Ed is one of the good guys in Rock and Roll. Actually an American Rock Icon that gets overlooked too much. Allen Collins is another Icon that also gets overlooked. Ed got out in time and is leading a happy life but poor Allen was beset by numerous tragedies that extinguished this brilliant young talent much too early. Rock on Ed!!! Rock the Heavens Allen!!

Plays well with others - this was also a classic with the embellishment of the "Honkettes!" Back-up singers also adding much to the Skynyrd stage presence

I had always thought that Ed should have joined Bad Company after leaving Skynyrd. Mick and Ed’s songs with Paul Rodgers could have been something good.
