I find it so interesting how Xbalanque is the opposite of a prophesied hero in the sense that NOBODY saw him coming, the guy just appeared out of nowhere and screwed up everyone's plans (In a good way)

Albedo: The laws of Teyvat inhibit evolution, aka stagnation. Raiden: My ways are the closest to the heavenly principles. It was in front of us all along. For some reason the heavenly principles don't want the inhabitants of Teyvat to evolve/progress. Judging by everyone that was wrongly or intentionally accused to be a tyrant, but were in fact trying to protect their people I can't help myself in noticing a theme here. This could be a foreshadowing of what's to come.
Because in Honkai the more a civilization is evolved the more stronger and violent is the Honkai and their attacks. Maybe it's why the evolution is restrain, for mitigate the effect of the Abyss and avoid complete annihilation.
@@capriciaelcid4743It doesn't look like it. The Abyss is too different from honkai and nothing says that progress has anything to do with the Abyss, except for the fact that the more advanced a civilization is, the more they want to know about the world, which eventually leads to them trying to control the Abyss with brings their destruction. By the way, dragons were generally an interplanetary super-developed race and honkai didn't do anything with them.
@iosis9324 because it could be a local form of Honkai like the calamity in Mars in the Part 2 (it was clearly stated) or Venus. It's not so different. Just look the Tulpa boss, it resemble to a Honkai beast. And many monsters in open world look like those of the other Mihoyo games because they are in the same universe. The same phenomenon can happen, adapting to the rules of the world where it appears.
@@capriciaelcid4743 Tulpa is not connected to the Abyss. Or the visual similarity of the opponents is due to the fact that these games are from the same company. Okay, how could interplanetary sci-fi dragons exist according to honkai lore? And who is the Primordial One?
@iosis9324 Visual similarities Can count we'll know soon with Amphoreus in HSR who after the beta leaks have many similarities with Enkanomiya and it's not just cosmetic. In HSR dragons aka Leviathans existed longtime ago before humanity. They were exterminated by Qlipoth. Teyvat could be a world in the past of the universe where dragons existed yet. Honkai just begin to connect the games, we need to advance more but look at Kevin Diabolic Form. He's half-man half-dragon who is described as "look like an abyssal demon". And his form Delivrance is called "Leviathan of the Civilization". My theory is the PO should be a variant of Kevin and Genshin a variant of Project Stigmata.

