Another great video, thanks. Any chance you could do a new wash comparison that adds in the washes/shades from the Blanche set alongside marine juice and some of the old favourites?
What a treat! I’ve been itching to paint an Armageddon Steel Legion troop and strangely enough the Krieg models don’t do it for me for the aesthetic. That being said sweet paint job sir!
Wish I knew about the head swap before ai built 30 of them a head of the new box.cause honestly that looks so much better but. I used citadel glue so i aint messing with that
It really is crazy. I absolutely hate how they ruined the DK with the new helmet and gasmask design, but this just proves that it only takes a headship to fix them.
I've tried to explain...almost endlessly to the people who complain about painting, that colour primer is one of the best cheats you can use. For an average gamer-ready paintjob, you could have stopped halfway through this process and been fine with it on a table (based of course). I have a whole stack of Vallejo colour primers and they do so much heavy lifting for painting armies, etc.
Love your videos, including this one! As a dad of small kids, I have limited time, but I want to leave an important central question behind... Which Vallejo airbrush primer matches Death Guard Green? ^^
It adds about five minutes to every video, and around half an hour extra in rendering time. I've done a couple videos where extremely unusual bases are covered, and a general purpose one with a few methods demonstrated. The basing methods are always included in the description, too.
It's a slightly yellow-ish, more sickly kind of green. Military Shade is very 'army man green,' where Voodoo Shade kinda looks like an interesting cocktail.
hey Sonic which head is that that you're using on this mini? I'm going through the list of heads on TinyLegend's site and can't see one that matches this iconic classic forge-world look, with the cool frills down the face
Nice model, it's a pity that GW doesn't imitate WGA or NorthStar and make plastic boxes with some of their more important armies, a plastic Kriegs ' box similar to Stargrave 's ones would be interesting.
Can't believe how much the head swap changes my mind on the plastic Krieg. It looks so good, thanks for the link !
I've been sitting on getting the kill-team built and painted for months now, think you might have given me the kick I needed! Wonderful scheme.
Simply magnificent!!!
Oh wow. These heads transform the model completely. It's also nice to see a scheme that is not blue.
Good job mate. Those tiny legend head swaps are so much better. Glad I went with those.
I really like the color scheme on this figure! Thanks for sharing this.
That Voodoo Wash is good stuff mate, jealous you got access to John Blanche paints! Still waiting on my copy, Cheers Sonic. 🍻
Great painting as always 👌
I keep being impressed with your use of thinned down washes, and I am quite baffled that it is not more common.
Awesome glad you did a Krieger my friend.
I used your french WW1 infantry video for my new krieg and it's turned out fantastic
This video is really making me want to paint some Krieg up. This color scheme is wonderful, keep up the great work and awesome tutorials!
Agree on the color scheme. Normally I prefer the official/traditionel one but somehow this take on the uniform catches my imagination
Kind of wish you hadn’t done this however awesome it is and I loved watching, simply because I had chosen my Krieg scheme and now I’m unsure 😂😂
He looks amazing
Ah man, that looks so good. I didn't want to have to paint Krieg but I think I need to now!
That's how they get you! There's a ton of good Krieg-alikes out there as well.
Great tutorial as always, also Tiny Legends is truly a legend, his stuff is amazing.
Would love to see a 5th Siege Regiment.
I love your videos!
Id love to see you do some Franco Prussian war miniatures!
Pretty awesome, my man. Great job 👍🏻
Hey could you maybe do a Krieg with a burgundy/maroon overcoat? My teen wants to paint theirs that way and you’re my favorite. ❤
Id like to see this as well..I've been thinking about doing mine this color as well
Another great video, thanks.

With finding epic scale krieg stuff I was thinking of how to paint them and will most likely do this one
Thank you , Troy .
🐺Loupis Canis .
I’ve been trying to find a grey painting video but may have to go green. These look great
What a treat! I’ve been itching to paint an Armageddon Steel Legion troop and strangely enough the Krieg models don’t do it for me for the aesthetic.
That being said sweet paint job sir!
I wish I knew about the alternative heads before I started my 100 man krie army
Wish I knew about the head swap before ai built 30 of them a head of the new box.cause honestly that looks so much better but. I used citadel glue so i aint messing with that
Quality vid as always! Which do you prefer painting this scheme or the classic blue-grey?
Neither, really. 😅 I like the dusty yellow-beige jackets and black armour that looks more like Steel Legion, myself.
@ Ah yes, I really enjoy Steel Legion too (especially me being from the Steel City). Thanks for the honesty, haha.
It really is crazy. I absolutely hate how they ruined the DK with the new helmet and gasmask design, but this just proves that it only takes a headship to fix them.

You can lead a horse to water, as they say... 😅

My dear Sonic, you are bad for my wallet. You have the uncanny ability to making me want to try painti g new minis in the styles you show 😅
Nice, but why you did not show us how you did the base?

@@SonicSledgehammerStudio ah thank you
How does the vodoo wash compare to Military Shade?
It's a slightly yellow-ish, more sickly kind of green. Military Shade is very 'army man green,' where Voodoo Shade kinda looks like an interesting cocktail.
👍🏻

"Classic gas masks," NOT the m-35.
@@SodaPaints yeah managed to find it eventually ^T^
Surprised they made it fit with their own kneeling bodies
Just came in to answer this and I see you already found them!
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio It was easy, since I had the page open to buy a set! 🤣

First! This looks great
That bayonet bit begs to be broken by picking The mini wrong way
The stupid gas mask on the plastic is what ruins the model for me. The old masks were much better, so Im glad theres an alternative
I know the head/mask isn't GW, but is the miniature GW? It doesn't look like it. And that base is ugly as hell, not a standard base I guess.
It's one of the standard plastic infantry from the Krieg infantry box, so yeah, it's GW.
