as a viewer when deciding to watch a video i look at the thumbnail first then title then who posted it if i don't like the thumbnail i won't even read the title or check who posted it (tho sometimes i see who posted it first if i really know the channel), so when i see your face and interesting title it makes me wanna watch more but if it's just a popular face or generic thumbnail everyone uses i don't really wanna watch unless the title is super catchy and shows me what i'll get
That's a great insight!
Dude we look at your face and then click, because we know you the content creator. Also the title within the thumbnail was interesting to me.
Thank you :)
I watch your videos because I love the video topics.
Thanks you!
I'm kinda dissapointed it doesn't show CTR test, watchtime is very different. It is useful, but CTR comparison should be there too.
The only correlation between thumbnail and video watchtime I could imagine- if thumbnail is "clickbait" or not.
If it is - people probably just gonna leave video as soon as they realize that, destroying your analytics and video in a long term.
P.s. Looking back at your thumbernail - I think it's better because of few things:
- your face attracts more "loyal" viewers (subs or just people who watched you before)
- it looks more professional, making that good first impression
- it's just clean and you can see what it's about just based on the image, while on others it's kinda mess
But that's just my assumptions
Nicely pointed out :)
It's really a great feature ig
Indeed!
Awesome
Thanks!
