Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the apex predator of the seas - a terrifying SHARK! Maneater is a single player, open world action RPG (ShaRkPG) where YOU are the shark. Starting as a small shark pup you are tasked with surviving the harsh world while eating your way up the ecosystem. To do this you will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies - both human and wildlife. Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate, because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.
Play through a full narrative, story-based campaign narrated by Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty, Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock) and set against the backdrop of a reality TV show.
Battle fierce wildlife including other apex predators or fight against various types of human hunters ranging from town drunks all the way up to the Coast Guard.
Feed on humans and wildlife to grow your shark, and find shark loot to evolve your shark down multiple possible paths.
7 large regions including bayous of the gulf coast, resort beaches, industrial docks, the open ocean and more. Experience a living world with a full day/night cycle.

Bone set is the best because you kinda just don’t die, ever.

I watched the video because I know everybody has to pay bills, but man, I hope this game gets any kind of update.
Dude you read my mind I really hope there’s a megalodon dlc where you gain the type of mass the megalodon was known for by eating prehistoric wild life.
Megalodon DLC sounds great but probably only usable outside few regions because more than half part of the map in the game are shallow water

yeah my friend showed me this game and i didnt really expect to love this that much.
Shadow is definitely my favorite set, as well as the easiest to obtain as you just have to find landmarks, meaning you can collect everything, then go kill things to build it up as well as obtain all the other sets.
The bone set is definitely my favorite, looks so damn cool, plus being damn near unkillable is a nice plus.
also i recommend the bone evolution with advanced sonar, hearty and brutal muscle because with brutal muscle you can move quicker and you will have a very good tail whip. Seriously trust me you'll never die to the hunters.

I did a mix playthrough with the Tiger Shark body, Electric Tail, Shadow Fins, Bone Head, and Bone Teeth. Worked quite well!

The bio set is is def the coolest looking set you literally change color to blend in with the surroundings if your in the swamp your like a green yellowish color if your in a really dark area you turn dark blue or black its cool and its impossible to get killed if you spam the evade because there is no stamina bar

@@ateeqazam3775 you get most, if not all, from finding all the landmarks which isn't really that hard to do
I prefer the bone fins. the barrel roll shreds boats and you are always evading to do the damage and to not take damage. Rest of the bone set is swapable if you do that. Ramming is not even needed with the single use of the bone fin.
I got all the electric and bone set in 3 days of playing

Bruh this game is so fun. I was surprised just how good it is. Just started out but I got the lightning teeth and bone teeth so far.
I was actually kinda disappointed when I became a mega I was expecting it to be bigger but then an orca comes along and grabs me in its mouth

I think the sequel should have an orca or a crocodile as the "hero" or some kind of land based water hybrid mutant think rampage but smaller

For those hearing about issues this game is happening. This is a small studio and the game LITERALLY just released.

Yes it actually is, games these days are so huge there's bound to be problems that will need to be fixed. I trust the dev team has spent too much time to let this just flop due to some fixable issues.
Having issues were peoples save files gets corrupted and they have to start over is pretty serious tho, I'm lvl 30, just got all sets, and I would probably drop the game completely if it happened to me, which would be sad because it is a really fun game, but I wouldn't do that grind again, at least not before it's fixed and there is potentially more stuff, like a bigger level cap and so on.

I bought the Apex edition because it was on sale and I’m enjoying the heck out of this game.
I hope there's dlc where you can get color pallets so mixed sets won't look as goofy.
So yesterday I sent my dad a picture of the game and said I will do anything I didn't get a response for an hour and out of nowhere he said "download it" I checked my library and I saw it I went nuts

Ha! Back when I was playing this, I had almost the exact same build as you by the time I had these upgrades, except I used the shadow tail. Having the shadow tail just for the extra mobility is really nice, and I can get in and out ramming boats more often. I don't really use the tail whip at all, so it was the best option for me.

This is cool, a good friend of mine is on the dev team that built this.
Is there a release date yet for switch?
I just use a mix of all of them, like, it's just the best idea, shadow tail because is the easiest thing to build poison damage with is really usefull, shadow teeeth cuz busted, fins, head and body are from the bone set for resistance and boat destroying. That's my usual Go2 when i wanna do hards stuff. Otherwise i use bio electric to look cool ( also the bone set is a giant reference to the lol )

The build I went with was poisonous torpedo
The bone set is the best hands down the other ones suck with bone set you dont ever die and you can destroy bounty hunters effortlessly and wild life can't even kill you either bone set is great for everything

How do you save on this game
It autosaves at certain points (randomly) and grotto visits
My very personal set:
Electric/shadow teeth
Shadow fins
Shadow body
Shadow tail
Shadow head (but I dont wear none when im not fighting bosses)
Never used the Bio-electric, mostly used Shadow, and then Bone for finishing the infamy. Game IMO is lacking with utilizing your size at the end, it still takes way to long to destroy ships and eat people,
you can literally spam dodge with lightning set and destroy everything with out even taking dmg

This is fun but tough
It's really easy man. Once you've upgraded your sonar, you're sorted. You can find every cache, landmark and licence plates with ease and then you can max out your shark and it's perks fairly early

Nope, stopped using the Logitech mic part way through Dragon's Dogma. Now I'm working with the Samson one

This game was cool, but way too small. There was maybe 6 different sea creature species in the whole game. It was essentially a really good mini game.
It can be bigger then 9 meters?
