Swamp Cooler // Easy How To Shut Down & Cover for Winter

Living in the Southwest U.S. means you may have a swamp cooler like me. When it starts getting cold outside it's time to shut it down and cover it up for winter. Every swamp cooler is a little different but they basically all do the same thing. So don't be intimidated! If you're into basic DIY and able to get up on your roof you can likely take care of this task yourself instead of paying for an HVAC appointment. I'll take you step by step through my process and show you how I do it. My video will be especially helpful for those whose cooler doesn't have a damper (draft block-off plate). I'll show you an easy trick to keep cold air out of your house and home heating costs down.