Think Lilopuar still holds the #1 spot for most fucked up creature we’ve helped Me initially thinking “ah it’s just a bottle with a mouth” and thinking surely the lore wouldn’t be that dark about a floating bottle. Boy oh boy was I wrong 😂
@@zeekfarrongaming5302Ahh Lilopuar, the ranked competitive anti-desert folk racist genie fragment. If it weren’t for Jhett, I’d have fed that disrespectful bottle of sass to the Wenut.
I just noticed that the scene with the Sage must have actually taken place some time before we got to the Dragon ship, since the mural he was standing in front of was broken when we got there before the Sage's cutscene.
:O OH MY GOD Some people wondered if the saurian that "died" when we met our little guy was the Dragon Sage too because that tepetlisaur spoke in fancy font. I guess this proves it. Time shenanigans must have gone on, where the Dragon Sage found a saurian with the Flamelord's blessing (if that's even a thing), brought it to the wall, and had a whole conversation with Future MC, destroyed the wall, put little guy in a stasis incubator pyramid, then waited for us. Because it was the very beginning of Natlan, I didn't think much of it because I thought some saurians were born in fancy tech machines, but they come from eggs. In Khaenri'ah Adjacent Things™, it's like the Caribert quest where The Visionary could tell MC also witnessed the same experience as their abyss sibling. They were able to see past the physical body and acknowledge the mind inside that was existing in the future.
@lulufortytwo3884 It could also be that the Sage was just having a conversation with our little guy and both he *and* the Traveler are the "Chosen of Dragons" since the Sage is a dragon and is the one choosing us both on behalf of his plans to combine humans and dragons for the sake of dragonkind.
I was stunned when seeing a dragon fully standing, wearing clothes like a human... I don't think any other dragons we've met so far be looking so human right? except Neuvillette.
Well, he IS a dragon "sage" after all. Wouldn't surprise me if dragon civilization had castes and the more enlightened ones actually dress themselves up in pretty clothes and jetpacks like our Dragon Sage did.
Enjou is definitely coming back. In fact he plays a role in the Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls event that is currently active, just under the name Kokuchuu.
18:51 honestly, the way I see Pahsiv is just like a lot of dragons in fiction, they learn to adopt a humanoid visage to better interact with mortals. If you see a familiar creature, you would trust it implicitly, or at least, not be outright hostile. A lesson she probably learned from watching Fontainians.
@insert_edgyname8848 ok, strong point, though not absolute (basic outlanders aren't immune to Fate, or any of them would suffice to derail it). I do think that rules it out, but not because that's incompatible per se. E.G., there's no rule we've been informed of that non-pyro-vision bearers cannot ascend to Pyro Archonhood - quite the opposite, we've been told ascension ignites the inner flame. So, since his ascension requires Archons to be a thing, therefore Gnoses to exist, therefore the third descender to have had their go-around, it becomes unlikely that they're the second. Same, I would think, about the fact that the second helped make the gnoses, irrc. As one caveat to that: if the summer event had the different visitors as descenders (one to make life anew, then one to fix the broken world by losing their position, and the last one to purify the abyssal corruption), then the Second remains unknown in their purpose, but led to the discovery of a secret at their time, and will have a final act in aid to the fourth. So, I cannot entirely rule out that Kirara is Xbalanque.
I think There was actually a hint in 5.0 that something was wrong with the sage of the stolen flames and the whole „quest“ we are send on. Back in 5.0 I did the Yumkasaur acenstor temple quest before the other little buddy quests and at the end when we are in the nightkingdom a voice talks to us and tells us something along the lines of „ don’t trust the visions of the holy mountain and reject HIS promises“ and that stuck with me since then and so everything in the little buddy quests after became sus to me and now after all this 5.2 lore and even revealing that the Scion NPC person „helping“ us in the temple was the sage in disguise im more sus than ever I can’t wait to see how this ends :D
Albedo hinted at something in the last Dragonspine quest. He also seem to hide what he found out about the travellers anatomy. To become more specific Albedo asks if we have a second heart or a fourth stomach which conveniently is what demons are supposed to have. Now it is interesting that he asks that question and since he is not really human he doesn't understand that is a weird thing to say. Now this line becomes more interesting after meeting the Saurians and the human connection they have. Experiments that the dragon sage began with. It is unknown how much Albedo actually knows but in order to drive the story forward he should know quite a lot it might be worth revisiting what he said in the earlier quests as well Albedo uses star silver ore to conduct a potion to extract the travellers power but why did he use specifically star silver from that mountain as a catalyst. Simply put I do not trust him or his intentions
When you were talking about the "evolution" of the vishaps in Enkanomiya, I felt like the whole adaptation of the young was more like epigenetics than evolution in the traditional sence. Epigenetics involves parts of the genetic code being turned on or off based on environmental factors without actually changing the genetics (extremely simplified explanation), and can have extremely similar effects. For example, things like the Agouti gene in mice (which causes them to have a different fur color than what they would have otherwise) was shown to appear more frequently when the mother mouse was obese (can't remember the exacts of the study but that's the general idea). In the case of the vishaps raised in cold environments, it's like the vishaps had the genetics that made it possible for them to resist cold environments, but it had to be activated by the parent being in that cold environment in the first place.
It never clicked that "Pahsiv" was "Vishap" backwards, until you pointed it out! More mysterious than ever, that little Melusine. I wonder if we'll see her again.
10:15 Manqu is super sus. I'm pretty sure that before doing the quest you can still find him where you first meet him, but after completing the quest he's gone. Also Titu super sus too, he is still there and there's new dialogue. The traveller can ask him "I saw you in Ochkanatlan", he gets defensive saying "nooo i wasn't haha". Legba dialogue doesnt change but he also sus lol
@nikhi4091 He's in the same location where you'd find Manqu before, there's a few houses and saurians there, but it's right after you leave the Children of Echoes Tribe, on your left, before reaching the Sulfurous Veins. You can use the tribe's Statue of the Seven and glide from there following the path and you'll get there easily.
Two things that stood out to me from the ochkanatlan water cavern thing is that K’uhul Ajaw literally means destined leadership ( from the superscript text from the statue dragon) and that someone ( possibly the dragons or early humans) built a ‘ladder’ to the firmament ( idr if that was the exact phrase but the point still stands) which implies that people have almost always known that the sky was fake. Despite this nahida still asked dottore about it, which possibly implies that irminsul automatically filters any information about teyvat’s sky or that it is treated as forbidden knowledge and not absorbed into the network. I’m not exactly sure about this but if forbidden knowledge is not found in irminsul then it may be treated as a kind of foreign body and attacked by the ley lines which then causes it to retaliate and cause damage to irminsul and therefore pollutes it and drives those that can’t understand it mad.
I leaning to believe that we already have vishap-human as playable chars, like Chongyun with his abnormally cryo centric constitution (also lizard eyes). Or anyone with non-human features like Chasca and Layla with their elf ears
