You are building an airplain 😅😅😅. Very good job.
Bruno from France.
July 14th, in France, anniversary of revolution.
14/07/1789 😉
I'm a descendant of the French Huguenots that came to South Africa a long time ago. Revolutions is in my blood!😅
That is very cool, clean and fits the theme. It's going to sit in the passenger seat I suppose? haha
It will fit between the two seats behind the shifter
Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦. Thanks for the recognition. I always look forward to your videos
Thank you!
I had a friend that used an a/c compressor as an air pump, but not for a suspension. It was to put air back in his trucks tires after riding on the sandy beach. He made a front tube bumper as a tank and would just plug into the bumper with an air line to fill.
Rat rod bob is a good guy.
Thanks for another great Sunday matinee Div! ...peace🍺
🎼The Hudson airs up and down.
Hurrah! Hurrah!
Bags vary the ride within
Hurrah! Hurrah!
Rats will sing, and Rods will shout.
Ladies will bring beer to drink
And life is now A Oh Kay
When Hudson airs up and down.🎵
😀👍
Looking good, I remember watching Rat Rod Bob build his manual control valves
Seems like a 3 way ball valve would have simplified it a bit. One port to bag, one port to air source, one port to release air. That way the valve would go up or down increasing or decreasing pressure.
A 3 way valve is not easily available here. But I enjoy the complexity.🙂
That is so much cooler than a black box with wires!
Can't go wrong watching how Rat Rod Bob does it.
I cant stand those frigging evil black boxes!😅

I am a retired Electrical Controls Engineer and completely agree. Lol
@@MachineDr. 😁 straight from the horses mouth! ☺️
Thanks for your recognition of American Independence Day! 🇺🇸Also, Johnny Comes Marching Home was not lost on me.
I appreciate your knowledge and perseverance! I’ve learned much from you.
Thanks for the shout out ! Getting a four day weekend ! Heat index was brutal yesterday. Better today. Awesome design and workmanship on the valves and handles ! I'm a big fan of both you and Bob !
Enjoy that long weekend!
Another Great Vid, Diff! You and your loved ones have a "Happy Fourth"!
Fancy! A unique suspension system has to have an equally unique air control system!!
I really like it!!!
Thanks Brad!
Amazing patience, imagination and craftsmanship.
Thanks!
Two of my favorite channels. Yours and rat rod bobs. Nice to see him getting a shout out on here
Thanks brother
Worked at a GM assembly plant for 30 yrs. All welding in the plant is stick welding only. The company doesn't allow mig except for assembly in the body shop. Love this manual controller, never once thought about doing it this way. Effing awesome bud!
Good to hear that! The old school boys knew best. Thanks man!
Lekka build Div. Thanks for sending your chaps to Canada 🇨🇦 to fight forest fires 🔥
I ordered them personally!😆 Just joking
That manual bag system is so cool
I'm a 75yr old with hands just like yours and I appreciate old age but we can't get enough of you . . . easy to say your videos are too infrequent and not long enough in duration.
Thanks man. Yes, would like to do more videos but the energy levels aint what it used to be...😅
No flip-flops? It must be getting cold there. It's interesting to see you adding layers as we're removing them.
Jip, our winter is here!
Hey Div,
I am an OG with a few years on you, living in the middle of the USA.
Yes Kansas.
I so enjoy your videos.
I to am a creator of stuff.
No matter what I build, I like to have a bit of bling and/or shine.
Your ideas and work to create smooth shiny metal, function and uniqueness are top notch !
Using what I have on hand is part of the thrill of building, as I see in what you build.
You and Rat Rod Bawb look to be of the same mind in many ways.
Nuthin wrong with that.
Good show Compadre !
Work Safe, Be well
Enjoy Life
Thanks brother, glad you are enjoying my stuff.
Thanks for showing your invention. It's fun watching you create.
Gotta love that forest engineering!
Hi Diff. Thank you again for the shout out to the Canadians. I love your candid attitude... problems?..no .just things that need solving., great channel full of innovative ideas. keep on truckin"
Thanks John. Well, when it comes to mechanical things, there are no problems, just challenges. With people however, is another story altogether. 😆
😎👍🇺🇲
We appreciate the mention of our Independence day.
Cheers brother 👊
May we ALL live as Free men.✊
Pleasure man! The way the world is going, I dont see much freedom in the future...
@@ratrodsafrica
Sad state of affairs indeed my friend.
