While watching your review on this scanner, my kids 2010 Focus S with super low 56k miles, is now having what I believe is The ABS module/pump failing. I am having the same problem as the tsb on the Fusion with intermittent brake loss or low pedal. I need this to verify my problem and if it is this, I will need it to bleed the ABS module. I believe I can do all this with this scanner. Anyway, I bought it with your code and the 10% coupon. Price was unbeatable. I hope I am on the right path with my situation. Not at all. The abs light and traction control light would come on intermittently but did not notice anything different until my son and I drove to New York from Florida. There was a situation where I had to brake hard and the pedal dropped super low and I had to swerve from rear ending a minivan. Pedal stayed low but still stopped. When I got to the rest area, I was able to pump the pedal back up and it stayed normal the rest of the trip. I cannot let my kids drive this car like this. Do you think I am on the right track? Pads are good. Rear adjustment is good. No leaks and everything is clean.

Mixed reviews on this tool...MY Autel AL519 is supposed to do component tests but my 2002 Focus says not supported. Would this Ancel do component tests ? I'm thinking NO because the ECM has to support it. Why do the expensive tools do bidirectional on my old Focus ? My friend diagnosed my bad DPFE and Purge solenoid 2 years ago with his big-bux scanner. Is bidirectional control different than component test ?
Is this a 2013 fusion with the 2.5 L engine? mine had about 49,000 miles when it sprung a coolant leak about 3 weeks ago. The coolant leak was from one of the rubber hose under the intake intake manifold. A pinpoint hole was squirting coolant out. The hole was near the end next to a clamp. The area was hard to access and never previously touched or tampered with so I think the hose just degraded. Had the hose replaced and it's all good now. No engine damage sustained, thank goodness. From you experience, is this a common failure point?
Nice scanner. Where is link? I am more turned off all the time with these little turbo motors. Seems like they are not meant to last long for the money. Coolant intrusion is a common term these days. Why not have larger gaps, better gasket and larger bolts? The K car turbo I had never blew the head gasket. Built in the 80's.
My 2002 Focus 200kmiles shows LTFT about 6 STFT about -1.8 to about .8 No codes , drives great. Is this acceptable for an old engine ? Should I clean injectors and/or replace O2 sensor ? Waste of money ???
@@FordBossMe Thanks for the reply. Forscan has yet to approve my account request so I've discounted them as an option. Also Forscan can't perform certain functions that require Ford IDS. I'm looking for a scan tool that can change options. I know that Autel can but was curious about the Ancel.
Boss, I have a question on the 1.5 timing belt, is it necessary to remove the starter and lock the flywheel when replacing the T belt? Thanks for all you do on this channel
No you don't have to remove the starter for that all you have to do is use the timing peg in the back of the block so if you're looking at the front of the engine where the crank is around back there's like a little 10 millimeter Bolt and you pull that out and then there's a timing Peg that goes in the block and basically you just follow the directions and rotate the crankshaft around until the camshaft lobes on the end lineup so you can slide the camshaft tool in and then the timing Peg will be right up against one of the throws on the crankshaft and then you can slide your timing phaser to land between the front of the camshaft but you don't have to pull the starter for that
If you look through some of my videos you'll see me talkin about that I don't remember exactly which ones but if you go to my library and type in 1.5 EcoBoost I'm sure you're going to find exactly what you're looking for

Ford Boss Me, can you please do a video on how to exactly update the FD700. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. NO ONE from Ancel will help me. Their customer service seems to be very poor. I am not totally technalogically challenged, ha ha, but I can't figure this out. I have watched videos on how to update other scanners but their screen shots is not what I am seeing. I downloaded the update from the Ancel website to my download file on my laptop but that is as far as I can get. Then all I can do is to "open" it. I am lost. HELP! Thank you.
