My favorite show of all time! Adrian Paul was perfection as the character Duncan. He’s gorgeous and so skillful with the accents. I was so saddened to learn that Stan Kirsch (Ritchie) recently committed suicide. I pray he is at peace.

I love, totally love the design and style of Tessa and Duncan's antique shop and the apartement they share. Almost 30 years since it first aired and it still looks stylish and cool if you walked into an antique shop that looked like that or visited a friends home styled like theirs you would think they have great taste, a very, very unappreciated aspect of this show.
Let me second that ! I was a kid when this aired in France and it totally contributed to shaping my tastes in terms of architecture, design and even fashion. To this day I still believe Duncan was very stylish
same, I luckily started my first business adventure a few months ago and used the antique store as a reference for what I wanted my studio to look like.
Oh Vanity, what a beautiful and talented woman you were. And gone too soon, sadly. Here's hoping that if there is an afterlife, it's better than here. Rest in peace, beautiful.
Her story is part of the reason I quit drinking. When youre young you never think about the damage done to your liver and kidneys. Sad story she was amazing, talented and beautiful. Total package.

Well to be honest. This episode gave me faith in female characters on the show who given a sword, didn't look and move like an idiot. I dont know if she ever had any formal training with a sword but what ever it is, she pulled off her character well enough that they filmed her in action. Beyond just looks, she could actually move. Great episode, great memories.
@@andrewlocke3389 What, are you saying those pirouettes aren't right out of the manuals? :D Nothing is more devastating to your opponent than showing them your back.
One of my fav episodes (and not why one might think, not that Vanity does not have nice eyes). The real reason this stuck with me was the revenge angle, that the apparent villain was actually someone trying to do something she thought was good -- and though Mac was the bad guy! And the real villain was behind the scenes. Any of the flashback eps are among my favorites, and while this one used it sparingly as a technique it really helped the story get told through the years. Vanity at this time overcame addiction to drugs and dedicated herself to helping others. RIP to a beautiful and true Good Samaritan.
Yeah, looked better without the addictions of her previous wild life...
Adrian Paul had the best job in the world on this show. He also portrayed it extremely well.
He was my choice to play Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies.
Perfect choice...if ever this was real, he would definitely be THE ONE!
I like him more than Christopher Lambert
You can really tell he loved the role. Making Highlander as TV Show was a great idea. The sequel movies...Two of them were good.
He should have been James Bond. Clearly had all the right attributes, looks, charisma, strong silent type with deadpan humor, action man etc.
