WOW, you were up against it, but it goes to show if you're surrounded by awesome humans, they can get you through anything! YES to doing things how YOU want! We stuck to 40 for the entirety of our wedding, and it was important to us that our guests had options when it came to food, so we had our reception on a barge at our favourite restaurant and they had the full menu (and bar!) to choose from. LOVED the ice cream parlour shot! You looked absolutely stunning, and with the height difference, you could've easily shared joint pics of you & hubby, just with his head chopped off! 🤣 Congrats once more! 🥂

I truly don't think anyone would be bored watching this video lovely Meredith. It was fantastic hearing about everything . After a few very rough days your wedding day sounds absolutely fabulous. You looked stunningly beautiful in both your looks but then you always do. I had tears in my eyes when you talked about your wonderful father walking you down the 'aisle'. Just beautiful . I am not an only child but the only daughter ( I have 3 brothers) and I am a true daddy's girl even to this day. We have always been so incredibly close and even more so since my mum passed if that's possible. I am so much like my mum and he would love to have me by his side every minute of every day. Listening to you talk about your kids and their height made me think of my 2 gorgeous grand kids Mia and Niko.They are nearly as tall as me now and they are 6 and 8 years old. I am 5 ft 1 and half inches, the shortest in all my family by far. They say they can't wait until they can pat nanny on the head.🤣 Not long for that to happen I don't think. Thank you Autumn. I LOVE Dom, so for me it’s worth it, but it really depends on how much you like champagne. If it’s a one off thing and you usually don’t drink champagne, don’t waste the money. I always have a bottle in the fridge.

This idea that being a woman means you have to always be cloyingly sweet is just ridiculous and leads to the passive-aggressive mean girls rubbish. Openly calling it out is the way to go! Give people chances by all means but then call it out! (BTW that's the reason I don't usually like weddings...there are all the fights and intrigue and subtle messaging and exclusion etc. I hate it! Plus the idea of having my family together in the same place makes a trip to North Korea seem attractive. Aww I love this story! Thank you for sharing it with us. I loved hearing about the details and how much fun you had. (The 90s records!! The thongs - brilliant!!) It also brought up good memories as my own wedding was similar in many ways. We just wanted to throw a great party with good food and drink. We skipped most of the traditional stuff. I did have my dad escort me and we did a father-daughter dance. I cherish those memories and photos now, as we lost him unexpectedly last year. It's just as you said - you will keep those moments increasingly close to your heart in the years to come! ❤I'm glad you were finally able to have such a lovely, meaningful celebration with your soulmate. @@livingluxwithmeredith I find it refreshing that you don't bother with passive-aggressive rubbish. Just out with it and taking action. This idea that being a woman means you have to always be cloyingly sweet is just ridiculous and leads to the passive-aggressive mean girls rubbish. Openly calling it out is the way to go! Give people chances by all means but then call it out!
(BTW that's the reason I don't usually like weddings...there are all the fights and intrigue and subtle messaging and exclusion etc. I hate it! Plus the idea of having my family together in the same place makes a trip to North Korea seem attractive. In fact that's a great idea...the honeymoon destination after the actual wedding with my family. lol!. Not a fan of appearances for the sake of it).

Aww I love this story! Thank you for sharing it with us. I loved hearing about the details and how much fun you had. (The 90s records!! The thongs - brilliant!!) It also brought up good memories as my own wedding was similar in many ways. We just wanted to throw a great party with good food and drink. We skipped most of the traditional stuff. I did have my dad escort me and we did a father-daughter dance. I cherish those memories and photos now, as we lost him unexpectedly last year. It's just as you said - you will keep those moments increasingly close to your heart in the years to come! ❤I'm glad you were finally able to have such a lovely, meaningful celebration with your soulmate. It looked beautiful and like a total blast! 🎉