Personally, I think the flamelord’s blessing is a real thing, since there’s a world boss who’s explicitly a Ququsaur with the flamelord blessing from 500 years ago (mualani’s boss drop). However, bringing the entreaties to the volcano is probably not the way to get rid of it, if there is one at all. Waxaklahun probably made that part up
For Context: the GGZ mentioned is about basically resetting the world if humanity failed in their fight against the Honkai. You can find a clip that (traumatized) showed how Kiana became a God and ended the world for a reset, only for another generation and civilization to blossom afterwards. The video is called "Kiana's world 12-13". This is also further built upon the Hi3 Storyline as (SPOILER ALERT) The Cocoon of Finality which is a being of Honkai, wanted to achieve "embrace" with Humanity and everytime it fails to do that, it resets back the time loop.
ubah-kan disguised himself as Manqu and has a persona hiding under the Saurian relics association. i replayed the Little guy World Quest and realized that he is the NPC that pushed us to take the journey in the first place at first he tested our resolve by giving us a choice to give over Little Buddy to be "taken care off" aka kill Little Guy because of the special red mark we then chose to not get manipulated into doing this and he then informed us of the things needed to be done to deal with the special red mark issue. MANQU aka Ubah kan will be the Final boss on the volcano. the last Test for Little Guy and the Last Test for Humanity. To prove that Och-kan's beliefs are not simply delusions and the Trial by Fire Humans need before facing Celestia with us as the representative of all.
8:00 - Crazy idea.... But... Could Xabalanque be a descender? Also... This mural painted on top of another mural thing reminded me of Mini Durin. We all thought he was the evil dragon but turned out to be a cutie and gentle heart. The black dragon was depicted as the evil but underneath there was a white dragon with a different story... Maybe there is more to these murals than just being over painted... And if this sage guided us in Natlan through pretending to be other people... Who says he couldn't do the same outside Natlan? He is not bound by the Night Kingdom's rules... He can leave... Like... To Enkonomiya... Again, a crazy idea but...
Even crazier, crackier idea... What if Xbalanque is the Abyss Sibling? Yeah, I know. But the Descender part actually makes sense and could very, VERY easily explain the unpredicted variable thing he has going on.
@@catdownthestreet Would be cool but our siblings arrived not that long ago. Little bit over 500 years if I am not mistaken. The first archon lived waaaaay before that. Also him being a descender is unlikely if we consider Fatui info to be true. He just doesn't fit into the list of 4 we know. He could be just an outlander like an abyss sibling. It is still uncertain in what way abyss sibling got written into Irminsul and to what degree they can be predicted.
@@roozeveltfox Your Natlan been incredibly helpful in helping me re-orient myself in Genshin's lore after getting burned out from Fontaine. Started from Ochanatlan's quest before realizing there are world quests with Little One with "Titu" and "Legba"
8:30 So now we have to consider the possibility that Xbalanque was a Descender or some similar exotic being. It wouldn't surprise me, considering how suspiciously familiar with them the locals seem to be (Citlali suddenly mentioning it and Xilonen not even asking her what it means...) I also keep thinking this fall of dragons and rise of humans is analogous to the real-life reign of dinosaurs giving way to the age of mammals/humans, since y'know, the modern dragons of Natlan are literally dinosaurs, and the dragons were wiped out by a "meteorite" in the form of the Primordial One. Surviving dinosaurs evolved into birds--probably why there are bird saurians all around Ochkanatlan--and humans in Teyvat have been likened to birds with their use of wind gliders. Could that have something to do with dragons evolving into humans?
@@misxfitx exactly. If he were a descender then he'd have to be the third one, who's body was split into the gnoses, but the most info we have about his death is that he 'returned to the sacred flame'. Me thinks Xbalanque could perhaps be just an outlander and not a descender. Then again, he could be like Scara. Scara along with the archons and the MC are the only playable characters to have themselves as their constellation, meaning they broke through Teyvat's fate system. If and when Alice is released, I'm dead sure she'd have 'herself' as her constellation. Me thinks Xbalanque is one such extraordinary individual.
@winnie7668 could also be that, to be frank we dont know many details about what makes a descender yet, just 1) not native to teyvat 2) have a "will to challenge the world's". xbalanque seems like he did a lot of incredible things considering he was just a mortal human, so it seems to fit the bill for a descender, but he could just be an extraordinary outlander and not reach the will of a descender. guess we'll see
@aexylili yes but in the narissenkreuz ordo world quest we learn a crucial difference: not everyone who comes from outside is considered a descender. Only those with a 'will that can rival the world'. That's why there's so many outlanders in Teyvat (read Perinheri) but only 4 of them are classified as descenders by the Fatui.
fantastic video!! when you pointed out xbalanque's description with him wearing a wreath of golden flowers, I couldn't help but think of the traveler in the finale of sumeru's aranara questline wearing a wreath of flowers gifted by the aranara which also glowed golden. it's highly unlikely there's any correlation, but it is quite funny anyway. especially as xbalanque seems to be quite the unexpected, prophecy defier, quite like mister traveler here who has no weavings written of himself in teyvat's fate.
I'm quite curious about PO "Tossing humans" into this world, cuz if it's more literal, it can support the theory that PO came to Teyvat to rebuild human civilization from its original planet and the whole KFC wind glider lore. Maybe it had samples of humans that literally got tossed into this artificially remade pond that is Teyvat to try and rebuild that civilization, with PO potentailly monitoring them to not let the original cause of human destruction on its own planet happen I'm also quite curious about Dragon Civilization, cuz now that we learned that they most likely had space shuttles (from the new refinement material), there are grounds to speculate that Dragons originally came to the planet of PO too, which will explain why PO then came here to colonize the planet in return (if dragons did something bad before)
Its interesting that you mentioned that Xbalanque was not foresaw by the sage or even in any of the prophecies. It got me thinking that maybe Xbalanque's fate is not bound to Teyvat, which means he could be an outlander or even a descender. Its also interesting that the golden entreaties could be the pyro sovereign's authority. Mavuika did mention that the power of the pyro archon awakens the power within oneself. Meaning the pyro throne does not provide power which makes the hypothesis that the pyro throne possibly does not have the pyro sovereign authority which could support why the traveller could not resonate with pyro. Great video tho 👍
"the golden entreaties could be the pyro sovereign's authority" "According to legend, it is said that the ancient Dragonlord - who once held dominion over all light and wisdom - transformed one of his eyes into a conduit of supreme authority by which all flames might be governed, and that this became his only exploitable weakness.." yes
I've been waiting for SO long just to see all of my favorite theory channels cover these quests! Minus Dawit. That guy seems dead set on his dragon racism no matter how obvious it is that the dragons did literally nothing to the Primordial One to deserve getting colonized 😭
@@roozeveltfox real, Celestia had no business pulling an Anakin Skywalker "and the women and the children too" moment on Khaenri'ah before they even did anything
nah you don't realize, they did nothing to the Primordial One to get colonized but they did way worse stuff later down the line. Nibelung is one of the main reasons why the world of Teyvat is being actively fucked right now

