I’m loving these types of videos. It’s inspiring to see patterns and fabrics that work together.

Lauren, your joy in these fabrics and your trip down Sewing Bee Memory Lane, was just so adorable. Your videos are always fun and informative but this one had a special energy. You've spoiled your customers with this sale. I have to admit, in my sewing journey, I've shied away from the expense of Liberty Tana fabrics, well really any Liberty fabrics. But I gave some a try as a detail with one of your quilted fabrics last winter and now I'm hooked. I find these 'show and tell ' type clothing videos so helpful. Thank you for everything.

This was a fun video! I’m glad you highlighted it’s use as a lining fabric and seam finishing. Definitely increases the high end look and feel of a piece.

Love, love it when you show us the clothes you have made, such an inspiration, you are so talented. I want so much to buy some Liberty fabric, even just a little to use as accents.

Thank you! This is inspiring. I have a trove of Liberty fabric from the 1970s (!) and it is more than time to use them. Most are 36" wide, which it harder to use contemporary fabrics.

Love seeing all your makes, have you thought of doing a round-up of all your coats. Seeing them makes me want to give it a go at sewing a coat 🙂

Love Liberty. Thank you for showing the garments. Have to say I did not think about using them in small amounts inside garments but seeing how you did gives me ideas.

This was a real treat, thank you. Your stock is excellent, I usually order online but am looking forward to visiting in person. I've just made a lovely blouse with the Liberty 'People Puzzle B' ordered from you, my first time sewing tana lawn and it is a dream.

thinking of making very lightweight loos pants with an elastic waist band for the super hot summer days to wear with a tunic top.
Would be lovely to see the fabrics in some garments for larger bodies. Because it's cotton and so light it would be perfect.

I just wish these gorgeous Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics came with a bigger width than 137cm. The dress patterns I want to use which have a big flounce at the bottom specify fabric of 145cm width minimum.

I agree. I’m almost at the end of rewatching the first GBSB series and the emphasis was most definitely more on the sewing techniques. They kept repeating that they were looking for Britain’s “best amateur sewer” and they gave them longer time periods to make garments than they do now. And now you could actually be the best amateur sewer in the group but lose out to those who are more imaginative about what to make out of, for example, 2 worn pillowcases and an old school bag! And it’s been lovely to see Lauren again in the competition’s first series! She was so good in it.

They do! Find a shop that sells patchwork fabrics and you should find some. Make sure you check you have chosen tana lawn though. Liberty also sell a different cotton fabric for patchwork.

Liberty fabrics are gorgeous, but I'm sorry to say, way too expensive. Most every day sewers in the United States, don't spend that kind of money, on fabric.

Mmmm... Liberty 💞 swoon! I was on a hugely dangerous liberty kick for sometime. It was dangerous for my wallet. Once you touch it you just 🫠.
My old work bestie once asked me why I wear so much "chintz." I nearly wet myself I laughed so hard. It sounds mean but we worked for a company called Fabric Images! I apologized and said I know what she means, but we will have to wok on her fabric terminology. 🫂 I'm not sorry. That will always be hilarious.
