once you join, your life belongs to them, its the mission and vehicle maintenance is more important than family maintenance🤷 the reason I got out after 8 yrs....because if something comes up you dont wanna do or have to rotate to a place you dont wanna go, you cannot just quit like you can a regular job but thats just what it is, but it has its benefits and negative aspects

I feel for you Mel. Had a sister in the military who had to leave her children behind for service in the Middle East. A brave face she had when she had to leave. Only the peace of God got her, husband and the kids through that day and that period of service. May you both have the peace of God to guard your hearts and mind always.
I felt so sorry for Mel when Mo drove off. Her face said she didn’t want to leave her family. Being in the military requires sacrifices that take a strong person like Mel to get through. Mo, you’re a wonderful Dad who will handle the responsibility of parenting alone while Mel is gone with grace & prayer. I have no doubt Cairo and Cree will be well taken care of by you, with the support of GiGi. I pray that God will bless you with everything you need to endure while Nel is away. I remember when my dad was in the army and he had to leave for training I would cry everyday until he came home.