So Khaenr'anhns are the Dragons the Primodial One exiled under the ocean after the great war that had evolved into humans. The reason they dont possess great powers like a dragon human like Neuvilette is because they aren't evolved Dragon Sovereigns. Enjou is out there researching and trying to prove the theory, so I'll wait for my man to drop genshin's biggest lore bombs in the special version 5.7, Mare 😆
So I have *concepts* of a theory. Hear me out 1) we're told by Ororon that during the archon war, gods mixed human and animal traits 2) sage of the stolen flame tried to mix dragon and human 3) we have real examples of entire bloodlines that have animal traits (namely dionsas bloodline) My "theory" (if you could call it that) is that Ochkan wasn't the sages only attempt at mixing dragon and human. We do have a couple of characters who fit the criteria of "vishap person"... namely Chongyun with his pure "yang" spirit (yang is heavily associated with dragons) and Dehya who's constellation is a manticore... a manticore is part dragon/part lion. Those are the only 2 characters who have serpent-like eyes and both are associated with dragons. Hence, they are likely vishap people and enjou probably has something to do with it.
I wish this world quest was part of the archon quest because world quests as cool as they are, they're self contained and doesn't expand to other areas, the Little Guy can problably have the power to reset Natlan undoing everything we'll do in the archon quest but in the main quest he doesn't even exist. 🙃
About xbalanque doesn't included in the dragon sage calculation, i wonder if it's possible if xbalanque got this leylines or even the shades stuff backing him, because on the west of master night wind area, the island covered in fog, the npc observer there doesn't remember that the island is covered in fog after we finish the related quest there
Waxa the dragon sage's agenda is made even clearer here. Since beginning of Natlan, he's said to wanting to merge the bloodlines of humans and dragons. Ochkan is but one individual, so Waxa's goal is not completed. He actually wants the entirety of Natlan's humans and dragons/vishaps/suarians to become one single bloodline. Activating "Huitzilopochtli" at the volcano is essentially, commencing Mass Effect 3's green/synthesis ending. The new hybrid of human/dragon will have the power needed to cleanse the land of the abyss.
Xabalanque's existence may just be reinforcing the idea that thou all that is prophecied must come to pass, Things undefined by prophecy _can also happen_
Oh no, I'm 11 minutes late! Feels like logging in with 200 resin + 5 condensed. "How long has it been filled? Why didn't I farm artifacts yesterday?!" Lol.
My cracked theory is like: The heavenly principles are the master controller of teyvat. They love humans the way humans already are and don't want them to evolve. All things said, how do you achieve evolution? By the use/help of forbidden knowledge, one of the main sources of which is the Abyss. Forbidden knowledge has been locked out of Teyvat by the Heavenly Principles and thus it is a completely foreign concept to life in Teyvat. Deshret tried to bring it to it's people and the people couldn't tolerate the power of forbidden knowledge. We already know one of the nations which was technologically advanced and conducting experiments on science, alchemy and evolution - Khaenriah. Khaenriah allowed forbidden knowledge inside and was punished by the heavenly principles. We also know that one of the Visionaries was Rhinedottir who focused on different types of life and evolution, which supports this argument. Current teyvat is trapped in a cycle of Samsara by Irminsul which is for all technical purposes, a perpetual samsara machine, which makes life in teyvat stuck in a loop and not allowed to evolve. One counter to my logic is : abyss causes chaos and destruction so how can it help in evolution? Hmmm, maybe a total destruction is how you start a new life and evolution... 14:55 Idk man i need to sleep 😴
I had to watch the intro multiple times because I got so distracted by Ororon that my brain melted and I couldn't understand anything you said, oopsie 😅
Ive just noticed how Neuvillette saying that natlan is "a Nation of Dragons" and dragons appearantly being able to imitate humans makes that statement from Neuvilette so much more crazy.
First, smoke detector has been checked. Second, would love another video on Evolution! The Dragon and Natlan lore has been sooo good and learning more about it is awesome. You mentioned that Xbalanque never showed up in any prophecies and they did not expect him. Do you think there is any chance he could be a Descender? Love your video, thanks for all your content!!

