    I agree about the fall. I fish out of eastern bay. This was the worst fall I’ve ever experienced. I had two solid days all fall. Bait and birds everywhere but no fish.

      @watersedgetv  10 дней назад

      Yes the fall was tough! I caught some nice fish but not as many as usual.

    Good Thing they closed the Chesapeake trophy season. Big cows have been dieing in the chesapeake for too long! Now lets tighten up that slot limit! Lets hope they end all Commercial striped bass fishing in 2026 as well!

    You are jigging with a paddle tail - I typically see people use straights instead. Just preference?

    • @watersedgetv
      @watersedgetv  10 дней назад

      A lot of people like to snap jig with straight tails. I will use both, but use paddletails more often because I like to be able to "swim my bait through different parts of the water column when they are feeding suspended. I have also noticed paddletails get more bites when fish are close to bottom. I can drop to bottom and slow roll it through the strike zone with a lot of action.

    They should let catch and release all the time, but shorten the keep season.

    Remove commercial fishing and increase regulations. Also, monitor handling. It’s insane seeing people gut-hook striper after they have caught their keeper at places like Conowingo, where they spawn.

      I agree there needs to be better education on catch and release fishing

    Hey here’s an idea, don’t touch our fish! Leave them alone. Stripers should only be caught north of New Jersey.

      Cobia come here, stripers come here,drum and everything else. People just need to know how to treat them properly. We have Hunter education......we need fishing education.
