- Have you made this recipe?😍 It became my most viral video of the year, and after seeing thousands of you recreate this Dahi Toast at home, I couldn't resist making it again, especially with my Masi, who originally shared this recipe!

Ingredients:
Curd - 1 Cup
Salt & Pepper - to Taste
Turmeric Pwd - 1/4th Tsp
Red Chilly Pwd - 1/2 Tsp
Ghee - 1 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp
Green Chilly - 1 no
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp
Bread - 5 Slices
Onion & Coriander - Garnish
Process :
* Start by whisking curd along with red chilly pwd, turmeric pwd, salt & pepper to taste
* Prepare a tadka by heating some ghee in a saucepan - add in some mustard seeds, green chilly & curry leaves
* Add prepared tadka to the dahi along with some chopped coriander & give it a mix
* Dip the bread in the curd mix & pan fry until golden brown & crisp on both sides
* Serve hot, garnish with sliced onions & coriander leaves & Enjoy 🍞♥️

I made this with the spoon of semolina, Greek yogurt and spread it with spoon (instead of dip) topped it with pickled onions and cottage cheese topped with chaat masala and it was the best thing ever.

Add tumeric powder(haldi) in tadka otherwise raw tumeric ki wajah se taste acha nahi ayega. Already tried and regretted so don't forget. :)
Maybe aapne turmeric jyada daal diya hoga....bcoz hum pakode mein bhi toh haldi vaise hi daalte hai.. 🤔

You tried to flip very early. Leave on low flame for some time. Once you place bread on a clean tawa do not disturb it for some time. Donot worry even if you feel it will burn.
Use mash potatoes with spice on one side and dahi batter on other
As per ayurved we cannot heat dahi ! So you should not eat often as heating dahi makes it toxic to the body..