Interesting that the Sage’s scorched earth plan (in order to reset existence and bring forth a new world) sounds like the intent alluded to for the Tsaritsa and Pierro’s plans with the gnoses…
I’m still laughing how my actual exposure to Hoyoverse is through GGZ which just seemed like a normie anime mobile game WHO TF KNEW they held there so many lore heavy things 😭✨
Ooh, i was so confused after this quest Like in 5.0 we set out on a quest just to help our saurian companion, found out about the sage, who gave phlogiston to humanity and he seemed kinda good and now in 5.2 we are talking about evolution and the sage using humans for his plans, like where did this come from? And they did such a strange move with Och-kan like he was a tyrant and killed saurians but he is also kinda good cause he didn't let his father to activate the nuke plan??? I'm so confused by this dragon lore😭😭 And there probably won't be a need for sage's plan (like with Narcisennkreuz) cause Mavuika will do everything in 5.3

What i want to know is if Xbalanque is going to revive from the dragon heart in dragonspine and if this is going to tie into the mondstadt new region somehow. Im pretty sure there is some hints that hes going to revive from the heart? Im not just making this up in my head, right?
It'd be interesting if as Fontainians are really oceanids, humans were really abyss-kin. The new area has an NPC that does show that abyss kin can be tricked into believing they're humans.
22:37 precisely. This is also one of the reasons why i feel currently full powered archons (aka with the authority) are more powerful than neuvilette. Because neuvilette is in the body belonging to human realm wielding the power of light realm. They are not compatible and i do not think that neuvilette can fully unleash his dragon might. Atleast not unless the Light and Human realm are harmonized in the real world. Until then he would be weaker than a mighty dragon sovereign in light realm or a mighty god of human realm. Not by much but he cannot achieve his true peak because of this.
@@Mani-oc6cy Eh, at this point i am numb to certain simpleton groups within genshin community. I refuse to believe anything in Genshin's story is as simple as they believe it to be. And they do not have the answer for any question you pose at them. Yes Egeria was unable to turn primordial sea water into blood as the authority was not completely hers, so you are saying Egeria was weak? A creation of Shade of Life, meant to replace the hydro sovereign would be weak? No. It is simply that the hydro sovereign simply had more nuanced control of that authority. That doesn't directly translate to "combat ability". Neuvilette has never displayed actual "combat" skills. Most of his power showcase was simply overwhelming the opponent with power. That is hardly enough against a skilled fighter like Morax or Raiden. Plus his greatest feat of turning fontainian blood into actual blood, was done when he still had Gnosis, how do you know if he didn't use the gnosis in conjunction with his authority? And now that the gnosis is gone, can he still perform the same feat on the same level? He is still a very young dragon. He does not have the experience in worldly matters or combat. Not to mention, the current era was created by Primordial one to specifically inhibit creatures from light or dark realm. If being born into human form would give them the same level of power as their original dragon form in Light Realm, what did Primordial one even did all that for? Since dragons cant die, PO must have made sure that even if they incarnate in the Human Realm, they would still be suppressed otherwise a dragon returning to full power within human realm renders the whole point of human realm-light realm separation. And the last argument, Zhongli hid from Neuvilette. Well can be a lot of reasons for that, 1 - If Zhongli and Neuvilette indeed ended up fighting, irrespective of who wins, at the very least Chenyu Vale would have been destroyed. Zhongli obviously doesn't want that. Heck Neuvilette is the hydro dragon, if his powers surged the Bishui river, it would threaten rest of liyue as well. So ofcourse he wont go out an about in front of him . 2- Zhongli may very well feel guilty, about his authority being a stolen one and is not sure how to face Neuvilette. 3- He has to hide his identity. He was with Hu Tao who is already suspicious that Zhongli is some adepti. The others out of respect for him help him hide this, but Neuvilette would not. Not for Morax or Barbatos at least specially since they use fake visions. Even if he didn't fight morax, he would definitely have made a snarky remark about "Oh how the heavens have fallen, to be reduced to relying on glowing glass eyes" or something. Even if most wont pick up on it, Hu Tao certainly would have pieced two and two together. So in conclusion, Neuvilette IS very strong. But not strong enough that he can single handedly judge everyone like he claims to.I very firmly believe that Morax is stronger and Raiden would have been stronger too if it was her original body. This is as far as "combat" goes. However if they were to fight Neuvilette would either win OR even if Neuvilette dies, he would end up mortally wounding the other. But he is not strong enough to "overwhelm" them. Otherwise that just makes for a very boring and dumbed down plot tbh.
That relation between current Vishaps and Sovereign Dragons seems interesting. We know Apep is alive hence there are no Dendro Vishaps, that also means that all the Sovereign Dragons in their dragon forms have perished(except for maybe geo and anemo?). There is also a possibility that seeds of the Sovereign Dragons are still left behind, waiting for someone to finally nurture them and bring them back in new, evolved forms including but not limited to human form. What if Orobashi was an evolved version(or offspring) of Electro Sovereign Dragon and someone tipped him off about it therefore he went on a mission to find the truth about himself, in the process learning about the Celestia, The Primordial One and his war with the Dragons,The Abyss and even the Forbidden Knowledge. He might have thought that the Electro Archon(Ei/Makoto) must have some answers so he went to the Inazuman surface but instead got slain because he might have already been corrupted by the Abyss by then. This is also interesting because Orobashi's carcass is found in Tatarasuna, where Dottore betrayed Scaramouche and started his experiments on him to make him the next "god", but what if he wanted Scaramouche to be the next Electro Sovereign instead? Because his plan revolved around getting Electro Gnosis fused with Scaramouche's Mecha, thus granting Scaramouche the power of Electro Sovereign(much like what happened when Focalors returned the Hydro Gnosis to Neuvillette). But in the process Dottore might have realized that this Mecha may not be the right "evolved" form, hence he erased all of his segments just to keep the Electro gnosis in his deal with Nahida, and to this day is still searching for the next evolved form to carry on his experiment. Its also interesting to note that Dottore believes in human evolution and wants them to hold powers that rivals the gods, which makes him human counterpart of Dragon Sage. Ei discarded her gnosis stating she has no use for it, what if Ei(or Makoto) already found the next Sovereign and returned the authority to them with the help of Istaroth? Which brings us back to Vishaps, Enjou and of course Orobashi who all are intricately connected to Enkanomiya. This also means Dottore's mission to create the next Electro Sovereign might just be useless and Nahida realized this when she used the electro gnosis to invoke Greater Lord Rukkhadevata's realm of consciousness. And since Apep is alive and got cured by Nahida, the Dendro Gnosis that Dottore has might also be useless. in fact what if all the next Elemental Sovereigns are already chosen? Hence every archon give away their gnoses easily, except for Mavuika because Och-Kan was supposed to be the next Pyro Sovereign but he betrayed both Xbalanque and Dragon Sage, and therefore Natlan is still searching for the right candidate to wield this power.

