This is so wonderful for me. I became disabled from an accident and cannot hike anymore so I go hiking with my eyes and you. When you think of things you don’t have then think of the things you can do. I still have my eyes, my hearing and my sense of smell. Thanks for talking me on this hike!
@@CityWalks your videos are always fantastic and I really enjoy your commentary - which helps to bring a sense of connection to the place for the viewer :)
A place full of happiness. Relaxing walk such a beautiful place thanks for the awesome tour have a great day my friend. Enjoyed so much I watched till the end. Like 9. Greetings from TTC
Thanks for the nice walk! We have a TV on the wall in front of our treadmill and I always search out videos to watch while walking or jogging. Hiking in the woods is our favorite when we are out and about, but when we are not our exploring, these videos are a great resource.
Hey! This is Brian from Patreon… we’ve messaged a couple of times. Just wanted to say how much I loved this video! I was struggling to find the will power to walk today, but thanks to you I got in a full hour! Amazing as always!! Thank you.
@@CityWalks I honestly love the mix of both! I love the healing power of nature, and I love being able to walk along and take it all in without the fear of falling! lol. But sometimes I like being adventurous and love the exploration in the other videos! It’s a great blend!!
Hi Henry. Only recently bought a treadmill so fairly new to your channel, and I must say a big thank you to you. I have done quite a few of your virtual walks, both city and parkland and find they really make me want to get up walk. One very slight negative if I may. I am in my 80s and my balance probably isn't what it should be, I do find that when on the treadmill and walking a trail or street when the camera suddenly pans left and right off the trail it can be very disconcerting. None the less, I just love these walks. Keep up the good work, and thank you
Hi Bob, so glad you are getting some value out of these things. You are certainly not the first person to comment on the swift camera pans. I try to be conscious of slowing those down but I often forget in my excitement to show things. I will try to pay better attention. Thanks for the reminder. Keep on steppin’ - H
Loved your last Hyalite Reservoir walk, and this one as well! What beautiful place. I was laughing out loud at that happy black dog scampering around near the beginning, and the bald eagle was an extra special treat! 🙂
HiPam. Yes, the dog was certainly happy to be out and about. I think he was extra happy to be rolling in whatever stinky pile he was rolling in. :-). It certainly is a beautiful area and I’m so glad you are enjoying the walks. - H
Hi Nancy, just head out of town South on 19th, go around a bend and then take a left towards Hyalite Reservoir at the sign. It takes about 5 minutes from Main street to get to the turn off and another 15 or so to follow the paved but windy road up to the reservoir. Hope that helps.
I try to maintain a pace for cardio/weight loss on the treadmill … when you stop to look at tiny details the virtual immersion is lost … please keep moving.
Mother Nature is so beautiful
Indeed. - H

@@CityWalks "Stinky pile?" Hmmm, maybe it's just as well you don't have a dog that you bring with you. 🙂
Need to do a walking tour of Lexington Kentucky..
