- Dunkin Donuts Goes Vegan with Beyond Meat Sausage. Today we visit Dunkin Donuts to try their new vegan option, the Beyond Meat Sausage Sandwich. I'm joined by Jae with A Vegan And Her as we go to Dunkin Donuts and put the Beyond Meat Sausage Sandwich to the test. It's amazing to see places like Dunkin Donuts now serving vegan options by teaming up with companies like Beyond Meat. Jae decided to kick this vegan sausage sandwich up a notch by adding some of his signature hacks that you'll love. To keep this Dunkin Donuts Beyond Meat sausage sandwich vegan, just order with no eggs and no cheese. The hacks that Jae used you can find at Dunkin Donuts. I'd be a lot more excited if it was a tofu scramble + beyond sausage sandwich. Maybe I expect too much, though.
I was thinking it would probably be good with a tofu "egg" cut into the shape of the patty to go inside the sandwich.

Hi mescyn! It would be great to see tofu scramble as an option. Just having vegan sausage as an option at Dunkin Donuts is amazing to see. I think we will eventually have more options. I think they are targeting people who still eat meat with the current options available.

I just tried it today. Not bad. Slightly spicy. It definitely tasted like sausage and did not have the Beyond Meat type of taste, which is a good thing. It was even better with ketchup and hash browns.

Update: I went by Dunkin on a Monday and they were sold out! It must be doing well here.

thanks for the heads up on the toppings they use. my husband was being nice and got me a ''vegan'' whopper but didn't realize that it comes with mayo (allergic to eggs) and it was interesting to cut off and eliminate all the parts with mayo so when we went to BK we brought our own vegenaise and my own fermented pickles to put on our mayo-less sandwiches (they are definitely better hot/fresh). so we'll probably try the ''dunkin beyond sausage sandwich'' at least once just to support the sales as we did with burger king and bring our on condiments.