The Ochan thing was such a misfire for me. Like "Yes we know he tortured dragons and treated others horribly but look how small and cute he is now! Don't you feel bad for him??" No? Not really? They're also muddying the waters about the dragon war thing too and it makes me feel like they realized they made Celestia and the origin of humans a story about invading colonizers stealing teyvat from the dragons and then went "no wait".
XB's gender doesn't change depending on the traveler's gender, which proves he's a separate character. In Sumeru when the sibling was implied in Aranara quests, the gender changed.
Okay so slight spoiler warning if you haven't explored all of the area surrounding that quest. There is a puzzle that unlocks a building where there's an egg in a hatchery. And a diary of the person who watched over this egg. After hearing these thoughts about evolution... Sounds like the egg is part of the experiments for creating a new dragon. This egg wouldn't hatch for the traveler and there are hints that it's "not in the right environment". Were they trying to create a new dragon that would survive "nuking the volcano". The coloring on the egg reminds me of the phlogiston lava colors.
It's pretty obvious that the reason Traveler can't resonate with the statue in Natlan is because of the Night Kingdom. They are not from Natlan and thus do not possess an Ancient Name, but when they do finally get their Ancient Name and set out with Mavuika to defeat the Abyss once and for all, they will also have their Pyro powers. Also, I harbor a crack theory that Little One is going to be sacrificed in order to bring Xabalanque back as the Pyro Sovereign. Xabalanque is a cunning individual. It's very likely that, like Kinich and Ajaw, Xabalanque and Xiuhcoatl are going to enter a contract in which the death of one will result in the rebirth of the other. After all, the Pyro Sovereign's death was faked, and that was also confirmed by the Sage. So he definitely knows something. Also, I just want Xabalanque (and another Dragon Sovereign) to be playable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so I understand if this sounds like copium on my part.
Mavuika is suspicious 😂 Her lore will be more deeper thank it looks like. Her talk with someone in first Natlan trailer, transform into bird and "her" portrait in Night-Wind tribe. Also Chasca bow said that someone was delate from history. I more and more start believing that pyro dragon live but is in some slumber.
oh shoot!! I don't know. I haven't had time to upload subs manually.... not sure why yt hasnt processed the automatic ones. I'll try and get my own (better) ones up tomorrow!
Sooo... if pyro sovereing could never be reborn from dragons but maybe humans that means it could be playable? (Copium) I recall a CC joking while doing the Ochkanatlan mission, referring to the little saurian as the Natlan version of Neuvillette. Personally, I'll be down for it

