I have played hockey for 29 years, I am watching this with my 10 year old, I understand these systems but I don’t think a lot of it was ever explained to me, I just learned and picked it up playing. Now my kid is finally playing full ice hockey and his coaches don’t teach this stuff but expect them to understand figure of speech sayings or systems of offensive play. They don’t, it needs to be explained, even these videos I have to explain it a little more to my kid because their brain is getting lost on words like “release valve”
Thank you I love the videos!

Great stuff, thanks for getting into the weeds with different situations.

On defence you want to shrink the rink (start by cutting it in half).
On offence stretch the rink (East/West & North/South)

F3 should be above their Fs

Would you like to know what percentage of kids you just completely lost on this? Seriously it’s gross how many kids under 16 can barely make a sentence.
