I'm a fan of the behind the net option, or the bump as we call it. Most defenses stack the strong side, so moving to the weak opens up the point pass, and gets the opposition moving side to side, also opening up passing lanes. It's also easy to execute, if all your forwards understand that the puck is getting bumped whenever we gain possession behind the goal line, there is very little thinking involved. Conceptually, it's the same as moving behind your net D to D on the breakout; you're using the net to your advantage. Helps to have guys that love to battle for pucks!