:O OH MY GOD
Some people wondered if the saurian that "died" when we met our little guy was the Dragon Sage too because that tepetlisaur spoke in fancy font.

If Xbalanque is indeed in no prophecy, wouldn't that hint that he could be a descender?
Outlander maybe, but not descender. He was the Pyro archon, all descenders have omni elemental capacity
Descenders has no rights for the seat of the Divine throne as stated in the Travelers Story bio. Xbalanque is most likely an outlander Archon.
@jimjumj3074 i would doubt that it's the Descender part that disqualifies them, as opposed to the Outlander part
It is unknown how much Albedo actually knows but in order to drive the story forward he should know quite a lot it might be worth revisiting what he said in the earlier quests as well
Albedo uses star silver ore to conduct a potion to extract the travellers power but why did he use specifically star silver from that mountain as a catalyst.

Waxaklahun probably made that part up
I think our saurian will become the new Pyro dragon
For Context: the GGZ mentioned is about basically resetting the world if humanity failed in their fight against the Honkai. You can find a clip that (traumatized) showed how Kiana became a God and ended the world for a reset, only for another generation and civilization to blossom afterwards. The video is called "Kiana's world 12-13". This is also further built upon the Hi3 Storyline as (SPOILER ALERT)
The Cocoon of Finality which is a being of Honkai, wanted to achieve "embrace" with Humanity and everytime it fails to do that, it resets back the time loop.
ubah-kan disguised himself as Manqu and has a persona hiding under the Saurian relics association.
i replayed the Little guy World Quest and realized that he is the NPC that pushed us to take the journey in the first place
at first he tested our resolve by giving us a choice to give over Little Buddy to be "taken care off" aka kill Little Guy because of the special red mark
we then chose to not get manipulated into doing this and he then informed us of the things needed to be done to deal with the special red mark issue.

I also came to that idea because of how Xbalanque did not appear on the dragon's divinations.
@@catdownthestreet Would be cool but our siblings arrived not that long ago. Little bit over 500 years if I am not mistaken. The first archon lived waaaaay before that. I also keep thinking this fall of dragons and rise of humans is analogous to the real-life reign of dinosaurs giving way to the age of mammals/humans, since y'know, the modern dragons of Natlan are literally dinosaurs, and the dragons were wiped out by a "meteorite" in the form of the Primordial One. Surviving dinosaurs evolved into birds--probably why there are bird saurians all around Ochkanatlan--and humans in Teyvat have been likened to birds with their use of wind gliders. Could that have something to do with dragons evolving into humans?
what if he is who the gnoses are made of? if he was one, which i think he is, he has to be the third one
@winnie7668 could also be that, to be frank we dont know many details about what makes a descender yet, just 1) not native to teyvat 2) have a "will to challenge the world's". xbalanque seems like he did a lot of incredible things considering he was just a mortal human, so it seems to fit the bill for a descender, but he could just be an extraordinary outlander and not reach the will of a descender. guess we'll see
@@winnie7668 sorry, but what is the difference of outlanders and descenders?? i mean, both comes outside of teyvst right?

I'm also quite curious about Dragon Civilization, cuz now that we learned that they most likely had space shuttles (from the new refinement material), there are grounds to speculate that Dragons originally came to the planet of PO too, which will explain why PO then came here to colonize the planet in return (if dragons did something bad before)

Hear me out
1) we're told by Ororon that during the archon war, gods mixed human and animal traits
2) sage of the stolen flame tried to mix dragon and human
3) we have real examples of entire bloodlines that have animal traits (namely dionsas bloodline)
My "theory" (if you could call it that) is that Ochkan wasn't the sages only attempt at mixing dragon and human.
About xbalanque doesn't included in the dragon sage calculation, i wonder if it's possible if xbalanque got this leylines or even the shades stuff backing him, because on the west of master night wind area, the island covered in fog, the npc observer there doesn't remember that the island is covered in fog after we finish the related quest there
Thanks for the video, it helped me clear some small details I missed during the quest
Yooooo finally! I've completed the quest but have been waiting for someone to talk about it!!!

Both Gold and Surtalogi is seeking "perfection", might have something to with evolution too
i dont understand how no one is shocked at the visuals of the dragon sage 😭😭
My cracked theory is like:
The heavenly principles are the master controller of teyvat.
Idk man i need to sleep 😴
So Xbalanque is like Genshin's version of Godwyn, a capable god with that little extra rizz that makes dragons glaze him up? I can buy that.

