Lion Rock Hike: from Wong Tai Sin and back

- If there's one hike you must do in Hong Kong, it's the Lion Rock hike. It's the most distinctive mountain in Kowloon with an almost 360-degree panorama of Kowloon Peninsula all the way to Hong Kong Island and north towards Shatin as well. It's a popular sunset spot and great for night hikes - and here's my favourite way to hike it.

I went today but i took the left turn before the first staircase instead of going up via the road! It was scary! No steps/ stairs at all. Not sure if it is in fact one of the possible routes though 😧

If you go the same route I did, it should be around 3 hours, 4 if you want more breaks
