Joint bank statement point for extension - Can it be a good supporting document? Yes. Will it be a big mistake if you don't have that? Not at all! It is very normal in Canadian culture to manage your finance separately. Some other documents to prove that you are together in Canada:
1) Same address on License
2) Lease having both the names
3) Bank account statements showing transaction to each other's bank accounts
4) Photos of Travelling in Canada
You already have proved your marriage in initial SOWP application, it is not a deal breaker in extension.

On January 30, 2023, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) made it easier for spouses of work permit holders to receive an open work permit. Normally, only spouses of workers in a NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 positions were eligible for a Spouse Open Work Permit to work in Canada. With this new temporary 2-year measure, spouses of workers in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are eligible to apply for an Open Work Permit.

Yes! It should be full time job which means you should work min. 30 hours and it should be mentioned on your job letter. Hope it helps! All the best
I have seen this is written on the Canada Government website but still some people are getting rejection for not have high skilled job.
You guys are outdated.. Now, primary applicant can do any category job to get his/her spouse 's SWOP extension. 30 hrs job per week (paid/after deducting break time) is considered as a full time job. you guys are talking about NOC A, B, C but now it is NOC TEER 0-5. guys, comon update yourself

I am an international student my program ends in April. My spouse and kids are with me. I got an LOA for the next program. I need to do a study permit extension, sowp extension, and a kid's study permit extension. My husband is working here part-time and I am not working. You need to do at least 30hours weekly job. Then you can apply her visa

1- I applied my pgwp for more than a week but I didn't receive my wp-ext letter.why can you tell?
2- according to your video I applied my pgwp without applying sowp. So for my sowp i need to get my work permit then I need to apply or I can apply now aswell on applied status because my spouse visa is expiring on Oct ?
Hello. Thank you so much for the video. My husband got his PGWP approved but my SOWP EXTENSION was refused . The reason pointed out to *Not submitting enough proof that your spouse is working under NOC level job*
But as per his position (Retail lead/Retail supervisor) , he does hold TEER 2 .
So I will be reapplying my SOWP again including another proper document . Could you kindly let me know how long will it take to get it approved

Dusra webform raise karo aur us mein mention karna ke jaldi se response karo kyu ki aap emotionally drain ho rahe ho. It will work out.

Yes! You should apply their visa just before July 2024.

It will be applied from your wife’s account but you will need to add your documents as she is on spouse. She will be main applicant in her file.

For instance my husband's study permit is expiring today and he has got his PGWP in 2 hours as you mentioned, so when should I apply for my SOWP extension
Further, for applying my SOWP extension, he needs 3 pays stubs that means he has to work 3 months on Noc 0, A or B, so what will be my status till the time he applies my SOWP extension?

Thanks. No, you do not need to provide proof of that as of now. In few categories, it’s still required. Make sure to check with latest rules whenever you will be going to apply. All the best!

I applied PGWP and extention of my wife SOWP together same as u show in video. I got one update in my portal that i can work for *** date until decision made. My question is my wife didn't get any update like this so is she eligible to work or she should stop working until the decision come ?

I have a contract with my employer until next year and I have Noc A job, so will this create an issue for my spouse to apply for a Sopw extension?
Yes, that may be a red flag for immigration officer because full time job should not be having any end date. It should be permanent full time job. You need to talk with your employer to get another contract without any end date. Hope it helps!

Hi! In your case best thing is to submit proof of your wife’s job letter along with maternity proofs. Also submit whatever pay your wife is getting either from government or from employer. Hope it helps!

If you provide proper documents then hopefully it will not get rejected. If you have doubt in documentation then you should consult.

You do not need to extend that. Make sure your husband includes you in that PR application. Then automatically your visa status got change. Hope it helps!

You need full time job offer letter. 30hours are fine according to IRCC website.
@@njcanadianvlogger No bro, i checked with the immigration lawyer, you can apply using part time job as well, just need an offer or employment letter stating the role and responsibilities and it should fall between tier 0-5 along with 3 recent payslips and many people got approval for the same

Question ...Do I have to submit the applications for PGWP and SOWP extension after receiving an extension of mystudy permit? Or is it possible to apply for the extension of both the study permit(awainting response ) and PGWP/SOWP extension simultaneously, as I got a job .
You can do it either way if you are fulfilling all the conditions to apply. If you are still waiting for response then apply it after getting your study extension.