Comrade Lysenko was a dragon all along, who coulda thought.
I can’t wait for more lore & theories
Ah, cool, roozevelt video explanation of natlan version of fontaine narzzikreus world quest, lol
Love your video, thanks for all your content!!
a. great video as always 10/10
b. did u name ur son dexter douglas after the freakazoid character bc that was legit one of my all time favourite cartoons as a child and i will love that for him if so :')
yes!!!!! also one of my all time fav shows as a kid!!!
Interesting that the Sage’s scorched earth plan (in order to reset existence and bring forth a new world) sounds like the intent alluded to for the Tsaritsa and Pierro’s plans with the gnoses…
Was seriously listening until I lost it at Eye-thority 🤣
I’m still laughing how my actual exposure to Hoyoverse is through GGZ which just seemed like a normie anime mobile game WHO TF KNEW they held there so many lore heavy things 😭✨
I really didn't understand this quest. It's like the only one that went over my head
Ooh, i was so confused after this quest
Like in 5.0 we set out on a quest just to help our saurian companion, found out about the sage, who gave phlogiston to humanity and he seemed kinda good and now in 5.2 we are talking about evolution and the sage using humans for his plans, like where did this come from? And they did such a strange move with Och-kan like he was a tyrant and killed saurians but he is also kinda good cause he didn't let his father to activate the nuke plan??? I'm so confused by this dragon lore😭😭
And there probably won't be a need for sage's plan (like with Narcisennkreuz) cause Mavuika will do everything in 5.3
HI ROOZE AAA
Your videos have helped so much in keeping me sane while working on a huge commission (hehe) from somebody
I want to thank you SO MUCH AA
Your videos are incredible sjdnhdhd
The little saurian we are traveling with will be the dragon sovereign
Dexter is SO cute!! Congratulations!! 🥹
super helpful, thank you! Enjoy your quality time with son and take care
Your voice sounds so nice! :3
Thank you always! I love your videos!
What i want to know is if Xbalanque is going to revive from the dragon heart in dragonspine and if this is going to tie into the mondstadt new region somehow. Im pretty sure there is some hints that hes going to revive from the heart? Im not just making this up in my head, right?
Question; but why would Xbalanque revive from Durin? Durin isn't from Natlan and was created not born of Teyvat, he's also not dead.
I was playing this on mobile when the dragon sage popped up and I started screaming and my boyfriend thought I was crazy
"are more powerful than neuvillette" careful, a certain group of fans will rush to tackle you for implying that of puritan angel neuvillette 🙈
Hence every archon give away their gnoses easily, except for Mavuika because Och-Kan was supposed to be the next Pyro Sovereign but he betrayed both Xbalanque and Dragon Sage, and therefore Natlan is still searching for the right candidate to wield this power.
well as long as it’s for science, what’s a little earth shattering volcanic light show…. call it lizards in STEM
enjou our king
You ever order a meal you know is gonna be great? You know after your done youll be satisfied?
Thats how i feel about when i start and finish these videos lol. Damn i ate good 😂
shi-bah-lan-kee kills me every time
Who knows the Huitzli thing is Night Kingdom Reset Button just like Source thingy
[Thatched roof cottages intensify]
If Xabi just appeared out of nowhere, could he have been a decender?
Xbalanque is a plant by Celestia confrimed
Ngl, the description of the Huitzilopochtli/whatever the Xiuhcoatl's eye was turned into.. sounds like the Auge der Verurteilung
Your dog is so cute!
8:52 you mean.... kinda like Paimon?
?
Rooze is back 🎉
The Ochan thing was such a misfire for me. Like "Yes we know he tortured dragons and treated others horribly but look how small and cute he is now! Don't you feel bad for him??"
No? Not really? They're also muddying the waters about the dragon war thing too and it makes me feel like they realized they made Celestia and the origin of humans a story about invading colonizers stealing teyvat from the dragons and then went "no wait".
Delays for Rooz Jr are understandable
for some glorious evolution! (sorry)
I’m behind on Natlan lore but doesn’t it seem like Xabalanque is a descender? And there’s gold imagery tied to them.. are they one of the travelers?

Hello! Do you know why theres no automatic subtitles for this video? They are so useful! Thank you!
oh shoot!! I don't know. I haven't had time to upload subs manually.... not sure why yt hasnt processed the automatic ones. I'll try and get my own (better) ones up tomorrow!
No way you name your new Dog Fenomenoide xdd
Sooo... if pyro sovereing could never be reborn from dragons but maybe humans that means it could be playable? (Copium)
I recall a CC joking while doing the Ochkanatlan mission, referring to the little saurian as the Natlan version of Neuvillette. Personally, I'll be down for it
Any theories on the new moon destroyed in the sky only visible on natlan??
