THE ORPHANED CHIODOS SONG
"I think it was probably one of the best-sounding songs we've ever created, considering the circumstances," recalls Chiodos keyboardist Bradley Bell of the much-debated, much-loved "missing" Chiodos song, "Thermacare." "We just did a demo of it that wasn't produced by any means," he says. "It wasn't perfect and the structure of it was a complete mess."
During the summer of 2009, the post-hardcore band were headlining Warped Tour and had begun writing material for the follow-up to their hit record, Bone Palace Ballet. Creative sessions among the band members were frustratingly slow due to internal strife, burnout from over-touring and ongoing conflicts with their lead singer, Craig Owens.
Chiodos reunited in 2012 and in this video played it for the first time in front of their hometown fans . It was an electric performance. The Flint area of Michigan was without a doubt suffering from withdrawls regarding Chiodos. They featured their original lineup and absolutly killed it. Thank god I happened to be shooting It Lies Within and caught two awesome performances of a lifetime. Something about getting to see bands like these in front of their home fans can not be duplicated. Cheers to Chiodos!!!!

Yeah. When Craig left Chiodos Craig took the lyrics and Chiodos kept the instrumental of this song. Chiodos used the instrumental on "Stratovolcano Mouth" and Craig used the lyrics on "The Only Thing You Talk About".

thermacare was written and recorded before the split up and they both had rights to parts of the song so they both took the song and made separate versions of it. Craig with DRUGS and the rest of chiodos with chiodos and the new vocalist. Glad they are all back now.
And chiodos wont play DRUGS songs or anything produced without craig in the band.