There's still freedom in the soul.✊
They can't take that away. 😈
Diff, SWEEETTT !! Love the creative process your brain comes up with.
You do a great job of fabricating. Love watching you think out of the box.
Thank you very much!
1 minute in I hit the thumbs up button lol. Then I hit it 4 or 5 more times through out the video. Haha. Love this build man !! And thx for the HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY wishes my brother. And S. O. S. Is my only option nowadays lol 😂 👍🏻✌🏻😁
Thanks man! SOS mode gets it done too. Eventually!😃
Fine piece of carrying on! I used a BF sway bar on the rear of my truck to solve the "leaning" issue. But it did lean really easy before that, same as you stated, the air would go from side to side. Those manual controls really attracts attention from spectators so be prepared for that 😎.
I guess I've watched maybe six of your videos and I've got to stop for a minute to let you know that you are a genuine treasure. That you for posting all these videos. Even when you make a mistake (the driveshaft problem) you show so much skill and experience and knowledge. It's a delight to just watch. Keep 'em coming! Great stuff!
Thank you very much! Appreciate your kind words😊
Nice work Div, really enjoy your program and look forward to seeing the next one. Take care my friend and have a Lekka day. 👍
Thanks brother
Mooi Div.
I look forward to my weekly fix from you.
Thanks as always.
Great stuff as ever Div. It is said that there are many gems in South Africa - it turns out to be true 👍🏻
Thanks. Yes, many gems here, but I'm not one of them...😀
Interesting build, we are looking forward to seeing this project completed.
Thanks for the shout out for Canada Day.
I have a suggestion have pressure regulator with two check valves, so as not to over fill the bags.
The 1st for the high level point and 2nd for the normal ride height.
This will easy than controlling the individual bags, the vehicle wouldn’t lean to the left or right.
Yes, i'm sure something that will work. But its just a rat rod, like it both simple and complex😅
A bit late, but hope you had a good Canada day!
Diff you never fail on your fabricating skills. Well done and have a lekka week inside your forest workshop. TKe care boet.
And thank you for sharing your skills and imagination with us.
Thumbs up.
Looks like controls on a aircraft , very well done . Build On
Does make one think of airplane levers!
Watching from Athens, Georgia 🇺🇸 and I'm absolutely loving the truck. Keep up the phenomenal work!
Thanks! Will do!👍
Thats looking Cool Div, Well done. Thank you for sharing. Cant wait to see what you come up with for the air tank.
Bob would be proud 😎 nice job
Amazing craftsmanship and thinking! Eagerly await each episode.
Thanks
You never cease to amaze me of what you can do, that is awesome. I enjoy your videos and knowledge.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the Canada 🇨🇦 day shout out! Awesome job! I'm a diesel mechanic 30+ years and we used to have 2 leveing valves for left and right side but now one valve does both sides and it doesn't seem to be a problem when cornering or weight distribution. Also maybe add a regular valve to the supply, could be dash mounted.
Thanks. It probably doesnt need to be this complex, but its a rat rod!😃
Well done🎉 love the air contraption 😊 can't wait to see it all done
Thanks!
Brilliant craftsmanship once again Div.
Cool and functional.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the Canada 🇨🇦 shout out Diff! That would be totally cool if you mounted that on the roof like a plane!! Very good work as usual Diff! Looking forward to the next instalment……😎😎
Dont think there will be enough headroom. And running the airlines will be a pain🙂
Wow wow wow! Flippen Cool! Love it! Legend!
Dankie boet!
lol looks like aircraft landing gear.. it's a marvel of engineering.
Very fitting for that truck great job.
Very cool design. I look forward to seeing it work.
Div!!! That was some good stuff!!! Enjoyed the video as always!!! Thats gonna look awesome in between the front seats, like a jet cockpit!!!! Have a lekka one Boet!!!
What a great job you did on that manifold, you could grab all the handles for the front and rear at the same time to dump the truck on the ground or lift it at both ends. Thank you for the 4th of July statement. 🙂
Thanks. And my pleasure. Enjoy the celebrations
Awesome morning brother from another country !!!! Your engineering knowledge and skills always brings the greater quality of craftsmanship that should be an example that everyone can follow !!!
Thanks brother!
Thanks Diff.
Hi Diff, love and respect
Thats a masterpiece, blady excellent I really am blown away
Thanks!
