Five basic but HUGE beginners mistakes I made laying sod // WATCH MY SOD FAIL

Want to know what NOT to do when it comes to laying sod? I am usually pretty good with DIY projects and I love working outside in the dirt. But sometimes DIY blows up in your face big time and that's what happened here. I admit it was all my fault for not doing more research beforehand and I wish I'd watched a few of the many excellent pro landscaping videos here on RUclips first. This was a big expensive lesson for me to learn in my first time trying to lay down sod but oh well, you live and learn right? I'm sure I can try it again and make it work I just need to figure out how to get all this dead sod and weeds out of here.. maybe a herd of goats??
