Gwen is spectacular. Whenever she comes out to play in your videos I call her the Aurora bag because the colours put me in mind of aurora borealis, the Northern lights. I think our Southern lights are more pinky. Stunning collection.

Ha! I have never EVER met someone who had the same premonition as I do about buying things. If I see something and I love it and I CANNOT stop thinking about it then I know that the purchase is meant to be. So glad to know I am not the only one.

I bought the 18S in Blue same collection to the 18S Emerald green back in 2018 brand new through the purse affair consignment store in Melbourne for 4.7k AUD. I think that 18S collection that time sell for 4.1k AUD. It was the same year the 18S launch. I was kicking my self cause i have to paid over the retail. Now i look back. I am so glad i bought it. The caviar mini now selling over 10k AUD

even though the market has tanked, I'm not actually sure if you would have gotten the emerald green much cheaper, I think some of those unicorns will stay at high prices

I am biased towards your Birkins, they’re all gorgeous and the specs you choose are amazing. I have one Birkin and I’ve kept her mostly in her box, she is a her because she’s a touch of alligator, not quite full exotic to get a proper name, but she gets a gender 😂 Never thought I’d ever spend that much on a bag but she is me in a bag, my doppelgänger in bag form. I still think it’s awesome your husband didn’t hold back and said “what does she need to do to get a Birkin,” and now look at your growing collection 😊

There are problems with doing prices around when I bought it, where I bought it, the currency it was purchased in, tax (which is included in all Australian pricing), it all becomes problematic. When I do pricing people will generally criticise something about how I’ve done that pricing. It’s a no win situation.

I think the grey/purple Capucines was $70k, I think the pink croc Capucines was around $40k, the green Chanel mini was selling for around $17k usd when she bought it.
Pricing is hard as it changes country to country and sometimes even state to state

Loving collectionmas! Shocked that the Hermes clutch is more than quota bags! I wonder if the shiny croc finish is some kind of patent layer and if it'll become "sticky" over time?
It’s polished to make it shiny, so nothing is added to it.
Just curious why you would get a special order Birkin and a black exterior color? I love black, but I don’t think I would ever get a special order in black just too common into basic.
Because it’s what I wanted…..which is the point of a SO, to get exactly what you want. But when you get a SO offer, you do what you want.

I am not a collector by nature. I love handbags (since childhood) and I have a few including a Celine that was a few thousand dollars. I also am a big believer of do what makes you happy if you have the means. However, with now visually being able to see so much poverty, I live in Chicago and everywhere I turn there is homelessness, hunger, children living in dire conditions ... I am starting to just feel guilt over so many things, including buying and buying and buying especially things that seem to have ridiculous price tags. Do you ever feel the guilt? This is not a hater comment, I love your channel and I do and buy what I want for the most part, but I am struggling more and more to justify things. Any thoughts?
I think people need to remember that as much as someone might be ‘buying and buying and buying’ - behind closed doors they may also be helping charities and worthy causes TEN TIMES more. So no they shouldn’t feel guilt. If you work hard and have the means to buy things you love and help others at the same time, then why not.

Guilt based on how you feel independently is normal, guilt forced upon you by others is wrong. We all feel guilt about different things at different times. I feel guilt when I’m at work and not with my kids, but then when I’m with my kids I feel guilty I’m not at work. If we let guilt drive us we suck all the joy from our own lives. As long as you live within your means, are kind, give when you can and don’t force others to live your life or expectations……then enjoy what you have. You can’t save everyone else by depriving yourself of joy.
