Hi, I do remember passing this mount on my 701E in September 2022, with my friend on his 250wrr. There was no snow, and not all those big block on track. But I remember how hard it was. You're very brave to have reached so high with that heavy T7. When I see you stopped and have the rear spinning to start, you may go back for half a meter and start again to pass the hole you dug with your rear. Also your front fork does not help you, T7 is known for that. Thanks for sharing 👍
that one was one of the hardest mountains roads in greece....that loose big rocks are the worst. but the view is amazing. tzoumerka and agrafa are very unique
Yup, that was amazing. I'm really sorry that I couldn't continue, I had only something like 100 meter to go. I stopped the camera because it's not really watertight anymore but the storm was really scary. On the descent rocks started to fall and some new and big waterfalls formed because of the heavy rain. I stopped at the cabin and waited there for the rain to stop.
Great work dude! It's incredible to see how much effort these climbs are on these heavy bikes. I think something like a himalayan with easy low torque would spare you a lot of energy and high revs. So very impressive how you've done it with this big boy!
Thanks! Yup, it's a lot of effort but I don't think a Himalayan would do much better. It's something like 200 kg, almost like the T7. I didn't use high revs and slipped the clutch, in those section the clutch was fully engaged. The fact was that the wheel was just spinning without much traction because of some slippery random rock and besides, T7 has plenty of torque low down. I think something lighter with a better tire and low psi (+ rim lock) could be ok or better skills. You need to keep the momentum with these big bikes, if you lose it they just dig holes instead of moving forward.
When did you try to pass? We tried in early July and it was as difficult as you see in the video. We reached until 12:28 but than we had to return because the weather was closing and the path was getting more and more difficult. It was me with a T7 and a friend with a V-storm. We found the path extremely difficult, although we are not highly skilled. I will upload a video soon in my channel.
Thank you. I know the lights look weird but they are cornering lights with a very wide cone of light. They activate based on how tight is the corner and in a corner the bike is leaned over. I was pretty happy with the standard lights on a straight road but in corners it's a guessing game so that's why they are positioned up and to the side. 😊
@@7782Bouras I have the Pocket 2 from 21 Brothers (21brothers.eu/produkt/pocket-2x-25l/) and I attached them to the top part of a Heavy Duties panniers rack that I cut the rack mounting part so now they are like reversed pillion handles. I wanted to buy the Adv Spec Side Luggage Rack but it was kinda expensive and I already had the rack. The bags are spacious but not really watertight, not great, not terrible but they are cheap. As for the tyres, I went two times in Greece this year, first time with a Continental TKC 80 on the front and Mitas E09 on the back but after 5000km the Mitas were almost done, I could use them on the street no problem but the knobs were pretty much done for. The second time I used the same tire on the front and I bought a Mitas E07 Trail (the one with bigger knobs) and they were fine. They took a beating but I can still use them in the trail.
@@trippymiki4096 thanks man a lot . You really fought your way to the top . Yesterday i rode a Tenere in a trail and i was impressed . Definitely my next bike .
@@trippymiki4096 July and still snow? wow. And in November it's snowing already on the mountains of Greece. Then it means Greece in mountain areas like these is only snow free for like 4 months
Good skills my friend, takes balls to tackle something like that on your own!
Outstanding effort! The familiar feeling of struggling around a corner for it to just keep getting worse!
Respect! I watched the full 22 minutes and was reading the terrain as if I was riding, haha. Very tough especially with the heavy Yamaha.
OMG! Got wet hands while watching your video! One of the hardest turn of T7 and a top rider! You are the champion! Thanks for sharing!

@@trippymiki4096You did a great job. Last summer I did a rally in Italië and France. Nice remambrance camera in my mind.

massive respect for that attempt!!!

Great effort, respect! Especially with those tires. Maybe next time some 50/50 tires would be better?!
Ωραίος τίτλος.

I went there in late June. Close to the top there was a tricky patch of snow that I couldn't pass. The rain started and it was getting too dangerous.
Good effort. Credit to you! 👍
Absolutely mad lad
Epic climb!
Is this the road from Theodoriana looks familiar to me
How do you mount on the bike with such big ball without hurting? Congratulations, very brave and skilled
To be honest I'm not all that brave, I'm just stubborn. 😅
Hard terrain for that bike bike. Strong men. ❤ Please put the additional lights in another way, the shine wherever but not in the road. 😅😅😅

@@trippymiki4096 oh thanks for the reply. Good, nice to hear that it works.. :-)
You are a crazy motherfather 😁👀
What a climb! Is that the small or large handlebarbag from enduristan?
It's rather small, you can put maybe two GoPros in it.

what bags you have and how you mounted it ?
and what tyres you have

Yup, I know but later in the year the bush fires start and I'm mostly wild camping
When it was this?
It was on the start of July 2023.
