    I wanted to say that you did great! This I what I want to do. To have a simple job and build a portfolio. However, it’s difficult for me to even find a simple (minimum wage) job because I need to support my family, so I really need a bigger job (above average wage). I also need to have two works as of the moment and it’s very difficult for me to find time to improve my portfolio. Though, making a youtube a channel is a good portfolio! Thank you for sharing this experience and I’ll take this as a tip to begin with mine now.
    God bless! May more digital contents creator videos to come ❤

    I hope this video truly helps anyone out there because 3 years ago, I was desperately looking for a video like this. "Figuring it out" is hard AF especially when you don't always have the means to resources. I seriously thought about bootcamps, going back to school or paying for a coach, but the reality was that I couldn't justify paying x amount. Although nothing wrong with it at all, it just was not for me. If you have any questions, leave them here and I will try to answer them as best as possible!

    Hi Anna, I am a very beginner about content creator. I would like to learn and make it as a future job but I am frustrated now because there are tons of information in the internet that couldnt make me understand and guide me the right way.
    I truly appriciate if you can help me to figure it out.
    Thank you so much!

    • @anna.tnguyen
      @anna.tnguyen  2 года назад

      My main advice is to just START. Make content on what YOU want to and then go from there. Because I was also in the same situation flooded with info, but once I started it narrowed down what to search for and improve. I may make a shorts video to go into this further!

      Thank you for watching!! and yes i can!
      In the beginning of every month I'm given about 20 - 30 deliverables (projects) consisting of youtube videos, social media posts and some admin marketing stuff. Then I would go about working on priority projects, like researching and scripting out the youtube videos, scheduling with talent to get the videos filmed and having the scripts approved by managers. I would also go out and capture content to edit for our socials. Near mid month I would bring my own ideas to the table and execute on those as well. Form time to time I would update google and fb ads copy and content and also work on promotions as well. I hope I answered your answer well!! Let me know if you have any more! And are you currently looking to switch to this field?

If you have any more tips I would love to learn. It's been tough since I don't have any previous agency experience.

    • @anna.tnguyen
      @anna.tnguyen  Год назад +1

      Hey! I hope this isn't too late. I'll give you a description of a typical week :
      Usually, we try to get 1 long-form youtube video done in one to 2 weeks(ideally 1 week), 3 IG /FB posts a week and some other stories and misc. social media stuff. So in a week, I would need to research and script for long-form content, then I would need to send the script to the right department for approval. Once it's approved I need to coordinate with my co-workers to schedule a time to film the video. While all this is happening I am either taking photos to edit them for social media. And then I would spend time editing the videos as well.
      The job itself I loved, but management was extremely poor and so I ended up leaving the company and freelancing and working on my own youtube channel. When it comes to creativity, a job can sometimes take the fun away from it because now you have a lot of expectations, deadlines and maybe not as much freedom in creative control. So for this job to be really fun, you truly need a good work culture and management. I hope this helps!
