest, open, and an inspiration to all young people, who want to explore the world. The Q&A session was great. Stay safe.
Fantastic Q and A guys really informative. I loved the answer to the female company question....tbh I have noticed on the odd occasion when you've been ashore for a while Adam does occasionally look worn out like an empty sleeping bag.....😂
That was great guys. Just regular chaps sailing around the world. I nearly began to fill up when you mentioned your MH. You'll get me into trouble. I want to go now.😊
I watched some how to vids on RUclips and just went and did it, but of course I have been watching sailing videos for like a decade now and that really did help
Your problem with creaks & pots making a noise. When I did the Arc in 2013 the skipper had been across 4 or 5 times & his method was to open a noisy cupboard & pack a tea towel or small towel in between the pots & pans. It seemed to work quite well but sometimes difficult to find the tea towel for the drying up! I personally don't have a problem & can sleep anywhere. Good Q & A video, very interesting. Happy sailing!!
Great episode and you are truly inspirational with your honesty. Personally I have never suffered with mental health but I know that talking is the best thing. I think you two are kings and make wales proud
Repeating noises drove me nuts for years until I found an app called white noise, it has various sounds, my favorite one is called Brown noise, a low frequency one. I play it from an old phone through cheap sponged head ear phones, I imagine, rain, wind, beach surf sound, it has worked a treat, it de tunes your noggin from outside. Sometimes I play it through a smart speaker when I’m reading, give it a go. Grab bag, spare clothes, med kit, fishing stuff, extra food, hole in the raft, sun cream, hats. If you hit a container you go down in under a minute. Crazy not to have one
