Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I don't know on how it works, I'm glad that I found yo video because some of the RUclipsrs aren't actually showing it on how to live a pre-recorded video on Facebook but they're using third- party app that can harm my device ❤️

Question - If I don’t have the pre-recording video yet, can I upload just any video for now to be able to go through the process of creating a “scheduled live event” just so I can have access to event link that can share out to invite folks, and then later (before it goes live) switch out the videos and upload a new one?

Does the video have to be recorded on your computer or laptop only ?
This can only be done from your laptop or desktop computer. You are unable to do this from your phone.
Facebook is getting rid of Creator Studio . How will we stream a pre-recorded video now?

Will it let you stream into a Group you're an Admin on?
Not in groups. It only works on your Facebook business page. I suggest using a service like StreamYard to host a pre-recorded video into a Facebook group

It only works when you upload the video. And only from your computer.

@@AleaseMichelle i think this is no longer valid - i just tried this, and the event check box is not there anymore. i don't think you can schedule an event with a live video anymore.

Effective August 2022, Meta is removing the Premiere feature. This was so useful. The workaround is using the OBS software. This was so much easier but they have their reasons for removing it. I know I had it but it isn't working.

Yes I noticed that. They have changed the location. You now have to go through their business suite. I'm working on recording a new video this week.
Oh please do. I'm really sick and of checking. All the videos on RUclips are talking about the old classic Facebook page and the option of the premiere video has been removed

@@Kiswa I took a look and it I tried to schedule a video and it gave me an error message. However it did allow me to schedule an image - go figure. If you want to schedule a video on facebook to show later - recommend using a service like Stream Yard. You can upload a video and schedule it to go live on Facebook, RUclips and LinkedIn. Wish I had better news.

Yes its a work around. But will require you to use a third-party service like StreamYard or Restream. I currently use StreamYard to schedule my videos.

i think they removed creator studio already...i think they want ppl to use the META version...but it doesn't have premier option as live anymore🥲
