I'll never forget deploying when my second son was five months old....Fortunately I was home for his first birthday ( he was born on Thanksgiving in Hawaii) and his first steps. But Lord knows it was HARD not to lose it when, upon my arrival, he screamed on me so bad, all I could do was stand there in that Raleigh NC airport in my uniform looking destroyed, MY baby didn't know me, I gave birth to him, spent four months of my accrued leave time on maternity leave, and he had no clue who I was. But my 10 year old first born swooped in and I picked him up as well😆....They are now 30 and 20, I was deployed for over a year and that was the last time I left them because it wrecked havoc on my household and my sons, it really did.
So happy the boys are kept with the father, easier for the mother to travel and just enjoy herself!!!, no headaches stress factors with active toddler boys& housework ect, the good life husband got it no worries 👍& a very beautiful wife&mother also!!!
