Anything that can hit through blocks, i.e. Normal Punch, Uppercut, Flowing Water, Hunter’s Grasp, etc. are *really good* against passive players (that aren’t moving nearly as much as they are blocking). Side dash up to them, immediately pull one of these moves *instead* of immediately using m1’s, and you got yourself a combo started. Coming from a somewhat passive player, I want to emphasize LordHeaven’s tips on making weird movements since we like to predict your movements. Front dash but spin in a real small loop or something in the middle of it, they’ll think you’re going for their back or something but nah you’re just doing a normal front dash but ✨ciRClE✨, kinda like how some roller coasters are just going in the same direction even though they have a loop. Keep a close distance, but not literally right up to them. Also, sKiBidi DaSH, it’s really good.

I counter passive players by playing passive adapting and then just steal their moves (copying them) it works because when they get close I play aggressive

Can you make a video about adaptive players? Because I'm an adaptive playey. (If you don't know what that is. It's basically at the beginning you play very bad you can lose like to a 300 kills guy but after a few rounds you can kill like 30k players. That ever happened to me.)
A lot of these methods for countering Passive players won't work if they know how to adapt. For one, if your opponent sees you use Front dash while they are holding block, they can just dodge with backdash/side dash/ If they see you hook dash, they can either side dash behind you, or just backdash away. (Hook dash is shown #2:32 ) . A lot of passive players won't do Pre-Block unless fully confident they can block you, most Passive players can just track you without pre-blocking because they have good reaction time. Or of course! Back dash away. The backdash cancel + Shove is extremely unreliable because you can just Backdash/Sidedash away from it. The thing is, with these methods, you'd die easily to any Passive players with actual braincells. And another thing for the Sonic counter, not all Sonic users use Ragdoll cancel directly after a move, because some Sonic users actually know how to play.
