I really understand what she's going trough. I own the same bike and I'm 162 cm (5'3''). the weight is a real issue for me. what she said... When I' m driving it's no issue, a perfect bike.. but the stopping is. I'm tippie toeing and dropped it once. And I'm also afraid of driving slowly and when there's much traffic or people around me.
It is a hard bike for smaller riders and the weight is massive. I wonder could you lower the bike a little to get a better footing. Fair play to you for driving it as it's not easy, thanks for watching 😊
@@DaveTube3310 yeah my boyfriend told me to lower it for the same reason.. But the weight is still there when I push it. I call him for help 😂. But I think I'll have to change the bike :(. Props for your girl/wife for having the guts to try for 2nd time 😊💜
"She's like a boat", made me chuckle that haha. Good on ya both for making these videos. I remember when I had my first bike, NSR 125 RK back in the day and my friend had a Honda CBR600 with the bubble fairings. I had a ride on that and I was gobsmacked that i could accelerate in any gear I wanted. A similar jump was riding another friends R1 from my, then, KTM RC390. Wow, it blew my mind. Now have an 06 Ninja 636 which is lovely and suits me well. Well ya know it could be a bit more comfortable but that is a small point really. Well done for having the guts Nikki!
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it, like a boat 😂😂😂 made me laugh as well when I watched it back. The 636 is a lovely bike great useable power in them 💯
Well done Nikki 👏 Proud of you. I wouldn't do it myself, even so I could reach the ground. I would have chickened out. Great video. Pure emotions. Joy to watch. All the best in new year to both of you. 💪
My answer to this question is…No. it’s all just practice of one foot riding on the smaller bike until your ready. All good ! Parking lot practice is the best. My wife and I do that at the beginning of each year.
Jesus lads that was emotional 😁 Yes Nikki congrats that was brilliant, you wanted it more and defeated fear 👊🏻 Loved this lads, this is what Biking is about. If you were in a car someone would be saying do this do that but a bike it’s all encouragement ✊🏻🏍😁😁😁
Such a good video, I felt so happy for Nikki when she was moving the bike unaided. My partner is 4'10 and we have a similar issue with her 125 but she can control the bike completely unaided however she has similar struggles with confidence due to the height and weight of the bike. This video definitely relates to those shorter riders, they might know how to ride the bike fine, but confidence is key when riding motorcycles.
Absolutely 💯 I felt so bad for her on the way home and then when she decided to give it another go I was rooting for her, little warrior 💪 thanks for watching and thanks for the support 😊
Lk29 👍, I love your instructions, no height is too short, but it does help to be taller. Wow it was so fun watching you to. Such a Giggle infested conversation you to had ☺️😉. Great share, stay blessed and safe on two wheels, especially if your 5’1”. Your friend Traveller MIA 🇬🇧
I agree it's all about experience.and confidence. Thanks for watching and I'm happy you enjoyed it. We have so much fun when we go for spins together and I'm glad that shows through. Ride safe 😊
Doesn't matter if you drop the bike. I have had a couple of over 600cc bikes and dropped all of them bar the heaviest a 1000cc bike. It's not a matter of if but when it happens. Well done for being persistent! One day you will be riding a big bike like a 50cc scooter 🙂
😉
Video out on Tuesday the 4th at 7pm GMT 💯😃

Yay Nikki...you did it! That is such a heavy bike and I can understand her fear of it.
Thanks for the support, probably seems silly to others. Thanks for the support 😊

It's really scary reaching for the ground and it not being there, especially on a heavy beast. I would have chickened out.
Nearly did but just pulled myself together the last minute 😂 thanks for watching