Awesome job on the valves! They look amazing 👍
Thanks! 👍
6013 is a great penetrating stick rob and follow it up with a 7018 and you have a great weld. I was a NDT tech for over 20 yrs servicing major oil companies back in the 70’s 80’s and the 90’s. Enjoy your videos Diff….you make my week young man! 👍 🇺🇸🙏
Always nice to hear from an expert!
Another good one Diff KEEP THEM COMING 👏 🇺🇲
Very cool. I enjoyed the feed. Thanks. Jack.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
Awesome engineering as always brother have a lekka one brother another awesome adventure as always
You da man Diff. I love your work.
Man!! That’s looks fantastic!!
Excellent mechanical control system, should work fine. You may need to add a gauge for each airbag to the dash to allow fine tuning or trouble-shooting. Thanks Div.
Thanks. Yes, planning to have 5 gauges on the dash. One for each bag and one for air tank
I just had a thought. Add springs on the levers for automatic return of the handle. The springs will also keep the levers in the off position 👍👍😀
Thats something to look into, thanks.
Great work Duff!!
Love this idea, going to work so well
Looking good my friend! Thank you for the Happy Fourth of July! Happy Canada Day!
I was diggin Bob's and I'm diggin your version too, I'm not so sure about the independents in the country but at least your airbags will truly enjoy some, nice work Div
I wire welded natural gas pipe for 35 years. Grind start and stops, on root pass and cap. Every thing I welded was tested at 500 to 1500psi, no leaks.
ingenious air ride control set up Diff, youre a clever bastard and much cooler than an electronic system, my daily has self leveling and ride height control all done by a computer so Ive seen the other variety
Thanks Dusty!
Canada Day is on July 1st just for your info. We usually do a BBQ, maybe a few fireworks ,maybe a nice cold beer or two or the beverage of choice
Yes, I said July 1st. Maybe my accent... Hope you enjoyed the BBQ!
Fantastic..thanks..loved watching this episode
Glad you enjoyed it
Cheers, trying to build my first trike..great inspiration from you're videos..thank you
@@StevenStratford just keep on taking those bites and you will eat the elephant!🙂
That’s about as cool a controller as I can imagine. You have great vision and the skills to pull it off! Love the channel.
Thanks brother!
Looks great
crazy om you have surprised me again with your fabrication work it will look arsome mounted in the cab with the gauges well done mate
Thanks 👍
I like your air valve, nice
Wow that is awesome coming up with the manual controls you can have some fun with those levers.
That's a cool setup you've made, the interior is going to look like a jet plane cockpit 😆 well done mate
Thanks 👍
Absolutely brilliant. A pleasure to watch.
I'm digging your build. Great job
Thanks 👍
Super cool Div!!👍👍
Thanks! 👍
Another great video. Thanks!!
Awesome air controller 🔥⚡️
Loving SOS mode, been using it at home. Have a lekka one Div
As usual Dif you continue to inspire me with your knowledge and practical solutions Lekker Bly Ou Pal...
Glad to hear that! Thanks
Turned out good, just like Bob's. Just a idea I've used a carriage bolt to put a round cap on pipe or tube.
Its a great idea!
I like steampunk style diff excellent work have a lucky one
Thanks Bill
Absolutely genius my friend. 🤩👏🏻👏🏻
That’s crazy cool!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
😀Thanks boet!
I’m late with a comment because I fell asleep. Long hot day yesterday. Anyway, awesome! Have-a-lucky-one! 🤣😂🤣
Like your style Sir.
Thank you kindly
Up until now it’s just been hotrodin. The air system is completely Raty 💪😎🔧🔧
More Rattyness to come!
That's bad ass 2 thumbs up 👍
Very cool I’m loving the style
Duff, you help keep me motivated on my so-far 3 yr restomod build. Plus I so much prefer making my own stuff vs buying something inferior and not exactly suited to my application - you've given me lots of creative ideas. The forest aided engineering layouts are superb, I've started doing layouts on my stuff.
Many thanks!
Glad to hear it! If I can motivate someone, I'm a happy chappie!😀
very stylish, I like it
You should mount that on the roof like old plane cockpits
:}great work dif, the air controller will fit right in :}
Thanks!
Very lekka Div, it will go well the bomber seats that will no doubt be fitted down the track, I can the see many hours you put into making it.Cheers Greg
Thanks Greg
Awesome job thats real cool div.
